The European Street

It is a true beauty
A narrow European street
Lined by aged buildings
Some with tables and chairs
People in love are just staring at each other
Sipping wine and sharing a few kisses
Hundreds of flowers add their colour
Filling the air with their faint scents
And drawing in bees and butterflies
To make the scene a little more perfect

Can It, Aussie Style - Antipodean, Not European

It's enough to make one chunder
there used to be a time Down Under
when fair dinkum the label on the tucker tin
only stated the true blue maker's name
and the Vegemite we'd eat for brekkie contained therein
while not a porky implied mate there's something to hide
with a shonky no responsibility disclaimer
I’m spewin’ cranky as today's focus is on what's not inside
no GMO cholesterol additives gluten calories caffeine nuts
no added colouring sugar preservatives
no artificial sweeteners monounsaturated
no polyunsaturated &/or trans fats
and bloody oath cobber that's not all as I recall
no worries tho' there's also low sodium
not whingeing but one wonders if it's a dodgy admission
there's no bonzer thingo within such as ace nutrition
meanwhile I'll fill my billycan from yon billabong
surrounded by a few emu and a roo or two
as up a gum tree the kookaburra laughingly looks on
there's nothing more I can do so may as well
bung another shrimp on the barbie blow the froth off a few
have one last blast on me didgeridoo Blue and shoot through

European Union

Do you know that European Union
  lies on African division.
As some Africans start tighten their union
There is reduction of illegal productions
and distributions of African natural resources
which pushed the augmentation
of frustrations of some Europeans.
Remember, some Africans rejected neo- colonisation
Which was a new version  of colonisation
That continue to ridicule many black nations
All over the World.
Many black folks must continue with oppositions,
Opposing  all sorts of oppression as majority victims
of many atrocities  on the planet earth from centuries.
Remember, It is not crime to continue to speak truths
about wrong things in the World.
It is always good for some people to claim their rights
whenever they are abused.
find it easy,
when millions of black people are rising peacefully
because they are marginalised globally.
The world was made for all races
to live peacefully.
If fifty four African countries move freely
It is the victory of all marginalised nations.

Ze French, they are haughty

Scythian Dawn

(Written through the eyes of a 6th century B. C. era Scythian warrior poet)

wind o wind o wind!

wind o wind whichs cleaves
the steppe in dire stagnation

eternal is the ride,
endless, the expanse

forever is the arrow
and the still air it slices
has no end to it either

below the ever-great sun-disc
we tremble
like hearts in lover-chests

half human, half stallion
hoof and hand, neigh and bow

into everlasting cold
echoing
aryan ancestry
from back centuries or even millenia

into ever-hinterlands
where slint-eyeds
and blue-eyeds
and brown-eyeds live
the steppe-nation spreads
like eagles soar
or how wolves migrate

Four score, nothing there

Ukraine lost the Roman hosted sporting affair

Back in London Boris raises a Saturday pint

Proclaiming success on this summer’s night

Soon the red, white boys will be coming home

Right now, Wembly is dark and alone

Waiting for Tuesday’s Spanish Inquisition

Italy goalers planning their position

But as for the Danes

Wednesday is their game

A fairy tale

Against the old guard writing the daily mail

No reason to complain

Dickens and Anderson will be talked about noting societal fame

UK will put up their best

Defending a modern-day stadium nest

While those from Denmark

Will be able to hark

Under the lights in the evening’s dark

Hollering Christian ‘we love you’

While turning Nordic Leif on Erikson too

A protagonist inside the sports book pages

Hero to those counting wages

 British need to hold serve

To get what they deserve

A trip to the Championship round

And a trophy worthy of a couple pounds

Giving to the victor who wins it all

Competing in UEFA European futbol

Scottish Wildcats

Scottish Wildcats are listed as, critically endangered
Once found throughout Britain, now only found in northwest Scotland
living in wooded areas, near the edges of forests and shrublands
and the Scottish Wildcat is a subspecies, of the European Wildcat

Domestic cats pose a great threat, for these Scottish Wildcats
as there are very few genetically pure populations left, of this Wildcat
and deforestation has left them confined, to the Scottish Highlands
and snares and traps are have accounted for many of their deaths

I used to be German of true Prussian decent

These days I am European to my content

Travel without passport for thousands of miles

Meet people of all kinds who offer their smiles

Am free to live work and enjoy in 27 countries

Which is how it should be and is rather funky

No customs control no one inspects my trunk

Whether I seem established or look like a punk

Don’t need traveller’s checks or money conversion

Use what little Euros I have on all my excursions

Journeys are user friendly for the average folks

Just think what supreme liberation that invokes

One extra bonus if you want to voyage up to an old age

These days we are not fighting wars and hostile rampage

We may happily live and not die for some sort of madness

Ideology foreign conquest or industrial military apparatus

The EU brought decades of Peace to a once belligerent place

‘No ... Sherlock’ to understand that we are one human race

Premium Member Indisputably European

You always eat a sandwich with a knife and a fork
You don't think of bacon when you think of pork
You'd likely drop dead from mayonnaise on bread
You'd rather drink wine than beer with a head

You take off your shoes when you enter a house
You don't hug and kiss women in front of your spouse
You sport a clean handkerchief up near the top of your suit
You sport galoshes in the rain instead of shoe boots

You hail from a country that's indisputably European

The European Pagan

Turning from Christ

to disbelief;

as Satan confronts

the death

and hell…

Its expression

withering

the self and

its culture.

The suicidal genocide—

a gesture

in guilt's name

for stewardship's misdeeds:

Evil

in its self

Judgement.

The European Queen Victoria

I am the queen of geography
I deserve a trophy
I am the best
better than the rest
this is why I am the queen

In Turkey I swim I skinny dip in the lake
eating some cake
because I am the queen
during my rule ,
I want to grow a forest of baobabs
for Leanne's dads

they call me vanesso
cause I am the besto
and I like pesto
sound
later peace out xoxoxoxoxox

European Holiday

octave of forty words

Forty years - man and wife
long time friends celebrate life
on holiday, pure pleasure bound
four couples, eight countries found.
City ruins, castles, churches, canals,
lots of leisure, legendary locales,
river bends and mountain peaks,
whirlwind journey, two short weeks.

European Vacation

There once was a man from Rome

who's head was shinny like chrome

gave the world spiritual hope

was given the title of Pope

now he wears a hat like that of a gnome

~*~

There once was a girl that lived in Brussels

who married a man, now they're the Russell's

she was kind of a geek

he was more than weak

she with no brains him without muscles

~*~

There once was a girl from France

who danced on stage with no pants

she showed off her tush

but never her bush

she left the crowd in a trance
