Motion-activated caught on camera
while cookies for the kids I was cooking
a collared cat crept into the kitchen
when I stepped outside and wasn't looking
his potty break was well-timed
as, sadly, I'd left the door unlocked
onto the counter by the sink he climbed
bared his butt and crapped in the crock
tho' he gave new meaning
to vanilla chocolate chip
if I ever collar him doing it again
his mangy tail end I'll severely whip
as, if he wants nine lives to live
he'd really best think twice
or he'll sleep with the fishes
(not eat them)
as such behaviour is just not nice
Strawberry,
Vanilla,
Banana split
Maybe, I'll have it in a cone, filled with one scoop of triple chocolate chip.
Don’t forget the rainbow sprinkles and cherry sauce that sticks~ Napkins at the ready, for any melting messy drips.
Daddy said my brain would freeze eating far too quick~ i laughed when daddy’s tongue changed colour, from the blue ice lolly he licked
How am I to choose, so many I could pick~ Imagine tasting Each yummy flavour altogether in a dish.
To every day have ice-cream
That would be my wish
Breakfast, lunch and dinner without ever feeling sick.
A new flavour I decided on to try today was this ..
Rocky road with chocolate toppings, shaped like little fish
. I love my daddy, And I love our ice-cream trips.
The lil chocolate chip
Was lost and alone
He just wanted a place
To finally belong
He saw a candy bar
And though it was home
He had to runoff but
Still ends up alone
While he searched around
With tears running down
Lots of chocolate chip steps that
Made him look like a clown
But low and behold
He stumbles across
A beautiful plain cookie
Who made him the boss
I have no basis
for thinking chocolate won't
make me feel better
Unicorns hiding under my big bed, waiting for chocolate chip cookies to be fed. Mom would not understand, unicorns and chocolate chip cookies would be banned.

Chocolate Chip

That gewyness where your palate won’t separate from your tongue.
And once it does, all you want is another one.
It is more addictive than crack doused in ice.
The best you’ve had through your entire life.
There is nothing like it, even with all the drama.
She’s the closest you’ll get to being like Mama.
Shut your mouth, be happy, and enjoy what you get.
Savor the sweet flavor of a chocolate chip.
This is a new twist...
created by me...
of an old favorite recipe...
that you will soon see.
It starts out the same...
as the package will show...
then comes the new stuff...
which I'll let you know.
First change to occur...
has to do with the butter...
you use to need two cubes...
now use only one.
Then add an equal amount of coconut oil...
Isn't this fun!
The next change to occur...
has to do with the flour...
use Rice flour instead...
It will give you new found power.
Power to create with no end in sight...
it may not turn out...
but then again it might.
Let your imagination run wild...
as if you're a child.
Try adding marshmallows or trail mix...
perhaps M-N-M's...
you won't run out of ideas...
cause the list never ends.

When the timer dings
and the oven door opens
everyone smiles
fresh, hot, chocolate chip cookies~
Memories flood the senses
I walk into the house and the scent of cookies makes my tummy excited. I can smell the sweet chocolate chips like it is in my mouth already. I put my purse down and make my way through the kitchen, but first I am stopped by the sweet smell of something unknown. I see candles lit in the living room and take a quick smell. It is a scent of candy canes. It is defintely Christimas time.
I finally make my way into the kitchen and see my family eating chocolate chip cookies. The smell is so good that I can't stop my hand from grabbing the delicious cookies. I then smell the scent of love. The smell of roses with the smell of something unknown. For although, I can't exactly know how love smells I know it smells even better than the smell of freshly backed chocolate chip cookies.
it doesn't take a lot
to make some people happy
a midnight snack of goodies
with that, oh so sweet, cold milk
could be Malomars,Fig Newtons,
or those yummy chocolate covered
Ring-Dings......
just a small sampling of how
sometimes these small wonders
help us deal with bigger things...
my favorite is the milk, perhaps with
a Pepperidge Farm cookie too...
oh, the Gods were so generous
when they created such as these anew,
sometimes I barely remember
the late evening goodie raid
it's the tell-tale chocolate stains
on my pillow, or sheets where I had laid
that brings it back to me
the price that now must be paid
laundry a day earlier than planned,
another diet quickly canned,
how come I can't stand
the thought of my choclate covered hand
so tonight I hope I strand...
those devilishly delicious treats grand
should I tie myself to the bed?
and let an elf get them for me instead?
all right, this sweet talk is now done
say, I wonder about that bear-claw bun......
Fighting for that last chocolate chip cookie
Arguing over the doll you know is yours
Fighting for the front seat in the van
Arguing over who got more frosting on their cake.
Fighting for the allowance neither deserve but they give anyway
Arguing over who started it and who will finish it
Fighting over who saw that cute bag first and who will keep it
Arguing to keep the bag of chocolate she says was actually her’s
Fighting for the armrest in the car
Arguing with “Did not!” and “Did too!”
Fighting over the attention from the grownups.
Arguing over who is really older
Fighting over the CD player she says she has no idea where it went
Arguing and Fighting will never end but the love remains the same
