Versatile friendship and relationship

All my life, I witnessed many times,

People walked into my life,

Quickly we shared our soul and mind,

Then, for one reason or another

They eventually disappeared.

Some abruptly and left me with wonder,

Some with excuses and left without a trace.

Others just not interested and gone for ever.

It took me almost one year,

To let BB goes without a closure.

The way JC come and leave,

Triggered me emotionally upset.

JN on the other hand,

This was the second time,

She repeatedly made false promises,

Despite I asked her to focus.

Make no mistakes nor errors.

She just did not listen,

Bad things kept on happened,

Led me to make decision,

Our friendship must end.

It was quite ashamed,

The way the relationships came and went.

Girls Night Out

Just to get away from the pressures of the day
Being able to cry, and vent
our problems away
Talking about things that's only understood by each other
Every talk we have takes the friendship a little further
We can always be ourselves because we know each other well
We relate our deepest secrets because neither of us will tell
Music moments are the best because we share the same song
Finding solutions to each problem as we help each other along
When it comes to eating out or going shopping we never go dutch
If one is broke the other pays to show we love each other that much
Through thick and thin, broke and paid or when we have enough
We always cherish these moments especially when the times get tough

Morgwen

friends that were born under the stars
one in noble family and another in the lowly class
Morgana as in the royal family of Camelot
and Gwen in the lowly ones in outskirts of capital
she never once looked down on her
treated her as a sister, a friend to kill someone for

fate always shows its fangs when the time is right
illegitimate daughter of the king and a witch in disguise
her biggest crime was to be born in that family
who hunts the magic worshipers, calling their existence a crime
to survive one must layout their plans carefully
so did she and planned to kill the father and beloved brother Arthur

who shall Gwen respond to?
Is it the cries on the outskirts of their friendship?
or be a sword for the man she is in love with
A wife to the prince of Camelot
so she made a quick assessment
defied all her relationship with Morgana
and stood in the court of justice to defend her husband

I'm on the wrong ship

I think I'm starting to realize something.
I'm on the wrong ship,
I guess i didn't think things through
when I came on this trip,
I thought that we had made a bond
love at first sight,
I went to her house, that same day,
was there all night,
When I left I whispered in her ear.
I love you. I felt her body tense
That's why I don't understand this
and why it don't make sense.,
I called her later on that day
She didn't answer her phone,
All that would go through my mind
Was if she was there alone.
That night, I couldn't get much sleep,
Too much was on my mind,
At one point through that lonely night
I caught myself crying,
That morning, I jumped in my car.
And went to her, place,
i knocked and when she opened the door
she slapped me in the face,
How dare you just to show up here
And sending me those texts,
I don't know what you thought about last night.
But to me it was just sex,
Sometimes I just need to release. It's called companionship.
I wanted a relationship I'm sorry
I was on the wrong ship

Breaking the Societal Norm

A delicate dance, a subtle sway,
Expectations woven, in a societal way.
A woman waits, with passive gaze,
For a man to lead, with financial ways.

He pays the bill, the ring, the wedding fee,
The provider role, a lifelong decree.
She expects support, for herself and her kin,
A one-way street, where love may give in.

But some women defy, these norms so grand,
Contributing equally, hand in hand.
A true test of love, a gesture so fine,
When she invests, with a loving design.

Yet, in the courts, a different tale unfolds,
Assets divided, with a legal hold.
A woman shaped, by societal might,
To contribute little, in the dark of night.

A partner, not a burden, we must seek,
Emotionally and financially, a bond unique.
Let's break the mold, and redefine love's role,
A mutual journey, with a balanced soul.

You call me by my name, too intentional
I gather all the courage to think more rational
You always held me when I’m available
But truly who am I, for you negotiable?

Your time is priceless, I cannot bargain
Mine is typical, but I can always sustain
I never asked for more than everything
Just be part of yourself, I can do anything

I hugged you at the worst of your moment
You hold me, when nothing seems permanent
You showed me that I am not a rebound
But you cannot show it when people are around

Stay with me be part of my world
With you I can be brave, I can break the stronghold
Let me know what you really want to keep
Our friendship, relationship, or just situationship?

Yes, there are times now and again
I'll look back and remember when
you were mine for a little while;
you always could make me smile.
You were my Fabio straight off the cover
of the romance novel I read over and over.
Our love was so strong, it was a natural high;
the kind that's guaranteed never to die.
But just like my book, it came to an end,
And we just couldn't get it back again.
No matter that it broke my heart,
it was too late; we had to part.
I'd never had to make it on my own;
but I soon found I liked being alone.
Though there was no more you and me,
I wasn't looking for someone to see.
I mean, come on, I couldn't replace you!
Now of course, we know that's not true.
But things aren't like they were before;
I'm not that same girl anymore.
Last time we talked, it wasn't the same;
no butterflies when you said my name.
I couldn't think of anything to say,
and I'm pretty sure you felt the same way.
Still somehow we've managed to stay friends.
At least that's something that'll never end.
And yes, dear Ronny, every once in a while,
you're still able to make me smile!

THE LIE

Tell me your secrets,
I’ll tell you mine.
Don’t tell me lies,
We’ll get along fine.
The past is behind us,
The present is now.
That we can be friends
Is amusing somehow.
So tell her your secret
And tell her your lie.
What she doesn’t know
Is the road to goodbye.

Soulful friendship

A friendship is a bond...
A deeper connection of two souls...
A person who is always there to answer a call
Support, listen and advice
A shoulder to cry on...
There to lean on...

A friendship means continuous unconditional love, support, laughter and memories...

Most of all... accept you just as you are.

A journey not to walk alone.

Premium MemberLove Looks With The Mind

There must be
a meeting of personalities,
a synchronization of Souls,
lots of the same ground
for 2 people
to become a couple
Love doesn't mesh
with the eyes
but with the mind.
Intelligence is the key
You must have
common interests, likes
Nowadays even
political views to
avoid discrepancies
making the relationship
go smooth, effortless
Not to say that
attractiveness doesn't matter
but is a part of a
combination of the whole

Premium MemberWhen Friends Become Best Friends

So you want me to call you my best friend
Will you weather storms with me until the bitter end
Will i be able to call you in the middle of the night
Will you forgive me after we've had a very big fight
Will you understand me when others just can't
Will you listen to me when i rave and rant
Will you take care of me when I'm unable
Will you cultivate this friendship keeping it stable
Will you be honest with me and tell me when I'm wrong
Will you help me when I'm weak and push me to be strong
Just being a friend alone much work needs to be done
To be called a "Best Friend" isn't a label just for anyone.

Premium MemberLost in Translation

in a strange foreign land
lone outsider
waiting on the sidelines
stumbles upon friendship
and finds comfort
soul to soul

securing a safety net
experiences the freedom to let loose
to laugh and share the freedom to be free
within confines set by the heart
indelibly forging a lasting memory
to take home and treasure always

I want to hold your hand

Inspired by The Beatles' song
"I want to hold your hand"
.......................
A lot still in my mind to say,
For you to understand, I pray.
See! Close to you I firmly stand,
But first, "I want to hold your hand".
As I pour out what’s in my mind,
Please let our hearts become aligned.
Let words flow with joy and with glee.
Say it out loud: you'll allow me.

you're playing with a line that must not be crossed
lest it will irreversibly ruin friendship as we know it
