Ongoing war
A not tall, a rather pudgy little man
who is an absolute ruler over his twenty million-something inhabitants
Got visited by another powerful man, who is slim
but not tall like his diplomat
the fat man was happy, had his country turning out
waving flags, their dance and jubilation
photo taken, fraternity and contracts signed
For the absolute ruler, who had his brother killed
to be sure of his power, it was a great opportunity
to take, not so tall man, around looking at things
the visitor had won a war and was in high spirits, smiled
patted his strands of hair and asked himself
since his host harvests hair as a big business, should he ask for a discreet rug?
He decided not to ask, his face is so well known
that jokers in the foreign press would make jokes
make him look vain
He did the masculine thing, buying artillery shells
instead, not that he needs a lot to know
but one never knows what hysteric people can do
those who cannot accept defeat.
As we walk along the beach in Honolulu the sand welcomes are feet
The warm sun and the gentle trade winds are a combo not to be beat
The waves brush up against the shore then offer a hasty retreat
A kite surfer floats across the water looking so very elite
Surfboards with those tanned riders come rushing in
In an effort to impress those bikini-clad ladies they hand their trying to win
Tonight the feast for the ages a luau awaits
A romantic evening under the stars ours to create
Hula dancers swaying to the music under the moonlight
Drinks flowing like the ocean to liven up our night
Our evening of fun has come to an end
We leave in high spirits as tomorrow we will do it all again
Delightful moments of sheer mirth
childhood times filled with precious worth
sibling bond of sweet giggles
for pillow’s cottony wiggles.
There was I with my Sister dear
in high spirits of gladness cheer
basking under great freedom-glow
watching downpour of blessings flow.
As an adult who finds gladness
in nature-trip’s peace blissfulness.
going for outdoor merriment
brings to my heart blest enjoyment
With gratitude, I welcome glee
to exude exuberance-spree
while reaching-out by love and grace
rejoicing* in God midst life's race.
*Psalm 35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

Malta puts me in high spirits,
always have me twisting at the first sip,
languishing its energetic erotic spike,
total elevation only can you see!
awe! alluring gestures floats off my tongue when I am on my Malta.

Christmas is the most joyous time of the year
We're all infected with love and good cheer
For a few days or so
In high spirits, we wallow
Then back to the same old world, we hold so dear

Toes engulfed by sand and pebbles, gentle flow,
Area of sand sloping down to the water of the sea,
Relinquish all the fear and pour excitement into their eyes,
Oh wonderous water, plunge them inside their glory,
Teach them to find a disposition of providing amusement,
As they toss tiny rocks into the great open tide,
Into nothingness with superior improvement,
While the innocent pureness of two brothers collide.
May I hear the chuckles of those handsome boys,
Ringing and playing and singing and dancing,
All the chimes of playful giggles in high spirits,
Ring around the rosie while time keeps passing.
Throw out the plastic toys or save them in the attic,
Lets keep the animated memories alive in spirit,
Go and search for the immersed sea of innocence,
Watch the brothers prance to their favorite lyrics.

Helping the warriors of the sport,
Gleaming in high spirits even when their team is down,
Their call and dance rallies the crowd.
They are the leaders of the fans,
But they are so much more.
Their agility and dancing bring hope to the worried team.
They train like warriors on the field,
They are athletes themselves,
They are the messengers of the fans to say,
"We believe in you."

I give honor to those heroic
Individuals who have sacrificed their lives
Thanks, everyone, who viewed this day with
Reverence, consideration and meekness
For all who passed away on this day –
I’m sorry to hear of the destruction you
Saw with terror and grief…soon, there will
Be peace on Earth…Rest in Peace and rise in Mirth
Ev’ry year, when this day comes, sorrow
Sweeps over me…at nine eleven PM
Chaos will keep on brewing…grab the
Rope of hope…We need the Divine Savior soon…
For all who are grieving on this day,
I’d like to hand you a handkerchief…don’t weep!
Take heart, you cold-blooded Terrorists
Who p-planned on taking down the Twin Towers
Rest in peace…when you all awaken,
Be in High Spirits, you splendid sunrises

Remember, when we
were new in love,
In high spirits, and
scared of none;
Oh! We often had
long walks together,
Laughing loud and
having fun.
When we were poor
but pure;
We were Godly and
good.
We were mere,
Nature, my art,you
and I,
And always thought
seeing at the skies,
His nicety loves it all.
And ah! We had in
that erotic innocence
Vowed— again and
again,
On a sunny spring’s
day
In that meadow had
stony walls half-
fallen,
Reclined alongside,
long, under the
almond tree,
A sparrows-pair had
a heated discussion.
Deep in to the woods by spring
my quest by daybreak for croaking,
frog croaking, nature enthusiast‘s song,
hit upon by the *** end, a puddle,
frogs, a few in high spirits hopping,
something took the winds out of my sails!
whopping snake, old inactive by water,
these frogs take the snake a worm,
took me back to an old proverb:
when the snakes get old,
the frogs get him by the balls!
laughing I too tried some croaking!
great nap my song all around!
I pledge my love to no one
But you and you only
For I will care and cherish you
In sorrow and happiness
You will remain my shining VIP
A hub of sweet memories
Come rain or sun shine
I will fight to see you in high spirits
For that makes me complete
Life is like the dance of a flame
Breathing out smoke as the moments change
Fleeing chaotically from your name
Knowing not where it goes or whence it came
Until the mind blows it out
And only the luminous darkness remains
You are like my mesmerizing lullaby
You soothe my body…warming me like blankets
You make me die all the time when you prepare to fly
You are making me daydream without ruthless regrets
Your powers are amazing! You can even teach me to fight
With Your thundering might,
You melt away my impassive heart…
Like a candle, scorching with fright
You are like the merry midnight sky
But our merriness broke loose when you waved bye-bye to our friendship
You make me cry in high spirits time and time again…when I receive your reply!
You are inspiring me to take wing like an eagle, but I lost my grip
My emotions are roaming freely…someday I’ll reach to heaven’s height
With your mind-blowing sight,
You shun out the anxiety brewing in my tender heart
Like a dandy candle…a wish that won’t depart
