All In a Day

Cleaning
The house
Cooking
For her family
All in one day

Standing
For hours
Never
Getting a break
All in one day

The life of a mom
is hectic, sure,
But all for one day

All In a Day

all in a day

the day
that my life began
was the day
I met my fate

for on that date
she walked
out of my dreams

into my life
became my wife
my iife began again
all in a day

too soon
this moon

day’s chores
some scores

most not
forgot

deplete
need sleep

morning
warning

disarm
alarm

same old
sixfold

more work
can’t shirk

no fun
undone

work sucks
need bucks

Omar Khayyam

If a loath of bread is all In a day

What lies of the village the nun

Among the keeper words well

While intense of the spirit

Enhance of the vision to

Know less but to know more just

Just of the thought of day.

Precious Seconds

86400 precious to seconds in a day
It's stupidity to while them away
Much can be done in a single day
If lived in a wise and judicious way

A black cloud dangles
Effortlessly forms
A haunting image
Showers travel east
Daisy hides her face.

A Robin sings
A melody
The sun appears
Once more she smiles.

Grass uncoils
Raindrops dry
Web retracts.

Sunset
Moon beam.

Stars.

Let's grab a cup of coffee
Sit somewhere and talk
Spend time with each other
Take a little walk
Look into a sunset
Search the starry skies
Whisper that I love you
Stare into your eyes
Kiss under the moonlight
Wrap you in my coat
After? That's between us
It's a good thing we're remote

let me toss and turn in poetic thoughts, as words twist through countless breaths and mingle across cotton candy clouds . . - it's all in a day of poetry, my sweet butterfly -

Life Today

Life is like a dream...
in which some win and some scream !

You can be what you want to be...
is it a dream or reality ?

In time we'll see...
be a king or kennedy.

Our future is bright to me...
you can be happy and free.

Work or play...
it's all in a day.

for those who have good dreams and are doers.

Poetry Back From Breaks

All in a day, muse on my bed ,eve of xmas
I feared.. not to welcome death of an ace,
made an extract, from no stag, such it tastes
Of a year 'm most inspired by 20s from 16s
Of this funfilled ink, that bears no feathers
'Array', they shan't fly away from books
Made not by my fingers.
My age hidden in this century,On a eve of Christmas
Overwhelmed with frost, but muse not lifeless

All In a Day

All In A Day

All in a day I can feel all types of ways.
Never feeling happy, looking forward to better days.
All in a day I go from one mood to another
Praying to God I’ll always be a great mother
How can this be when he’s taking me down?
Never does he want to fix my frown.
Usually the cause, it’s his words that cut
All in a day many doors open and shut.

As the heart are now wailing
Left without saying good bye
Loneliness eat every inch of my body

If you only knew
Nothing can make me forget

After that you decided to go

Don’t know what to do
and it scares me half to death
Young love does not go out of date

All alone
By the side of the
Creek
Dreaming and
Even
Feeling the
Gusts of wind
Have
Interfered with my
Joyful repose
Keeping
Little
Musings
Notes to myself
On a
Parchment, inked by my
Quill pen
Resting
Smiling as Sundown
Takes light from the sky
Until darkness blankets the creek
Very slowly a storm approaches
Waiting until St. Francis
Xavier sends a
Young owl to guide me home where
ZZZs of sleep fill the night

Old leaves are blowing in cyclones
Over patches of snow on the lawn
Whirling a mixture of seasons together
With a pattern of thoughts just the same
Some warmed by sunshine and love
Some worries frozen in the cold air
Life can be like this, all in a day
When we face what there is to face
When we do what it is we do
When we take on challenges
That suddenly come our way
         Living by truth
         - All in a day -
