The Geisha - Walk Softly Contest
I smile serenely and sit
waiting as my mentor taught
to please weary gentlemen
massaging egos.

Shadows
Cold gray-sky morning
The sun remains cloud hidden
An extended dawn
A shadow among shadows
I walk softly through the house...

Conspiracy
Come bridal beauty,
Walk softly down red carpet
Crafted with much care
Thread by thread in sly design.
It is a conspiracy....

Geisha
I admire the geisha girl’s
jet black hair, pretty white face
and embroidered pink silk robe
as we sip our tea

Walk softly through a summer meadow
Quietly singing a gospel hymn,
The grass won't pay no mind.*

Braggadocio
There are too many people whose favorite trick,
Is to preach, "Walk softly and carry a big stick."
But, in practice, they arrogantly sing Yankee Doodle
And stomp around loudly, but carry a wet noodle...

Mist of Time
Mist of Time

Do not spill my blood
On wasteland
Do not bury my last scream
In a grave.
I will walk softly
Across the screen leave no trace
Just a whisper… and
In years to come you will hear
An echo, recalling my name....

Time Gone By
The time gone

Do not spill my blood.
On wasteland
Do not bury my last scream
In a grave.
I will walk softly
Across the screen
Leave no trace.
Only a whisper.
In the years to come
You will hear an echo
Recalling my name....

Peace Celebrated
Balls of fire fall from the sky
nowhere to hide,but few lived,
peace came to wipe tears away,
The world celebrates.

Displaced hunters can now feed,
Hakkaido is their abode,
Doves are set free as symbol
of freedom and peace.

Follow
Follow me down the honey trail
Where the flowers always bloom
With a golden pink moon
 and beautiful rainbows

Follow me down to the honey trail
Where the sweetest scents
Clear your air.

Follow me down to the honey trail
Where there's never a kiss of farewell.
Walk softly upon your feet

Like angels tipping toes.
Listen to the song in your soul
As you walk upon the path of gold....

Premium Member Come Back
come back to me,
my love, come back

walk softly
  so to not disturb
our hallowed tombs
  of past.

let my fingers soothe and smooth
  deep furrows carved
  upon your brow
let my gentle  hands
  massage
life's weary flesh
  of burden
let me reach  beneath
  to crawl between
  the you and the sad.

come back to me,
my love come back
  to my step
across my threshold
  over here
I wait....

At Your Feet
Wishes and day dreams I place at your feet.
Where the raged and tranquil frequently meet.
Walk softly my soul, I'm burning with fire,
beauty and wisdom fuel and inspire.
Growing slowly, embers glowing, knowing.

Like a candle flame absorbing its wick.
Lost in puffs of smoke that flutter and flick.
Burning bleakly in accepted defeat.
Glowing light flickers in passionless heat.
Slowing transforming, slowly consuming....

Ollie, Ollie, the reddish sun is coming up,
Mother's in the kitchen filling the teacup,
Teddy bear awaits fantastic adventure today,
Walk softly little Ollie, 'til shadows go away.

Ollie, Ollie, green grassy fields are calling,
Frogs are croaking, and rooster is bawling,
Time is swift, but the days are growing long,
Making way for the frenzied summer throng!

Reach Out
Walk softly through this quiet place
And let the shadows touch your face.
Out here beneath the ancient trees
Let life slip into memories.

Don’t think about a sad good-bye
As time breathes out his final sigh.
Each moment will be precious now,
Each dream a field beneath time’s plow.

Reach out and slowly gather in
The dreams though they seem frail and thin.
Each one will shine and warm your soul.
Take back what fear and pain control....

The Young, the Still
The Young and the Still 22/7-2011

Walk softly now
on the green lawn of sorrow.
Too many tears shed
may turn it into a maudlin
Hollywood quagmire;
and make grief a way of life.
Open wounds fester and turn
into an anger against oneself.
First the blame game,
then demand for compensations.
But there is not enough
money in the world which
can heal broken hearts
So let go now and let millions
of roses celebrate survivors
as we remember the dead fondly....

Walk Softly
I love the way you walk in your stilettos
The clickety click sound of your heels
The seductive sway of your hips
And the luring gaze that appeals

But when you walk softy
That is what I love the best
As your stilettos cover new territories
Across my bony chest

Oh the view my Soupies the view
Of man’s weakness I do stare
But never trust a woman in stilettos
As your bit lay unattended and bare.

Uhhhhhhhh!

Crisp lemon colored leaves
kamikaze off branches
Diving and dying
Glorious unconcerned dance

Squirrels chatter
Scold each other over nuts
flip their curly tails
with sassy attitudes

Deer walk softly,
fearing November, understanding
Many will be laying down their lives in November
Their hoofs smash multi-colored leaves into the forest floor.

October cool.
Sweaters and sweatshirts precede scarves and mittens
Songbirds sing their joy as trees go bare.
Announcing winter early...
