I Survived

I remember that day The day when my life turned upside down The day I was kidnapped Taken from my bed Swayed from one side to another Going down the steps Out the door When I see a car a few houses from my own I struggled and fought against him He held me tighter and pinched me harder Pushed me in the car and we drove away I was thinking “ Will I see my mom again” Will the police find me? We arrive at this house He locked me in a room And laughed his way out I tried to undo my bonds Grabbed a pen near me But cut myself instead Then he came in “ The police will find me” “ Will they? You will never be found” “ F you!” I got beat I was tired He left But I had a fire A desire and will to be free He beat me till I was tired But I would be free He dragged me until I was bruised But I would be free He humiliated, tortured, and put me down But I would be free! Then a few days later, I was free
