…a monarch butterfly’s
silently
fast fluttering wings
flickering shadows
 breaking
       sunbeams…

 Fluttering hearts enter passion's realm
Floating on wings in blissful flight
As leaves rustle on slender elm
 Fluttering hearts enter passion's realm
 Passion's fire seems to overwhelm
Yet in its glow they find delight
 Fluttering hearts enter passion's realm
Floating on wings in blissful flight

The barren stem in my heart, seeks a rose
That enlivened thus, we feel how love grows
Come dear one, let’s take a chance
     Without touching, we will dance
It matters not to me, if your slip shows

Premium Member Fluttering in Moonlight

Their fluttering starts in moonlight
When Luna reaches zenith height
She croons as butterflies take flight
Magical night Magical night

I was in awe without askance
Mesmerized as if in a trance
A cotillion of circumstance
Butterflies dance Butterflies dance

On nights when the golden moon sings
They flit in nocturnal musings
What pleasure to me their waltz brings
On velvet wings On velvet wings

What a delightful sight to see
When they whirl with grand revelry
Dancing with such joyful esprit
In front of me In front of me

It's a garden party soiree
Beneath the moon and stars they sway
A charming celestial ballet
Then fly away Then fly away

The fluttering of wings brings so much joy
when I awake each day to watch the show.
Excitedly, birds come to find the feast
that happily appears for them to share.

There at my sunroom window, it's such fun
as I watch wings start fluttering around
and hover till they find an empty spot
to land inside the see-through feeder space.

Beside the window, very close I see
a mix of sparrows, cardinals, and wrens
all patiently await with fluttered wings-
and give each species time to feed alone.

The eating space holds only two or three-
and mating couples share the space as pairs.
But still, some flutter over top to show
they're next in line to start as others leave.

But there's a thief that frightens them away!
When Blue Jay flies in close, the panic starts;
a cloud of fluttered wings takes off in flight!
When he is gone- they circle back again.

Aware their pleasures are so simply met
by coming to my feeder every day-
this morning ritual for me becomes-
a joy that thrills my heart to flutter too!

Sitruc's inserted pacemaker was working like a champ.
The aspirin was provided to assist with the fluttering.
Unfortunately, the aspirin was not stopping the fluttering.

His doctor suggested a med that seemed complicated to
Sitruc, who declined his doctor's offer for a different medication.
His doctor said that the fluttering could cause a stroke.

Sitruc was not desiring to be a candidate for a stroke,
but he reasoned that "Sometimes, none of our choices are
without questions. Many times, all our political candidates
are the wrong ones. God's sovereignty disallows us space
owned exclusively by Him. As a result, there is a divine space
forbidden for us to enter. Oftentimes, there is beauty and
a beast in the navigation of our lives".

I think that Sitruc's words speak wisdom to many of us. There
truly is no life without risk, and for now, Sitruc chooses to live
with fluttering.

Spring
 invites
 butterflies
 to sup nectar
 from fragrant flowers
 and dance among the blooms,
 fluttering in verdant fields,
 spreading kisses along the way
riding on the rhythm of gentle breeze
in a gleeful dance celebrating spring

years and years have gone by…
all the tiny fragments of life blended in coherence
when I met my first love again in the lustre of twilight sunset,
beside the ancient dock with grey planks,
my heart fluttering, probably his too.

The champagne rays of sun surrounding our existence,
glimmering with a gorgeous glow,
We remembered what we lost!
As if this is our first, and last - no tomorrow!

I remembered picking of the sprawled jasmine flower-buds at dawn,
with pearls of dew still glinting on them,
remembered the necklaces made,
priceless than of glistening diamonds.

remembered getting drenched with occasional drizzle of rain -
like waves of music caressing our hearts,
when we savoured the ambrosial togetherness.
We remembered the long walks holding hands,
yearning spreading the electrifying hues of our dream,
As if we would never let each other go!

After years and years,
our eyes meet in the shimmering light of dusk,
I see our hearts glow in the twilight hours,
drowned in the same enthralling light,
encompassed  by the same engulfing trance,
And once again our fluttering hearts melt
in the cascade of love!

Butterflies fluttering in the air,
A ballet of beauty, beyond compare,
A silent marvel, humming a song in flight,
Fluttering secrets, painted in the light.

The innocent laughter of a baby, so sweet and light,
A flutter of wonder in love's gentle light.
Giggles from the baby, radiating charm around,
An enchanting sight, love in every fluttering sound.

Lovers' whispers flutter, waves entwine,
Beachside moonlit dance, love's design,
Nightingale sings their unifying tune,
In the moon-kissed night, hearts commune

The fluttering heartbeat, a rhythmic song,
A melody of life, where dreams belong,
In the cocoon of dreams, as they unfurl,
Flutter, dear heart, like a butterfly, swirl.

"It comes to me in childlike dreams,
a peaceful place to run away too." Quote by_ poet

Fluttering in the enchanted garden,
luxuriant foliage unburden.

Serene illuminated by fair hues
of gay sunshine overflowing muse.

Buzzing bees and colorful butterflies,
teasing the lavish flora's pretty eyes.

Flipping, swirling in midair a small fay,
gay pixies lurking so childlike in play.

Labyrinths flight through ivies, trees they fly,
like popcorn popping quickly go awry.

FLUTTERING

Into warm Spring air
The butterfly emerges
Wings spread wide to dry

Colours flash in the sunshine
Bringing beauty to us all

Heart Fluttering Day

In New Jersey
I started meeting David
for many years
once a month
When encountered something important or heartbreaking
couldn't see each other
When we ate at a cheap restaurant
or enjoyed eye shopping
Inexpensive but delicious and full of kindness
We also went to the local pizza store
these are all
no matter what
happy greetings
we spent time with a grateful heart
we parted
hugging with a smile
David never married
lives underground
have few friends
relatives are in Arizona and Alaska
but his blessings are the source of my strength
David couldn't paid for food, shopping, or pizza for 12 years
But we never felt strange
however, Last month
David promised
To listen to my favorite classical music better
to buy a CD player
I ask for a phone call
"David, do you have money?"
David laughs and says "a little bit"
i am happy
David will be happier than I am
Finally, tomorrow is the day.

Fluttering Heart

A heart that beats for only you,
Captivated by all that you do.
Butterflies flutter at the thought,
Of the happiness you have brought.

The way you smile and laugh out loud,
My heart soars high above the clouds.
In your arms, I feel so alive,
With you, I want to spend my life.

Every moment spent by your side,
I feel such joy, it's hard to hide.
You are the one that sets me free,
Forever in love, just you and me.
