Premium MemberThe Mirror of Mind

(“Eye of God”, 2018, mixed media encaustic and mirror glass)

Everyone reflects the infinite
Within the finite pool of their mind.
The universe is vast
And yet it shines within us all.
If our minds are full of fear and hate
We will see hate all around us.
If our minds are full of love
We will see love all around us.
The universe contains it all
And so can we.
If we want to know what our minds are like,
What we are really like,
Look no further than how we see the world.

Premium MemberUlladu Narpadu verse 4

the all seeing spiritual eye shines
as God’s self-existent luminous flame
being the source with which our soul aligns
then ego gives each sense organ a name
forgetting God from Whom boons of grace came
and so recognising we are That Self
we delight in life that flows by itself

Premium MemberKnot of the heart

We are not body-mind, we are not this,
concept of ‘I’ being knot of the heart,
which divine grace dissolves, bestowing bliss,
so if God-search we truly wish to start,
shift from ’I’ to ‘we’ deeming none apart.
Feeling deep in our core, bliss beats humming,
we don’t attain but be by becoming.

The Breath of Life

We are formed in His likeness – three in one,
Body, mind, spirit, we are created anew.
As in our hearts we think, so our course is run -
The soul reflects what inward thoughts pursue.

When Christ we claim, our spirit wakes and sees
Heaven’s truths which once lay dormant and dim.
Belief ignites like fire upon the breeze,
And all things bloom through faith we hold in Him.

He spoke: “All things are possible - believe!”
So, we declare, decree His boundless good.
In trust, the chains of doubt begin to leave,
And miracles arise where once none stood.

With God, the vast impossible shall cease -
In Him, the tide of hope and grace increase.

Premium Memberwork in progress

as life happens we react
then sense consciousness contract
which is good because we learn
to overcome ego’s burn

though life seems like a circus
we are here for a purpose
and when love’s flame is steady
to meet God we are ready

Premium MemberDifferent Worlds

(“Dark Pool Nebula”, 2011, original oil)

Different Worlds

I travel to different worlds in my dreams,
In my mind, even day by day
With different aspects of my self
In this one body.
As I get older I see we all live in different worlds,
Determined by what we believe, how we are raised,
And what we learn.
Sometimes we can stand on the same street corner
And be in totally different worlds as we chat.
Some people know all about this
And some are totally clueless,
Yet still we are all in our own world.
Is this a problem that needs to change?
I don’t think so
It is just the nature of things
The nature of having a mind
Especially so with an independent mind.
So maybe it is good the way things are.
What is bad is trying to change this
Trying to make everyone conform.
But how would it be if a fish thought itself
A bird, or a bird a fish,
Or a man a woman, or a human a god?
Some things are just not meant to be.
And so I travel to different worlds
In my dreams and in my mind,
And as I become more familiar
The worlds become more wonderful.

Premium MemberHealing Desperation

Desperation, draw me not like magnets pull
But once again let saneness possess me in full
Do not ravage me like a loin upon its prey
Block not the seeds of thoughts that come to save the day

Like limbs of a tree in the presence of a gale force wind
The heavy weight of thy encumbrance makes me bend
As a cookie being crushed underneath a fisted hand
Sapping my power, I become a broken man

Hope beyond my greatest self, suddenly appears
Dashing all desperate thoughts, releasing all my fears
Focused like a camera’s lens, my eyes see a way
Attitude and mindful thought, must have their say

Ideals forming one by one, possibilities
Desperation lost this time, healed is my choice of realities

Premium Member I See Fire

Divine fire glowing with hope
radiates pardon
burning transgression's filth
freeing hearts from guilt.

Revival fire of worship
warms toward service
as faith blazes to reach-out
souls from hell's fury.

OUR CLAIM TO FAME
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Line of Inquiry: “death approaches but we have no regret ~ when God questions us, we will stand erect”
Now I stand upon the precipice of my waning years,
Outwardly gazing upon landscape I created.
Releasing sobs, my burdened spirit weeps,
Exiguous wisdom upon my brow.
God's gentle guidance, my ego refused to embrace.
Redemption comes with God’s tender mercy and grace.
Eternal encore for soul forthcoming, weighs heavy upon my mind.
Thunderous voice asks, “Any regrets?”
Standing erect, I reply, “Though flawed, I lived; I learned. No regrets"
"Remorse? Yes, but no baggage. No guilt. No shame....my spirit's claim to fame."
Premium MemberJivanmukti - liberated while alive
he who beholds the light within all the time
whose perception is undifferentiated
breathing in grace betwixt bliss beat’s chime
consciousness fulcrum in the void located
he who dwells in the moment free from fear
vibrant in stillness seeing God everywhere
viewing life as a dream which will disappear
dwelling in the heart as awareness self-aware
he who knows without doubt he is not body-mind
viewing organic form as an earth life interface
flame of bliss magnetism divine aligned
flowing orientation being release and embrace
he who feels from God and existence no distance
empowered with the power of bilocation
within whom there remains no shred of resistance
always remaining immersed in meditation
Premium Member From Heart's Abyss
Soaring beyond firmament with bliss
divine meeting from heart's abyss
Premium MemberUlladu Narpadu verse 1
One singular consciousness ensouls all forms,
which we know not since ego is in control
but if with fortitude we weather life’s storms,
making heart quiescent that no thoughts patrol,
our formless presence, with laws of God conforms,
reclaiming light of Self that scriptures extol.
God verily is the light Who lights all lights,
felt as benign bliss magnetism that delights.
Premium MemberAham Brahmasmi - I Am That
when ego truly dissolves
with no phoenix like resurrection
presence is still but the world revolves
seen then as but a thought form projection
not one with but rather as the energy field
as the very substratum of all existence
truth of God unmanifest is revealed
from Whom there is no distance
luminous darkness of high density
motionless consciousness as the all
potent power hum of infinite immensity
within itself creates worlds as a bliss squall
we as a spark of God are in fact the whole
limitation arises from flawed perception
save exhuming ego there is no goal
duality is a matrix of deception
we are God’s self-existent light
fragrance of love is our effulgence
bliss our nature that we frolic in delight
as bliss dew drops on all nodes condense
