More Than A Soft Toy

To her mum's spanks,
let her cry on your tender shoulder,
oh, soft toy Teddy,

Through all her sleepless nights,
lull her to deep sleep
by her side remain steady.

When the weather burns hot,
soak her sweat away.
When cold wind whispers
let your warmth be ever ready.

Though you are a toy,
be more than that to her,
If you had a tummy
Let her feed you, as if you live.

Though, she dislikes your silver shade,
in the darkest nights,
let your brightness calm her fears.
Throughout her childhood
even for a breath, never leave.

Remain her best friend;
though wordless, speak to her heart,
for only in your comfort she believes.

Such were the tender words of my aunt's sermon,
to my beautiful Eliza,
for she fulfilled each promise
made to Aunty Jane
showering me with nothing but relief.

Joana, here I hand over to you Eliza,
from your grand Aunt to you my niece,
As it guided my childhood,
let it guide yours too.

Keep it clean, take good care of it.
As I hand it over to you,
one day hand it over to your niece too,
a bond of comfort
that will outlive just us two.

this isn't actually about flowers

i'm a small flower
a seed gifted to you by the universe
meant to grow under your care
flourish
people don't like getting seeds
they don't want to plant them
to care for them
to be responsible
they'd rather have a fully grown flower
no work, easy
put water in a vase, leave it to wilt
slowly watching it die
only watching
not interacting
as life slips away
why didn't you try to save me?
i could've been so beautiful
if only you wanted to plant me
help me grow
care
people don't really like getting flowers
flowers die
i died
why am i temporary in everyone's life?

In Every Lifetime

In this lifetime she is a mutt,
Small, Scrappy, sleepy, sweet,
Blinking eyes and gnawing teeth,
I'd know her in every lifetime,

In the one before she was tall,
Aching legs and honeycomb eyes,
Dutifully beautiful, kind, loyal,
A shadow with a wagging tail,

Before that she was white as snow,
Playful, pitiful, pretty, pale,
Sitting on the carpet awaiting my dad,
as I played with her ear and paw,

I didn't meet the one before,
I'm told she was quick, smart,
Like a pistol shot, a starting gun,
rescued, for a good life somewhere new.

I hope, when this lifetime is over,
I will meet each version of her,
Maisie, Lucy, Suki, Bonnie,
And we'll venture into the next one.

Libra

The babies of the fall
The fairest of them all
They live to weigh the scales
‘Cause “Justice will prevail”

They’re social butterflies
Personalities full of charm
Their smiles, you’ll memorize
“They’re sweet so what’s the harm?”

They love beautiful things
They’re into casual flings
But these ones tend to cling
Like an angel to its wings

These lovers are the sweetest
They’ll take your heart to Venus
They can also be the meanest
‘Cause kindness ain’t their weakness

With their lie detecting skills
You’ll be running for the hills
But they’ll treat you like royalty
If they know you’ve got loyalty

They’ve got the gift of gab
Their heart is up for grabs
They’re romantic to the core
They’ll leave you wanting more

She lives far on a distant shore
That woman I will never meet
The one I love and adore
It makes my heart skip a beat.

Charismatic, Charming and class
Warm, caring, full of love
Beautiful features like fine crystal glass
A special person sent from heaven above

Water of the Bay

What is the water of the Bay?
Is it the water that gives life to others?
Is it more than that?

As I look from atop the mountain I see beauty in the bay.
The water around her feet makes her seem like she is walking across the waterline.
As she sings with no one around I hear beauty in her voice.
If only she knew that she had beauty in voice, heart, and vision.

At least I know the truth of her love as I can see the vision of perfection.
Of course, my vision of perfection is when the person does not see themselves as more than humble.
That is the concept of true beauty when they realize that the quality of being humble is beautiful. It is only one concept, but it is the most important.
It is Destiny as her voice sings it proudly!

