Come Back

come back to me,
my love, come back

walk softly
  so to not disturb
our hallowed  tombs
  of past.

let my fingers soothe and smooth
  deep furrows  carved
  upon your brow
let my gentle  hands
  massage
life's weary flesh
  of burden
let me reach  beneath
  to crawl  between
  the you  and  the sad.

come  back to me,
my love   come back
  to my step
across  my threshold
  over here
I wait.
