Delegated Poems

Premium MemberA personal God

From the unmanifest all worlds arose,
with control delegated to a god,
who whilst shape shifting, can strike any pose,
to which heart feels drawn in mind-body pod,
that pure wisdom and power in us grows,
enabled upon giving love our nod.
The gods we believe in are everywhere,
so form or formless, as of free will pair.

God being the all, dwells in every form
and made in His image, we are as He
but the form we speak of is a bliss storm,
eternal living light, soul’s eye can see,
once touched by kundalini’s currents warm,
whereupon beyond concepts, we just Be.
Our being-ness thus, entwined with the all,
is complete freedom, our soul does recall.

At the crossroads, paths of seekers divide,
with a personal God, the choice for most,
whilst a few souls in the void wingless glide,
to freedom absolute as they so coast,
they find the highest God in heart inside.
Whatever be our path, first and foremost,
to be self-taught, we must first slow down thought,
reducing all fears and desires to naught.

Zzzz

Having counted wooly sheep
was woken from a deep delta sleep
in the middle of the night
thought I'd heard a pig snort
but no that can't be right
tho' kicked out of bed
and landing on my head
knew where I stood
for delegated to the floor
then relegated to the room next door
when in no uncertain terms she said,
'You're sawing wood, you snore!'

Not as such a silk purse,
but a sow's ear would be worse.
Not so much a pig in a poke
(jiggery-pokery),
more a poke at a pig in a joke
(piggery-jokery).
All in all,
Sy-hokery!

Street Souls

How did he, she, they, and them come to be?
Diminished, reduced, and ignored in society

Relegated or maybe delegated to busy city streets and desolate byways
Street souls somberly paint landscapes with a myriad of overlays

Barely decent soles or none at all to cover these souls' feet
Yet a daily trample on sordid sidewalks and weather-beaten streets

Cold nights meet cold stares in daytime
Oftentimes the human cord is disjointed and can be so
unkind

How did he, she, they, and them come to be?
No one knows but compassion and love
should be the reality

He goes with ego
Many go with him
Those without ego,
Patience is wearing thin

He is a traitor,
It is clear to see
He is a dictator
His favourite word is ME

He isn't concerned
About others, only self
How did he become President
Why? Of course, for pelf.

Power and greed
Is all that interests him
When is he going to pay
For the betrayal and sin,

He has caused, without a qualm,
When will he be punished?
For all the heartbreak and harm
He has instigated,

And delegated to others,
Who are not in a position to refuse
To fight their fellow brothers,
In a WORLD WAR,

How much farther can he go?
Before he understands the word NO
And has to succumb,
To the rule of thumb.

And pay for his misdeeds,
Before it is too late.
How can anyone be in Power for so long?
While doing wrong,

For goodness sake, please GO.
And take your EGO with you,
I am afraid you will GROW
Stronger like a virus

And it would be outrageous,
If we all become contagious.

Premium MemberCome the Snow

It was an early Christmas present
I was so anxious to give it to him
It was so soft and luxurious
I thought how it would keep him warm
With the winter months ahead
Turned out he didn’t need it
He never saw one flake of snow that year
No more walks across the fields
To his creek over the bridge he built
To the cabin with his woodstove
Where he’d percolate fresh coffee
And toast bread on its hot surface
In a flash it was all delegated to a distant past
How I would treasure that snapped photo
Of my father’s precious smile
As he tried on his new fur hunting hat

Live, Don’t Exist
Written: by Miracle Man

Sometimes due to age,
I’ve found others to be officious.
In refusing their help,
my refusal is capricious.

Help causes me to feel,
I’ve been delegated to the shelf.
And as long as I’m able,
I like doing things myself.

I’d prefer not answering daily,
just how it is I feel.
My new norm is never good,
so I take my days piecemeal.

Sometimes I feel others,
My condition may amplify.
I appreciate concerned friends,
But want to live until I die.*

*Ecclesiastes 7:17
“Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?”

Less Than Human

Two thousand years ago Robot John came by
As a gift from mom and pop at Christmas
Wrapped in orange paper made in Russia
Signed “Peace and Love Forever” Santa

The android stood as tall as life with flashing lights
Big blue eyes that never blinked or cried
It posed a million questions in need of answers
Programmed by parents bent on my happiness

Robot John would be my friend forever playing
Protecting me from bullies and enemies alike
Teaching me to speak in several languages at a time
It seemed like fun and games would never stop

How wrong was I for dreaming such a fantasy?
As I grew older the robot took control of things
It beat me every day for pleasure
Using logic and a piece of wood for my own good

Mom and dad did not believe in punishment
They delegated that to Mr. Robot friend
If only I could find the turn off switch
So I could dismantle him

Premium MemberMy Authority

MY AUTHORITY

Would that they knew the Great I Am,
Boldly there as there is sky,
It is my Father I'm speaking of,
not so much as I.