A Broken Piece

I know I messed things up
But you chose to be in a slump
You had the chance to show up
When I needed you to pick me up
But you chose to break me up

I gave all of me
You have only seen the dim of me
Ignored the worth of me
You were clearly a mistake of me

Rainbows smile is truly colourful
Dreams are wonderful
Which only makes you an utter fool
But The Choice is pitiful

Constellation is beautiful from far
You can never be one of the star
You can’t even be at par
That feels bizarre

I am a broken piece
Gathers every shattered piece
Wandering for mental peace

Premium MemberA Perfect Moment, Created By Joe And Mystic

Never had I heard a flutter so clear!
nor more distinct than the settle of midnight wings;
                    Soft gray wings spreading, fanning
coming to gentle fold,
soon to follow, a nightingale's song,
                           lilting the air.
Such a blessed union is rare!
Light and dark shadows tranquilly sharing space
One perfect moment seemingly forgiving,
as gentle as the harmonious embrace,
                          of bird and sky !

Never have I felt so powerful against the night !
no more indefinite than a feather in the wind.
My heart beating slow as time
comes to a standstill before the soft caress
                     of a nightingale in flight!
Chiaroscuro moments on the soul
oh how I wish that I had wings
to fly and meet him in mid air....
never had I heard a flutter so clear nor a song
                         so very dear to me...

The End.

A creation by Joe and Mystic
I give thanks to the man who began this venture
and gave me a chance to fly with it lol

Pretty
Is a concept
You'll never
Understand

If you think
I see you
Through endeavours
Of the hand

I love
You make the effort
Appreciate
Your style

I love you
Past the surface
Just deeper
All the while

You paint
Just like a rainbow
With hues and shades
And stuff

Yet beautiful
Has found you
Already
You're enough

Beautiful Eyes

In the hush of dawn when the world is still,
Your eyes awaken the sky with a thrill.
Like twin galaxies lost in a lover's gaze,
They hold the stars in a smoky haze.

Not just mirrors, but portals to soul,
Where silence whispers and dreams unroll.
They speak the words your lips leave behind,
In languages only the heart can find.

In storm or sun, they never disguise
The truth that rests in your beautiful eyes.
Warm like twilight, sharp like flame—
Once they look, you're never the same.

They’ve seen the tears, the laughs, the lies,
But still shine pure—those beautiful eyes.
A thousand poems, a thousand tries,
Still can’t capture their soft sunrise.

So let me drown, no need to save—
In eyes that heal, in eyes that crave.
The world may blur, but I’ll memorize
The universe held in your beautiful eyes.

Theatre

Theatre

Something happens I can't explain
It feels enclosed quite like a train
Within its wall you are truly set free
To be yourself or who you want to be It's like, let's pretend, or dressing up
Childlike feelings, they fill your cup
Escaping, distracting the daily grind
You can leave your worries all behind
Rehearsing, sets and stage lights
The anticipation of opening nights
A team feeling for those not so sporty
Rare chance for adults to act naughty
A sense of purpose shared with all
Commitment, a time to stand up tall
Drama, thriller, it is always a farce
Mischief and tears, acting an ****
If you act with respect to all around
A home from home is easily found
In our theatres, dreams come true
This beautiful place is open to you.

Premium MemberCan't you see it

You're more than just important,
You're irreplaceable!
Your presence has woven the most beautiful web of protection,
Filled with self-doubt
And covered with a dull sheen of fear.
I see you,
I see the real you,
Not the one we all see at a glance
Nor the one that feeds the image from the mind.
I see the beautiful shades of color
Radiant hues of emotions that surpass
Even the most beautiful sunrise.
You are more than just important,
You are
Irreplaceable!

A whole pizza but a slice

Maternal never came natural to you
But laugh we did, crazy things you would do,
You caused so much angst, guilt and tension,
But my mother you were, with your fair complexion,
Years went by and we muddled along more
My tears mostly dry, almost closed the door
Beautiful you were I see this all now,
Wish you could see me, and express your pride how
I'm happy and safe, Ed is my rock.
Wish you could meet my friends, my eddy, my flock
Think of you often, today is your day
So I'll bid you goodnight, one thing left to say
Your beauty is famed, your legend is known
I'll see you one day, when I am full grown

Fantasizing in hypotheticals

The definition of a mystery is what lies behind that beautiful smile.
 A beautiful brilliance, fluttering eyes.
I could lay to rest any misconceptions,
well at least at the depths of a stranger's glare.
What's to come of two people separated by a wall of emotion.
Lost in pages of unspoken words subtlety lingering,
fantasying in hypotheticals. Confronting conflicts that would only aid in the chocking off of any ambitions.
This is the game of attraction. An awkward exchange of words,
 ideas that form thoughts.
You held my attention from the beginning,
with just a simple hello, acts of kindness.
