The Day the Earth Shook
The Day the Earth Shook
Today a place called Haiti,
weighs heavy on my mind.
A small island Country State,
where life has been unkind.
With little shanty houses,
no food to feed the young.
War and unrest through the years,
a trap to be unstrung.
A seven-point earthquake struck,
it rattled this small place.
Shook

Shook
Shook
You whispered to the brokenness of my sleep
Sweet as though a pillager in a gaseous light
And as I was a castaway by every concoct
The horizon faced me forward once again
There were wars and abstractions
Ugliness and harrowed bearing
As you cooled me in the darkness and let me sleep
Where any tread to turn, you'd not understand
You were

The Cat Just Shook Its Head
The cat just shook its head
And covered it with sand, then fled
There is a lesson here to teach
Don’t take a feline to the beach.
A dog, of noble breed, just s**t
And slowly walked away from it
For he was sleek and frisbee fast
And knew the tides erased the past .
The owners of this bathroom crew
Claimed there was

God Shook His Head Today
God Shook his Head Today
In the public eye you spew lies from the table cloth, with fake humanitarianism.
A sort of façade one puts on at a mardi gras parade; whimsical and alluring.
Yet, your goodwill proves shallow.
Another ego centric politician to add to the list.
While the oceans dry up, and the glaciers melt, our super typhoons

Fell Out When Book We Shook
To learn what love was had to look,
Some weird story up start to cook;
Bottle spin;
Kiss again;
Love fell out when book we shook.

All Shook Up
Elvis Presley high on drugs
with gyrating hips and shrugs
sang many a great song
chubby cheeks, sideburns long
ere guitar strings pulled all plugs.

Shook Up When His Hands Had Shook
Shook Up When His Hands Had Shock
At Trump's two small hands, we did look;
Were shook up when his hands we shook;
Breath did take;
Mistake make;
Down drain had found us flushing his book.
Only someone with long loose tool,
Would go to a trumped up school;
Head banged,
Then hanged;
Used thin thread dangling from spool.
His head was so light that

The Day That Shook the World
The Day that Shook The World.
22/05/2017 Manchester Arena Attack....
The Nation stood still in shock and fear,
our hearts pour out to those innocent victims
who lost friends,family they held so dear,
filled with Grief and Sorrow,
Although our words cannot begin
to convey or express the deep
agony and pain of those whose
hearts are broken and

Shook Up
I think about my past
and I hoped that it wouldn't last
but... I have changed people, places, and things
and still things aren't what they seem
looking into my eyes and still wanting to see me hurt just like "Just Cause"
so I still sit in a pause motion
hiding my emotions
took, shook up

Whole World Has Shook
Whole World Has Shook
By me consistently has to be confessed
With writing poems am becoming obsessed
Continually writing them when I can
So easily all of them you could understand.
Things about poems I have discovered
They are always waiting to be uncovered
With words in them all properly placed
And errors either lined out or erased.
Problems with poems seems to have

When I Shook the Devil's Hand
When I Shook the Devil’s Hand
I thought that I could do it,
I thought I had it planned,
I thought that I knew everything,
When I shook the devil’s hand,
Just a little bit of garbage,
Just a little bit of sin,
Just a little bit of common sense,
Would have helped me way back then,
What is it, makes us think we

When Jesus took
Our Suffering and Pain
To Regain, All that was lost…
For everyone… Jesus paid the Price..
Giving of His Life… was the Cost…
For Us All to be cleansed
With His Pure Innocent Blood… Shed
God Raised Jesus from the dead…
Jesus Has Risen…
To Save Us All
From Satan’s Prison’s
By His Blood… we All can be Changed…
Given
