THE OTHER SAW IT BARE

“I’m repulsed by you,”
I say.
Maybe that will make me feel better.

Frozen, trying to remember memories
because you made me hate them.
Two sinners bonded,
creating a friendship
against everything in the commandment.

Oh, look what we became
One sinner gave it all.
The other… saw it bare.
The sinners?
Both right.
No wrong.

The sinners are separated.
One saw it as a joke.
One swore it all.
One never forgave.
Both fell.

The Devil laughed.

I saw.

Traitor

he sat beside me as a friend
while hiding his claws behind the back
and whenever i tried to reclaim my power
my bones were broken by the fate's plan

i never said no and allowed him
to commit the brutality
was it that i couldn't differ between truths and lies?
or i could never believe this new idea of him?

Judge

this war was started by your cannons aimed at my door
now i'll be the judge, i'm prepared with my spade
to bury us six feet below the ground
i'll make sure you never rise again

i'll be the hunter and you will be my prey
and this time you will run for your life
when i become a monster you always claimed i was
till i leave every lingering memory of us in ruins

To Be Used Is To Be Wasted

the magnetic pull that draws the connection
it can become weaker once you use the same poles
a friendship built upon the idea of being wanted by others
will always shatter over a little discourse
one wanted to be loved even if it was as a friend
one wanted to use the other's skill for his own great good
we were always meant to fall apart
the signs were there but you chose to ignore
to be used is to be wasted
that was the message from my greatest god

Their Laugh and My Cries

i was crucified by my own friends
for the sake of their own happiness
my tears became their way for joy
yet i never learned my lessons

i was sacrificed by my own friends
they found pleasure in my pain
a sadistic thing i always tried to deny
till i heard the evil plan one noon

i was crucified by my own friends
the re-telling feels like a stab in the wound
no joke was funny, nothing about me was
i was the wallflower they always dared to hunt

A Flower Torn

you lost your dignity in my eyes
the moment i sat down to write-
about your impudence and lies
that you threw at me and said goodbye

a coward in the skin of a roaring lion
threw stones at my door after setting it on fire,
allow me to brief you about the damage caused
karma will always follow you, or whatever path you stroll

skin in flames, tears and my pain
you caused it all while i was grieving someone's loss
thought you loved me like i was your favorite flower
but you tore me apart from petal to petal

your prayer to ascend for heaven, will always remain as a wish
years of torture that you have me hiding under love's disguise
it will come to hunt you just like your memories haunt my dreams
and in that moment i will know that was my revenge

Premium Memberweeds growing

I'm not in need,
of inevitability
of planting a seed
when the weeds.....

I step through
a horror show,
of this proud
of show and tell.

I become greener,
as the weather
is stormier,

I hate this world
and the way you hurl
the abuse when I'm
the storm and voice
to an inner chaos
carries the echoes....

....wet clothes.....
hair dripping wet
I can't think
I carry no bets
to their perversions,
she was just a friend.
I ruined it completely
with this damn poetry.

A coffee in the subtle,
doesn't carry a title,
and I miss those moments.......

I miss the bus-stop cheap feeds
and I never carried that seed,
I just loved you as you were
and not as a Goddess of her.....

the two

the two were a best match
opposites attract, interest meets
the two tried to leave one another but
the two were tubed

lessons learned, trials faced but
they always found a way
through groups and tribes
new faces and towns
nobody every cliqued like the two

Same Building

we came up same building,
same busted elevator, same rumors in the walls —
three girls stacked on top of each other
like secrets whispered through radiator pipes.
6S - she’s half rican, half black,
but don’t call her half - she all attitude,
dark skin glowing when she laughs too loud,
hips slick like she dancing with nobody’s permission.
5E - 5’1 and built like a threat,
she got a stare that’ll stop you mid-lie.
she hate surprises, so we never sneak up -
she come knocking first if you do her wrong.
then me - 7N, freckles spread like stars on light skin,
red-brown hair tied up, book in my lap,
content to stay inside while they chase block heat.
they pull me out anyway - stoop nights, corner gossip,
big dreams that don’t always fit our pockets.
we so different it make no sense -
three girls shaped like soft rebellion,
like hard lessons, like love
that never needed no permission slip.
puberty tried to twist us up,
boys tried to break us open,
life threw her worst
and we just leaned closer -
me, yaphia, tarita - same building girls,
same busted elevator,
still going up.

Afterglow

We are light and noise when we are together,
A world of shared laughter, forgetting the weather.
Your presence is sunlight, a warm, golden glow,
Where the smiles on our faces have nowhere to go.

The jokes and the stories, the carefree embrace,
Leave no room for shadows or sorrow to trace.
For hours, we exist in a bright, vivid hue,
Two lives intersecting, feeling brand new.

But then comes the moment, the quiet goodbye,
A flicker of doubt in the back of my eye.
And as you turn homeward and fade from my sight,
The vibrant world dulls, losing all of its light.

The echo of laughter still rings in the air,
A ghost of the happiness we used to share.
The world grows more silent, the colors grow dim,
Like a lighthouse that flickers and fades at the rim.

The feeling unwinds like a thread wearing thin,
Leaving an absence where you once had been.
The memory is held, a comfort, a pain,
While waiting for the moment to be bright again.

I thought of you today and shed a tear
remembering the poems that we shared
and though at times we fought 'twas always clear
that in the end the two of us still cared

the Soup at times can be a fickle beast
not always sure who is a friend or clown
and though attacks and insults rarely ceased
we had each other's back when one felt down

the ache inside is deeper than you know
your absence like a tree without a nest
so many years and then you had to go
to some of us you simply were the best

here's hoping there's a grandiose return
for in our hearts your poetry still burns

paradox

I felt very distant from you,
But I couldn't be remote from you,
Why? I don't know
But this is not comfortable.
But also seeing someone else
Watching you, crushing on you,
I feel jealous, but I shouldn't.
But now, you are in my life,
 I can't change it.
I tried to stop talking to you, but couldn't.
Even if I understand you, I am perplexed.
You seem familiar, even if you are an unfamiliar person.
The world serves no purpose for me.
Your name is what gets me going.
Even if you lie, it feels like the truth.
But it just shouldn't, I am denying this feeling.
I want and need to get over you.
But is it the right thing to do?
