WHY DO YOU MARRY?

For some, it’s a softer escape
A flight from silence, not quite love
As if a ring alone could mend a soul
Bruised by too many “maybe tomorrows."

To others, it’s help dressed in vows
A lifeline tied to daily needs
To fatten the pig at market day
Turn union into means to feed.

Some whisper “love” with shaky lips
But love to them,

Will you marry me

Sue's
surprise
birthday treat.
A romantic
picnic on the beach
with roses and champagne.
Bill kneels down, and proposes
then produces a diamond ring
Will she marry him ... what do you think?

To Me

to me your love looks inward
you only serve yourself
from where I sit, no one else is included
even I am left out
why did we marry

I am ready to marry

I am waiting ready to marry,
My love there for you to embody,
It's just begging for you to carry,
So just shun that busybody.
Come! Let's just merry,
I love you just come.

My hubby prefers silver to gold
Got married to save his soul
It’s a lesson well learned
Better marry than to burn
But he still wants to be cuckold

If biscuit dipped in curry’s what he likes,
What use needless flurry on what he likes? 
O be not so narrow-minded a man,
At least east-west marry in what he likes.
Let them say, ne’er the twain shall meet,
If they do, why worry in what he likes.
