Marry Poems

WHY DO YOU MARRY?

For some, it’s a softer escape
A flight from silence, not quite love
As if a ring alone could mend a soul
Bruised by too many “maybe tomorrows."

To others, it’s help dressed in vows
A lifeline tied to daily needs
To fatten the pig at market day
Turn union into means to feed.

Some whisper “love” with shaky lips
But love to them,

Sue's
surprise
birthday treat.
A romantic
picnic on the beach
with roses and champagne.
Bill kneels down, and proposes
then produces a diamond ring
Will she marry him ... what do you think?

I am ready to marry

I am waiting ready to marry,
My love there for you to embody,
It's just begging for you to carry,
So just shun that busybody.
Come! Let's just merry,
I love you just come.

[The first 5-lines is an excerpt from my poem, "Your vase filled my vase with love" (2024)]. The sixth line was formed by taking a word per

It’s a lesson well learned

When east and west marry

If biscuit dipped in curry’s what he likes,
What use needless flurry on what he likes?
O be not so narrow-minded a man,
At least east-west marry in what he likes.
Let them say, ne’er the twain shall meet,
If they do, why worry in what he likes.

Marry A Good Person

The saying goes is true:
"A woman is a reflection of her husband."
If the husband is full gain in suffering
You see that in the wife
Though how beautiful is the woman
If you are in a wrong man
It will have no degree
Of beauty if the heart suffer
You will see that in her face
One of the most important decision
You

Or.

Whatever the case,

What time is it? I know it's late
The calendar shows a brand new date
But it's my favorite time to write
And I could write of you all night

The quiet moments spent in thought
Are all of you, a bouquet sought
To bring you morning words each day
My love for you penned different ways

So sleep now love and while

Marry me darlin

I love you,
I want to marry you,
Because if it's someone else,
They will definitely hurt you,

I understand you,
I know when to show love,
When not to,
Where to love you,

On your difficult days I love you even more,
I'll handle all your anger,
I'll handle all your mood swings,
I will not complain,

Give me your

Premium MemberThe Red Diamond

His heart would flutter, so in love was he.
She was smart, well-read, and a great beauty
So under the moon, on his bended knee,
He pleaded with her, "Will you marry me?"

The answer, "yes", he was relieved to hear,
Then they both decided the time next year.
"But your diamond takes longer, true, I fear."
He rued the
