too soon
this moon
day’s chores
some scores
most not
forgot
deplete
need sleep
morning
warning
disarm
alarm
same old
sixfold
more work
can’t shirk
no fun
undone
work sucks
need bucks
It’s all in a day
It’s the only way
Living day by day
They capture the way
Nowhere to go
Life is so slow
Live today
Die today
Death on the street
To live this way is no treat
They live on the street
With disgust they meet
At 14 they kill
that is a bitter pill
They don ‘t care if they spill
Your blood at will.
In the street
They will meet
To kill on the street
Is what they need
To Rape kill and Mame
To them it’s all the same.
If they don’t rape kill and Mame
To them it will be a shame
They will be kicked out by their own
They will die all alone
In a field lying on their back
Dead in a burnt-out shack.
Let's grab a cup of coffee
Sit somewhere and talk
Spend time with each other
Take a little walk
Look into a sunset
Search the starry skies
Whisper that I love you
Stare into your eyes
Kiss under the moonlight
Wrap you in my coat
After? That's between us
It's a good thing we're remote
The beckoning call of Spring,
Fresh flowers seek the sun.
What will the new day bring?
The cycle of life just begun.
Honey bees with task at hand,
Open petals scent the air.
The buzzing sound as they land,
One by one with gentle care.
Mother's milk feeds her young,
A little nudge points the way.
Hungry mouths with eager tongue,
Wrestling for a longer stay.
Searching wings by Robin's breast,
An earthworm for their meat.
Perched on high, a feathered nest;
Open beaks awaiting treat.
Children run for nearby park,
Parents shout as they flee,
Be homeward bound before dark,
Tired limbs return with glee.
Setting sun greets rising moon,
The weary close their eyes.
Vivid dreams are coming soon,
The promise of tomorrow's rise.
A black cloud dangles
Effortlessly forms
A haunting image
Showers travel east
Daisy hides her face.
A Robin sings
A melody
The sun appears
Once more she smiles.
Grass uncoils
Raindrops dry
Web retracts.
Sunset
Moon beam.
Stars.

Once more, the day fades,
into the dusky hues of twilight.
Purple and gray in various shades,
transforms the day, into night.
I sit within the shadows,
deepening as the night grows still.
The last of light follows,
leaving space for darkness to fill.
I reflect upon the events of the day.
Hours of time, that have passed by.
In my mind, I can edit and replay,
the reality, I conveniently deny.
This day just beginning, will soon be gone.
Perhaps upon wings, time does fly.
I reach out, but, I can't hold on.
Time, lost forever, in a neverending sky
ALL IN A DAY
When the moon and the stars are bright,
everything seems to be all right.
We tend to sleep tight through the night.
Although, morning starts after midnight.
For most people, morning starts at dawn;
however, when the sun rises is the norm.
The dark sky may turn from sky blue to azure sky.
The rising sun reflects pinkish hue in the morning sky.
The birds are tweeting or a song bird chirping.
The morning breeze makes the leaves ruffling.
Day light is spent doing daily activities or working,
while the sun continues to mesmerize by glittering
the sea and bringing about magnificent colors of red,
orange, gold as it sets and the vividness is spread.
The evening comes, as daily activities wind down.
Darkness falls welcoming the night, the time to lie down.

All In A Day
All in a day I can feel all types of ways.
Never feeling happy, looking forward to better days.
All in a day I go from one mood to another
Praying to God I’ll always be a great mother
How can this be when he’s taking me down?
Never does he want to fix my frown.
Usually the cause, it’s his words that cut
All in a day many doors open and shut.

All In A Day
They all happened just in a day,
All: birth, going forth, heyday,
Wedding day, D-day, all in a day.
They all happened just – in a day,
For he wanted truth with no delay,
Either it’d bring heyday or D-day —
Sniffing at a one he started his day,
The one that his daddy did slay,
In a duel that happened on highway.
All warned him not to go astray;
He told not to let go this foul-play,
Yet to help him to go headway.
He went headway, straightaway —
While sticking to his quest all day,
And he found the one that did slay
His dad, but it dawned his D-day,
For in him he found that prey —
Who all family bonds did betray.
All these happened, just in a day,
In Sophocles’ well-known – play.

The sunburst sky alluringly captivating,
enthralled eyes open to the splendor of spectrum.
Kaleidoscopic dawn weaves the tapestry of imagery,
defining the contours of the garden path I tread,
and greet the glow of the new day.
The empty canvas creatively inviting,
waiting long for the brushes to gently caress,
but colors flow now with the strokes of ecstasy,
making the stillness come to life as the hues I infuse,
and shape the scene of the new day.
The awakened muse intensely inspiring,
unfurls the buds of dormant imagination.
The petals of words design the blooming poems,
emotive cadence flows from rhythm of the heart,
and cascades on the course of the new day.
The drizzle of dusk silently engrossing,
sprinkles twilight gleam on the vase of satiation,
the bouquet of sunlit hours glitters with patina of joy.
I count the sprouting stars as the mesmeric night falls,
and make my dreams of the new day.

all in a day
the day
that my life began
was the day
I met my fate
for on that date
she walked
out of my dreams
into my life
became my wife
my iife began again
all in a day
Cleaning
The house
Cooking
For her family
All in one day
Standing
For hours
Never
Getting a break
All in one day
The life of a mom
is hectic, sure,
But all for one day
Ceaseless demands
each one a folly
To which I respond
my answers jolly
Lesson time
Minds are weary
Endless chopping
Meals so healthy
Shopping ordered
Food a plenty
Excursion time
To burn the energy
Fall from tree
call emergency
Lost child
Panic temporary
Sibling bickering
I Chide impatiently
Bath time soon
Wet and slippery
Brushing teeth
No help from me
Each to sleep,
Cuddling frenzy
Stealthily creep
To bed with mummy
Waking together
Hour so early
Getting dressed
Uniform ready
Breakfast now
Clothes grubby
An hour to spare
Time to go crazy
I love to join in
Childish levity
Forget the time
Need to be hasty
Unbrushed hair
That’s got sticky
Scramble for bags
For each activity
Unkempt they go
To school so happy.
T`was all in a day, but a day long gone.
Though in that house
Shadows of our former selves,
Forever shall live on.

Just like a winding river,
blue notes trickle down
and streams along the ocean
where they were heard all around
unique each in their tempo
sailing in a whirl of life's dance;
with distinct flow in sweet motion
to be adorned as one long song
Still a rhapsody has its fading
as with a prelude there must be an end,
like seasons with ellipses that pause
only to open new lilts of fresh cycle;
my passages turning into another tune
awaiting the chances of a river's
journey...all in a day.

As the heart are now wailing
Left without saying good bye
Loneliness eat every inch of my body
If you only knew
Nothing can make me forget
After that you decided to go
Don’t know what to do
and it scares me half to death
Young love does not go out of date
