clock late wait sleep tight
A profound sense of joy enveloped her as she gently kissed his fingertips.
He began to whisper and exhaled softly.
"Captivate me with your gaze. You are my exquisite treasure.
Fulfill the wish of a man in desperate need; all I seek is your presence, you.”
At Christmas, by the fire's gentle glow,
The secrets shared, a whispered, silent flow.
My nephews, bright, with eyes so full of glee,
And my sweet niece, a sight for all to see.
The firelight dances on their youthful faces,
As sticky marshmallows leave their sticky traces.
The scent of chocolate, warm and sweet and deep,
A tapestry of memories to keep.
We toast our smores, a sticky, sweet delight,
As secrets bloom in the warm, festive light.
Of wishes whispered to the falling snow,
And dreams that only Christmas can bestow.
The world outside is sleeping, hushed and white,
But here, within, the fire burns so bright.
And in this haven, safe and warm and low,
The seeds of future secrets start to grow.
So let the embers flicker, red and gold,
As tales of wonder, young and new, unfold.
For in this moment, simple, pure, and true,
A family's bond is born anew.

Reminiscent of a doe
with a hue as rich as earth,
your gaze takes me home
to a cedar-filled hearth.
Welcoming like hot chocolate
and as vibrant as autumn's leaves,
your stare carries the life
that Mother Nature herself weaves.
Neutral, yet expressive—
as versatile as leather, but still so alive—
your eyes are the gemstones
favored by the sun and I alike.
Neon lights twinkle against the velvet, dark skies,
Ferris wheel spins like a huge ring of fireflies;
Shadows sway in the pavement, tents, booths, and crowds,
As bright bulbs bring glare to cotton candy clouds .
Iron tunes from colorful carousel
Equalize clanking ride near the dinging bell;
Laughter listens to chatter screams in delight,
As hush whispers before the ride drops from height.
Sweet smell of chocolate, popcorn, and browned dough
Blends with oil from ride's engine in hot wind's blow;
Jumbo burger melts on the tongue bathed by Coke,
While the air is mixed with words of grease and smoke.
Young ones in a dreamlike world within nighttide
Savor the spot where pain pauses and woes hide.
He was deeply worried,
A problem lay within,
Buried in the depths of his heart,
Countless slaves in his possession.
He wanted to control
All of them, he needed
A unique identity for each.
Suddenly, he struck upon
The idea of a fingerprint.

just for fun...
There once was a bar named Charlie,
whose sweetness was truly quite gnarly.
With a crunch and a snap,
in a candy-filled wrap,
he danced in his package so snarly.
But Charlie, you see, had a flaw.
He'd melt in the sun—oh, the awe!
With chocolatey goo,
he would stick like glue,
leaving candy stuck in one’s jaw.
So when you are craving a treat,
remember, that Charlie's the sweet.
With laughter and fun,
he’s second to none,
chocolate bar that can't beat the heat
Motion-activated caught on camera
while cookies for the kids I was cooking
a collared cat crept into the kitchen
when I stepped outside and wasn't looking
his potty break was well-timed
as, sadly, I'd left the door unlocked
onto the counter by the sink he climbed
bared his butt and crapped in the crock
tho' he gave new meaning
to vanilla chocolate chip
if I ever collar him doing it again
his mangy tail end I'll severely whip
as, if he wants nine lives to live
he'd really best think twice
or he'll sleep with the fishes
(not eat them)
as such behaviour is just not nice
On my plate, I get to taste new things,
Every day—flavors that life brings.
Sometimes it's healthy, sometimes a mess,
At times I bloom, at times—distress.
I feel ruptured, torn apart,
When it’s finally my turn to start.
Oh! The fight between my heart and mind,
Oh! The silence and the violence entwined.
For ease, we chase some clever trick,
Like knowing "ominous" means an "ill omen" quick.
But the peace we find—doesn’t truly stay,
It feels more haunting than lighting our way.
A continuity of emotions, a stream of desire,
We wear them daily—our soul’s attire.
Colors fall and echo a subtle truth:
To win as a learner, not as a brute.
I’ve seen birds fly from morning to dusk,
To feed their young with love—not just as a task.
Struggles can bloom into moments of joy,
If love is the reason, not pressure to deploy.
Jack handed Julie a box of chocolates and launched into a plea for forgiveness.
“I’m SO sorry about that other woman ---”
“TWO women!”
“I’ve changed. I love you. I’ll never cheat again.”
“I forgive you, baby. Let’s have some wine with those chocolates.”
“Hmmm---this wine tastes funny.”

The first chocolate cake you remember-
The one I brought for you...
I baked it with so much love,
Glazed it with dark chocolate,
As dense as my affection for you.
Next morning with a tensed move,
I went up to your place,
Pacing to and fro...
You said with your eyes:
"Keep it on the table."
And then you said you enjoyed it-
Even shared it with friends.
Then came cakes two three four...
They dont exite you anymore.
Though the second one -
You were not ready to share with anyone.
The second last and the last...
Brother's day and bidding goodbye-
I poured in my love,
A little bit more.
Now as you are gone,
I can't bake for you.
But with every cake in the oven,
You peep into my mind.
My heart skips a beat...
Oh my dear Annan loves
cake to eat.
