The same haunting melody each time
ever the same when full moon climbs;
It is the sweet song of fuchsia twilight,
sung by the mystery bird each night.
An unknown bird, red and lilac tinged,
daily sings skies, from gold to orange,
Searing sunset into heart and memory,
It's the same song, never does it vary.

***************
Silent streams slide softly south
Subtle stars spill silver mouth
Shadowed slopes sleep, still and slight
Sable skies shield sacred night
Softened sighs soothe summer's song
Shifting shapes spin stories strong
Serene silence spreads so long
the cadence of rain
as I drift into slumber . . .
dreaming of puddles
The night unbuttons slowly at the rim of sky,
and spills its quiet galaxies like silver grain,
each star a whispered note the dark lets fly,
a trembling hymn of light without a name.
The moon, a patient violin of pale delight,
draws bow on silence stretched from here to far,
and every breath of wind becomes a note of night,
composed in dust that once belonged to stars.
Across the fields, the shadows bloom like ink,
while fireflies rehearse their fragile glow,
as if the earth itself had learned to think
in constellations buried deep below.
I stand where time dissolves in velvet streams,
my pulse in rhythm with the cosmic art,
for we are but the echo of old dreams,
a sky remembered faintly in the heart.
O listen, how the universe leans near,
to sing through bones and blood its ancient tune;
a serenade too vast for mortal ear,
yet soft enough to cradle even ruin.
And in that song, I lose what I once knew,
no edge, no end, no solitary part;
just stardust drifting, endlessly made new,
a quiet galaxy within the heart.
A whisper whines from the dark velvet night
Where swarms of swirling stardust start to gleam,
The cosmos exhales a carefree delight,
A silvered, spongy, spun-out, silent dream.
Each tiny spark seems a memory old,
Of suns that burned and turned to cosmic grace,
A story from the sky meant to unfold,
Reflected in the distant empty space.
A honeyed melody the darkness weaves,
The cosmic serenade begins to swell,
Amidst the silent silver sleeping leaves,
A sacred secret that the heavens tell.
The grey expanse up high begins to hum,
A soft, sweet solo felt within the soul,
For moments lost that surely soon won`t come,
Beyond the world's known, possible control.
My heart is tuned to the sweet stellar song,
A gentle wave across the boundless blue,
Where perhaps in the past I`ve long belonged,
Now laid aground beneath the boundless view.
This cosmic serenade of tiny grains,
A soft melodious song in the air,
Washes away everywhere earthly pains,
Pervading each soul with a better flair.
The gown I wore was stitchery sown art
and you were styled in handsome tailored clothes.
First song we heard that touched our giddy hearts
we claimed as our enchanting love sung prose.
Our young fair faces wished to boldly chance
the feel our eyes both surmised as real.
How flushed my blush was when you asked to dance
and took my hand for waltzing romance zeal!
Our sweetheart tender courting days were blessed
with passionately peaked romantic songs.
Years tuned our music to medleys expressed
to sing for stars that gifted love so strong.
Time still plays gold toned notes to serenade
our stardust filled hearts living love portrayed.
As night softly nudges dusk aside
and birds return to their nests to hide
I look skyward in hopes of a chance
to see you among their nightly dance
The stars are magic, but I need you
the way you once were: a dream come true
I hear wind singing our lonesome song
And wonder again how things go wrong
If I could hold you just one more day
dance with the clouds our magical way
But, our days have become lost in time
and, only in dreams will you be mine
The stars sense dawn is now drawing nigh
they persuade wind to lighten the sky
Then Breeze, that often tells silken lies,
Will tell our secrets to lilac skies
No matter how I carve these lines,
you escape the page.
You slip through my metaphors,
slipping further from my hands.
Still, I write you.
In a higher orbit,
you sway and move.
A soul with too many sides,
with circling winds that carry you from me.
Still, I follow you.
But maybe,
I can peer into the eye of your storm.
I might catch a glimpse of your hurricane heart,
before it turns from me again.
Still, I call you.
