Yeti

Years are dragging by, without having you here;
Every fiber of my being wants you holding me near.
Through time and space, eternity, our ties shall never sever;
In these words you know my truth, "I love you Always and Forever."

Itni si hain ye dua

"Aankhein aesi, jaise aakash ganga mein behte taarein.
(Eyes rivalling the river of stars in the sky)
 Muskaan aesi, maano suraj ki kirano ko bunn ke banaye.
(A smile spun from the rays of the sun)
Aawaj aesi jaise tarakhti dhoop mein chhaaon mein chalti hawaayein.
(A voice as soothing as a breeze in scorching summer)
Tera saath aesa, jaise andheri raahon mein chand ki halki roshni ka sahara.
(Presence reminding of the gentle moon light, guiding through dark routes)
Tera choo jana manno rab ki duayein"
(Your touch, so divine/ your touch feels like a blessing from the divine)
Teri gair maijudgi karde mujhe bheer mein akela
(Your absence makes me feel alone in the crowd)
Tera rona karde mere dill ko beshara
(Your tears hits me with a wave of helplessness)
Zindagi meri rahe ya na rahe...bas tu mere saath rahe
(Cant translate this one. Sorry)
Bas itni si hain is dill ki ye dua
Bas itni si hain is dill ki ye dua...

Raah-e-amn Mein Akshar Khaaiyaan Banaate Hain

raah-e-amn mein akshar khaaiyaan banaate hain
pyaar karne waalon mein dooriyaan banaate hain

aao ham gale milkar maat den siyaasat ko
jo bhi faasle apne darmiyaan banaate hain

zaalimon bhala kaise tum hamein ujaadoge
ham to vo hain jo dil mein bastiyaan banaate hain

haq bayaan karne se ham kabhi nahin darte
gaur se ye sun len jo bediyaan banaate hain

pur-sukoon hote hain khoo se tar-b-tar karke
hamko qatl kar ke vo surkhiyaan banaate hain

unko ye khabar kar do sach ka paasbaan hai rab
jo charaagh kii khaatir aandhiyaan banaate hain

door rahte dekha hai ilm unke bachchon se
muddaton se walid jo takhtiyan banaate hain

fazl-e-rab se hi unka raasta nahin rukta
doosron kii khaatir jo seedhiyaan banaate hain

Air is heavy with August's stifling heat,
Undulating water at the beach entreats.
Grab the kids, towels and sunscreen, let's hit the road,
Unleash your inner child, get ready for play mode.
Sandy shore and cool, refreshing waves are waiting.
Time to go now, no hesitating!

Rab-Eye Chops For Din-Din

A party was held for wife swapping
But so many bellies were flopping
The wives searched in vain
For something to gain
As any big deal spurs thrift shopping!

Zero Tolerance

Prophet Abraham took an axe
He smashed the idols
He broke them except the biggest one in size
He hung the axe around his neck
When the people came back
They were shocked to see broken idols
They said who could have done this
Abraham have you done this to our gods?
He replied ask that big one
They said you know idols can't speak
He said you mean they are just dumb and deaf statues
Why do you worship them if they aren't god?
They started yelling toheen blasphemy disrespect..
Q.What lesson do we get?
Ans.Chak day phattay.
Masjid dha day mandar dha day?
Dha day jo kuj dhenda?
Us banday da dil na dhavin
Bhulya jiday dil vich Rab rehnda...

Grab the keys let’s get into the car
Raring to go, we won’t travel too far
Everything’s packed inside the car boot
And I’ve meticulously planned our route
To the seaside for a treat this bank holiday

Everyone’s excited as we get on our way
Soon we arrive at glorious golden sands
Children hold buckets and spades in their hands
As they dash to dip their toes in the warm sea
Paddling and playing together so contentedly
Enjoying their free time as a happy family

Jig is to jiggle and gig is to giggle
  As wig is to wiggle and pig is to piggle

But is civ to civil
  As drive is to drivel

Scribe yields us scribble
But does nib give us nibble
  Or quib give us quibble
  Or drib give us dribble
     Or rib give us ribald

Dab yields us dabble
But does rab give us rabble
  Or scrab give us Scrabble

Does rid turn into riddle
  Or fid become fiddle

Mud becomes muddle
Bud does hud become huddle
  Or hub become Hubble

Alas, these are unsolved
Mysteries of the Universe

Just Let the Time Fly

J-ust let the time fly,
O-ctober nineteenth day;
E-arly in the morning,
N-ightfall fades away.
A-llow the time to fly,
F-rom dawn till twilight;
I-n the speed of hours,
E-very moment is so tight.

L-et the time fly,
A-s the earth spins on its axis;
B-e fruitful or productive,
I-n spite of the mist.
A-im at every opportunity,
G-rab the chance under the sky;
A-llow your life to grow, just let the time fly.

Taste a Victory

R-ise of the sun begins,
U-sing its light by dawn;
T-wilight has disappeared,
H-aze is already gone.

D-ay two in March morn, dusk is nowhere in sight;
E-vening shadows fade into the dark of the night.

M-ist passes from view,
A-s the smoke leaves the air;
T-he coal clouds in the sky
A-re turning white up there.

G-rab every opportunity,
A-ct quickly but surely;
D-eny the waste and haste
I-n order to taste a victory.

Fasten Your Seat Belt

D-ay thirteen of March
O-ne dawn has broken;
N-ight chill turns warm,
N-o more cold rain
A-gain.

L-earn to wait for the right time,
A-nother chance you must take;
R-are opportunity comes,
O-nce there, silence you must break.
G-rab it with determination, make your presence felt;
A-im to soar high above as you fasten your seat belt.

With the Morning Sun, An Abc Poem,Sonnet

Another morning filled with sun
Beckons the mind to open where,
Clearing the cobwebs has begun,
Dreaming so many words to share.

Enjoy my tea and my muffins
For this is when I’m most at peace
Grab pen and paper, fun begins
Hoping a new poem will release.

Imbedded in my mind are words,
Just wish I could remember some!
Knocking around, but never heard
Laugh it off, someday they will come.

Many thoughts appear thru the night
Never found with the morning light!

Abc Poem - Anticipation

A nticipation ruins the fun of surprises
B etter to wait for destiny to run its course
C ast your eyes on the platter of life's flavors before you
D ecide to taste and savor first, not feast ravenously.

E xhilaration comes when you spread your wings
F ly free like an eagle, soar into the blue yonder
G rab a fistful of clouds into your dreams
H appy thoughts too, to replace drab moments.

I n a world where mixed emotions can tint rainbow colors
J oys become diluted by unfulfilled promises
K illing you softly, relentless and intimidating
L ight and shadow a fantasy play under a grey sky.

Kya Hu Mai

Tere gum me aanso hoo mai
Tere hr pal ki sathi hu mai.

Chho kr jo guzre tujhe, wo hwa hu mai
Bhula du jo hr gum ko, wo nsha hu mai
Teri nazro ki talash hoo mai
Tere dil ki pyash hoo mai
Chaha jo tumne wo pyar hu mai
Kiya jo intzaar tune, wo rahat hu mai
Tere dil ne jo ki, wo chahat hu mai
Pta nhi, tumhare liye
Sirf tumhari aadat hu
Ya tumhari chahat hu mai..??