If only they knew who’s that I am,
by delegated authority,
Not that it's vital that I am known,
than the greater One in me.

By victory wrought on my behalf,
by His own divinity,
His precious blood on mercy seat,
my blood bought victory.

How is it now that I am meek?
With such power within me sown,
It is His glory that I seek,
and no glory of my own.

T'is not my strengths that I delight,
No earthly place of fame,
But that in glory am I heard of,
that heaven knows my name.

It's for this authority, I can rejoice,
Not your typical close, "The End"
In the back of the book, the end of story goes,
Satan's defeated, and I win!

Holy Cow

Pray? But then, round and round and round..
Why can't it be done now,
Perhaps hum the incantation sound
And dance around the holy cow.

A lot of stars in a constellation
Perhaps one of them could bless a vow
Perhaps you could avoid damnation
If it's delegated to a holy sow.

So place the flowers and ornaments
Around the hooves of the holy cow
To be noticed of your moral torments,
Sing, dance, by compunction do bow
The least you can absolutely do:
Be polite when your sins are under review.

May the forest be rich for your office
Perhaps hang a picture of the holy cow
If luck favors the brave, then kiss the orifice,
I'm damned because I don't know how!

Underlings Winging Wearing Wungspans Walk Wow

Pedestals' can be alternated to be giant squid and often a leopard can be seated upon such a throne. Oh such worldwide wisdom of a very smartly dressed frog. In a purple suit. With a black tie and a cap. Clap clap clap then. Applaud the chess game. Silver tongued tiger often dives dramatically and a square can sing a great aria. Arising from the monuments is a delegated fish. Whose patterns are akin to buckets. Wow. Wisdom of a big fat squirrel. Whose pie eating causes waist expansion. Hahahaha xx and a number three in a dress xx hahahaha and hope lots of lollipops join a gym *** it is never wise to seek out a double domestic dome in a bed. With or without beading. *** hahaha. *** antidisestablishmentarianism *** ha. Fishcakes z.

Daily Damaging Days

DAILy DEMAGING DAYS

Dying days dances dearly,
Destroying deleted determined details.
Distill distraction display devoid,
Defiant development drives devalue days.
Dial up diamond depressed diary.
Diabolical destroy dethroned desires.
Designed dependable desires dialogue
Demonstrate defined deliverance.
Draft daily demaging days,
Dare delect day dreaming data
Dazzling death-toll debtors deceives
Debatable decency decision declared
Dedicate depression delegated delightfully.

To Ol' Clocks

That old clock on the mantle
That measured the moments
Of so many mortals
Enmeshed in mere time

Now dusty and disregarded
Disdained and discarded
No longer the master
Nor server of time

One could offer that it’s
Time has passed
That it can no longer proffer
The measure of time

That it no longer dictates
A definitive number
When to rise or to slumber
Gives no longer life reason or rhyme

The clockworks have stilled
The hours no longer chime
Gears no longer mesh
Nor it’s hands tell the time

It’s an anachronism now
Lost in time somehow
Relegated, delegated, exiled,
To the trash pile of time

It sits alone, quite content with the fact
That it’s exactly right….twice a day
And that’s much , much more
Than most people can say

…at least most of the time…

Permutations of the Day

Permutations Of The Day

Ordered, arranged, delegated, are the exhortations of the day
Orange, red, and the yellows wonder out of orbit
Round out the sun to give it colors
Bursting parameters of circles

Gray, charcoal, born blue, become the rain
This day rolls in thin with a hint of mist
Determined to hold back the tears in clouds
In light of pure perplexity it retains a heavy burden

The sky will open when in the mood
Cry when clouds become too much to handle
Fade in silence that remains in natural selection queues
In the permutations of the day

The wheel has turned
full circle. In just
Seventy years home
delivery is back..just
as before

One delivery, instead
of the many.Back
it is true but sad to
say….not really
as before

Whither the ‘mongers,
butcher and baker upto
the back door. Gone forever
home sevice, is no more
no, certainly , not as before

The personal touch
delegated to another..
lost.. lost ..and no more..
Regression not progress
…to be sure

Fundamental Justice

The lawyer-witches
watch over the villages.
Each an agent
delegated by a different god.

(One boy threatens another
boasting that his father
would beat the other's up)

On behalf of their clients,
the witches dance about the courthouse,
legal argument
for the distant and silent heaven-dwellers
who stand by to witness.

Such is justice
in noisy paradise,
always dangerous
from bugs, tigers
and war.
