I AM BROWN
I AM BEAUTIFUL
I AM COCOA
I AM SWEET
I AM WARM
I AM ME
I AM BROWN
I AM FREE
FLOWING OF
COLORFUL HUES
I AM QUITE

INTERNATIONAL POET
Cocoa fingers, choco treats
every bite a crunch
Mid way to my mouth the zing
makes me want to shout !
Taste buds all in flight
here we go,
Sweeeeeeeet !
COCOA
Cocoa drink decadence
Crème de la crème whirl whipped
Cinnamon r e s o n a n c e
Chocolate flavor sipped
Chopped finely semisweet
Carob powder sweetens
Cups up rich tasting treat
There is magic in ...
Sugar and snowflakes,
When wonder does begin
As December awakes
Where this magic comes from
Do we really need to know ...
From first bite to last crumb
O, how we enjoy it, though
These simple, pleasurable things
Dance and mix and melt ...
Upon imaginary wings ...
And with our feelings felt
Comes to us like a dream
These things need not grow up,
Unlike the rising steam ...
From a hot cocoa cup
Wonderful and sweet
A warmer winter makes,
When candy and spice meet
And an oven slowly bakes
There is magic in the air
In crystals can be found,
Within many sugared fare
Or snowflakes on the ground.
Captive of Love: Ode to the Cocoa Bean
Within your humble shell, a treasure lies,
A sea of flavors, rich and deeply sweet.
An exotic dream beneath the skies,
A love affair no other can defeat.
You capture hearts, eternal in your snare,
A bite, and Eden’s garden comes alive.
Surrender to the bliss beyond compare,
A tangy heaven where our dreams survive.
As simple as life, as smooth as soft silk,
I soothe the ache your fleeting lovers leave.
Dark, white, or fruity, nutty, purest milk,
A joy for passion’s night or Christmas Eve.
Am I enslaved, or simply ever fond?
Is this true bondage—or an endless bond?

Let's keep this just between me and you
If the rest of the world only knew
They'd examine my brain
And they might think I'm sane
But my friends all know I'm wackadoo
Like a little fur in my Mexican cocoa said my old grandma
She is not kidding yelled out my ornery Grandpa Pa.
Saw a furry creature sitting in her cocoa cup.
He did not care at all, did not even try to sit up
You want a creature swimming in your food?
Sure do said granny. He puts me in a great mood.
She is crazy! Yelled grandpa, whose name is Joe P. Finn.
And we always thought he was the strange one until then.
black-brown temptations
chocolate coffee, crunch-blends ---
nature in dark pearls
If not for the
bean of Cocoa
Lean I would be
~ ~ but cuckoo
from where i stand
i can not tell
where the blue sky
meets the waves of the ocean
as i sink into the warming sands
fingertips of dripping ice that has frozen
glistening crystals of winter’s hardest snow
hot cocoa for my sledding friends, I need a dozen
reviving ourselves by a fireplace glow
pinkest cheeks awaiting familiar ho ho ho

One Winter
David J Walker
It is a drifter
Named winter
Who never
Keeps promises
One winter
I moved into an igloo
In the front yard
But only for an afternoon until
Mother called us in for hot cocoa
I loved to sled
I loved to stand at the window pain
And watch freezing rain turn to snow
Making me think of sledding
And when I might go
One winter
There was no winter
Only gray days that made you feel cold hateful
There was no snow there was no winter
December is coming
so are the nighttime rides
upon the snow-lined streets
Christmas lights all aglow
dancing with the breeze
children everywhere
their faces full of hope
logs aflame in the fireplace
and hot cocoa in hand
Enjoy the holiday season
What do you think about John?
About talks that he’d soon be gone
For forged papers from a con
That should in USA drop him
And just like that – Kim!
He is A Towering Don!
The sweet life smartly switched on!
A stunt of a speed faster than Sirocco
John from USA ordering cocoa:
Thousands of pods sparing Mexico
And still remaining a financial Iroko..…
Can he, John, for all the taken Guarana
Fulfill the prophecy of false Son of Chenaanah?
