"LOVE, just four letters for a very powerful word." By Poet

Why does life start out from a loving mother,
only to be given to another?
This loving mother cannot care for her,
as a tiny baby makes a stir.
A loving mother will sign papers that will cut like a knife,
making a decision effecting her and a new life.
This

Premium MemberRescue of innocence

you have draped your innocence in the warmth of muslin
your dark eyes speak of your loneliness in this strange land
your lips whisper within yourself your desires
when they should be screaming out loud for justice
do not shed precious tears amongst heartless men
they might just mock you and subjugate you more
an age when most would be unfolding

A Kidnapped Heart

There's no error or mistake
You captured me for goodness sake
My heart kidnapped the first day
There was no time limit or delay
It was captivated by your smile
It could not resist your style
Or the charms your sending me
Stealing my love easily
You must have been a good magician
Leaving me in this condition
It was very gradual
Trapped by a great

Premium MemberChristmas Elves Kidnapped Fay

Christmas elves swooped down on me and whisked me away
Because they liked my hat! Claimed our crazy neighbor Fay
Why didn’t they just take the hat? I asked, toasting my bread.
I don’t know, she admitted. Maybe they liked the shape of my head.

Where did they take you? My husband asked, a big surprise.
He usually does not

Hostages Kidnapped: Casualties of War

Hostages kidnapped: casualties of war

After extorting pound of flesh
lifetime humiliation drummed into captives
hammering indelible nightmare
no amount of therapy can expunge.

Lifetime trauma inflicted perpetrators wage
dead bodies littered makeshift triage
death and destruction
exhibit super fresh killing fields,
where sally forth set pathmark
to abominable gut wrenching
ghastly hollow hellscape.

Haunting horrid macabre scenes assault,
batter, clobber, et cetera the senses
death construed as mutual
(of

Kidnapped By the Heart

Have you ever felt torn or kidnapped by the heart…?
Nothing like family and friends who don’t do their part…
To make you feel whole and support you in every way..
Even if it’s nothing but a phone call or text by the day…
Saying”I love you” or “how are you doing”…?
Testing your mentality and interest in where you

Premium MemberThey Kidnapped My Baby Sister

I was six years old, the year was 1966. Mom left me alone in a plaza
with my one year old sister in a perambulator.
She went inside to do the grocery and asked me to take care
of her while she picked a few items;
Along came two teenagers. Inching

Premium MemberKidnapped By Aliens

They had kept me imprisoned there for three full days,
In that sparse, solitary room, of scarce sunshine rays.

Having good food to eat, had never been a problem;
They brought hot meals, but the problem was boredom!

At least, they had the good grace to let me peruse,
A few of my books, they took for their own

Premium MemberPoems About Kidnapped Cats

Poems about heartache,
Poems about knees.
Poems about lost love.
Poems about cheese.

Poems about lettuce,
Poems about tacos,
Poems about kidnapped cats,
Poems about nachos.

Poems are coming out of my fingers.
Poems are coming out of my nose.
Stand back, dear friend.
The poem on you has suspicious glows.

I Survived

I remember that day
The day when my life turned upside down
The day I was kidnapped
Taken from my bed
Swayed from one side to another
Going down the steps
Out the door
When I see a car a few houses from my own
I struggled and fought against him
He held me tighter and pinched me harder
Pushed me in the car and

When

It a day like any other
We were sharing time as a family
My two girls and my son
My husband and I laughed at his jokes
We ate till we were stuffed
Played games like crazy
Then I tucked them into bed
I tucked in my son last
He looked at me and said “I love you mommy”
I go to bed and

Kidnapped

I plan to kidnap you~though you
are a fully grown man.
I want to give you a bag of
My heart's sweetest confection
Get you in my car and into a dark
forest.
To please you beyond human pleasure,
Beyond any measure, my dearest
love treasure.
In the woods, near a sparkling stream,
We  can settle and dream~
And at night' lie under sparking stars
Like

Kidnapped. - for Peeking Through The Keyhole Contest

The hole where the key’s meant to go
Was vacant so I had to know
What was outside to be seen
But my captors weren’t all that keen

It seems I succumbed to a cosh
Cos someone was after some dosh
Nobody heard when I cried
Nobody knew I was tied

But I had a knife

Premium MemberI Kidnapped the Wrong Faerie

I kidnapped a faerie the other day,
she looked lively and happy, and I wanted to play.
We took the neighbor's mail out of the box,
We tore it up, and we ate some lox.

At first I had her on a tiny leash,
so she would be attached to me. Capeesh?
I was terrified I would be caught
