Premium Member I Am Because of the Great I Am

Radiance of life reigns around sweet relationship offered by the great "I am that I am" Creator as I yield to Him Who is my sovereign Director midst blessed fellowship along wondrous worship. Against suffering gloom of frustration-caused pain I am bouncing back with hope-lit serenity-glow revived to bloom along abundant blessings' flow since the great "I am that I am" grants salvation-gain. Gripped by "I am the way, the truth and the life" creed surmounting unbelief's stroke that attacks the heart triumphantly prevailing over weakness' dart I am keeping the faith, shining with love and kindness' deed.

Hoping for miracles
     entreating for impossibility
          smiting doubts...
               ...vanquishing angst...
                    illumined by divine grace
                         now, requests are answered
                              as faith trusts the blessing-Source
                                   and compassion functions wholeheartedly
                                        to share glow of kindness-mirth
                                             busting with triumphant gratitude.

Premium MemberSaudade of Stars

Awed blest star-struck divinely I’m gripped with hope’s bliss sublimely glowing from heaven, sparkling bright midst divine engagement that radiates parents' love… …engulfing me in their presence, warming my heart, kindling home's bond, always lingering… …yearning for eternal reunion beyond celestial glory while fulfilling stewardship duties devoid of ephemeral gain… …upheld by faith’s strength, believing in God’s promise, asserting this Scriptural truth: "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."

One Word

“Mary!”

One word
Tears transformed
Sorrow to joy
One moment
One word.

A name
Life
New life
Beyond-the-tomb life
Forever.

When Jesus calls
By name
One word.

Mary!

Reviving

The flowers had flopped
Down the side of the pot
No display like intended
Yesterday.

The arranger forgot
To put water in the pot
So they wilted
And flopped in dismay.

The next day is here
So now look again
They’re all standing up!
Revival has brought full display.

Through His life-giving water
Many Christians today
Need God’s life-giving Spirit.
Only He can revive us again.

“O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years!”
			Habbakuk 3:2

Premium MemberDoom And Gloom

The Christian who preaches
death and destruction, End
Times, is little better than the
Tyrant who says, do as the
state says, or suffer the consequences --
we are no good to heaven if we
arrive there for fear of damnation.
No sane father, beyond the years
of a child’s early development, wants his child
to fear him. Love but not fear. Love
and fear cannot coexist. Sin wants
us to fear. Love does not. Dropping
bombs or dropping damnation are one
in the same. It is man’s way, and not
the way of our nurturing God. Love
is the Light and Way of a harmonic
universe....

Premium MemberThe Road Before Me

The road stretches out to a bend in the trees,
Where the fog hangs heavy and low on the breeze.
I cannot see over the crest of the hill,
Or what lies in wait where the valley is still.
But I know the Master who mapped out the trace,
And I know the beauty that waits at the place
Where the journey concludes and the shadows give way
To the brilliant, unbroken frontier of the day.
So, I walk by faith, or I should say I run this race,
Untethered from sight and only by grace.
With each steady footprint, the horizon is clear,
For the Voice that commanded the road is right here.
Completely dependent, a child by the hand,
I trust Him to level the rough, broken land.
I need not the map, nor the view from the gate—
I just need the Father who makes the way straight.

Premium MemberWe Are Love

Be wise,
But not a Smarty Pants --
Let love not be pretentious
But simply flow naturally --
The first is superficial
While the second is Becoming.
Do not fear the heart’s natural
Rhythms, it will race when
Necessary, slow when rest or
Thoughtful pause is needed...
And love~ for it is Our Source --
In short, know that the life we
Are given, was just that, not
Earned but a Divine Gift. Love
And know one’s ever-present
Benefactor. Always is Love.
All else just passing illusion.

Premium MemberCreating

I am not such a detail person
in a surface sense --
if it works better than it has
worked before, better than
anyone has made it work
before – then I am satisfied.
For the moment. Polish,
burr free…does that matter
to the person that thirsts, the
person in need of shelter and a
comforting touch? Poetry, art,
they’re also tools prolific as
hammers and saws – likewise
build structures for ascent and
decent – let our steps be pure
as humanly possible – God
knows our hearts already. Cares
less about the color of our souls
and only that they have yet not been
sold.

Spoken biblical words
Prophecy exchange
Motion through time
Redemption shall reign
Transformation from flesh to everlasting
Heavens come down to Earth
Rebirth of hearts
Tongues shall testify
Truth told
Spiritual within
Storms will shout
Skies will open the chatter
World attention
Earthly eyes to look up
Wait upon will arrive
Wonder assured from yonder
Hearts united
Buckle up and be ready
Hold steady
Wisely thought.