You are beyond this world,
a lavender galaxy,
and I, a moon
in your gravity.
As silence speaks; night spreads its cloak deep blue.
Moon blooms as it caresses the face of sea,
and radiant stars dance with my thoughts of you.
It’s as if eternity shines down on me.
Are the stars the eyes of angels silver-white,
which like sequins sparkle all around
on a canvas breathed on by God each night?
Across the sky serenity streams down.
I think the angels read my thoughts and sigh
as I dream of you and your sweet kiss.
Sprinkles are falling from each angel eye.
Are they brightly blinking now from my bliss?
Stardust is falling from heaven above.
It must be the gift of the angels’ love.
The end of a life cycle comes
And all anxiety goes blown
Like dandelion particles
Exploding across the universe
No need for a hearse
Onyx dreams against silvery stars
And white winds gently singing of heart
There is nothing and everything all at once
A feeling of peace unity and purpose
Floating towards emerald energy
A silver sample of souls’ symphony
Coming together like a universal song
Each spirit represented and received
Respected and loved in the light
That is now home
The dusky skyline blends
the azurin expanse
Dusted blushing clouds,
mauve moon’s brush across in radiance
over a star-studded labyrinth
A jeweler’s den
A syntheses surge
A revolving musical menagerie
Soulful eyes reflect
a thousand diamonds in the sky,
captivating cosmically
You found my light amongst
the ambiguous
luminiferous aether
Pure elixir of wizardy poured
on its rivers and springs
Velvet skin carbon spun
bodies of water sway
in sync across
acoustic wave mazes,
twinkling harmonies
in embellished realms
A stardust serenade,
swarms of sonatas
shape Lidström’s lullaby
Along stratus symphonies
I slumber under the starry cluster
enraptured in its turbulent chimes,
...sequestered
As the scarlet sun sets slowly down the cold horizon,
the onyx night glows in the tinsel torrent of twilight,
the shining stars sprout one by one in the milky way,
cosmic concerto of constellation starts in the silky sky.
Ebony night shapes the silhouette of sapphire sky
above the malachite profile of the forest canopy
that wears the bejeweled crown of heavenly décor,
embroidered by lyrical lattice of serenading stardust.
The spray of resonating sequins of the morphed dreams
drizzle through the misty music of the mystique stardust.
The astral symphony resounding in the ambiance of silence
blends with the refrain of whispering passion wind blowing by.
Our paired essence interweaves with the calypso of night,
when the seductive song lyrics of longing the stars write.
Melodic stardust shimmers with the cadence of attuned hearts,
composes a new music of life with the intonation of ecstasy.
The stellar meadow of the magical night sparkles above
with crystal charisma of the constellation of blooming stars,
thus designing the tuneful dreams for our love to sing
in the symphony of silver stardust in the garden of night.
Shadows beget shadows
stretching through the twilight
as the night arrives with its starry night
offering an ethereal tranquility...to our souls
allowing all our worries to disburse
as we look into the longing eyes of love
on a romantic flight
that crosses the boundary of boundless beauty
prisoners beneath a million stars
where dreamers dream of romantic rustlings of wonder
caressed by the musical majesty of the hearts grace
measured by their beating tempo
inspired by the quiet hush of the undisturbed sky
that takes us far, far from Earth
to a magical realm of tender yearning
and passionate rapture...fleeting as starlight
to be a lasting memory, held like a precious jewel
The void vibrates—vast, violent, vivid~
and the stellar symphony silently swirls.
Orion's orchestra joins in, oscillating overhead.
Through celestial currents, silver stardust spins~
serenading the silent spheres with songs
spun from supernovae’s spent suns.
Planets pause in their ponderous paths,
pivoting with stardust in peaceful pirouettes~
a ballet performed in the boundless blanket of night.
A combustible comet crusades through the cosmos
cantillating a melody only Jupiter understands.
Saturn's sapphire strings strum along softly~
meteorites murmur past the Kuiper cliffs.
Venturing through velvet skies,
Venus violins verses from its volcanic plains.
Mercury, with its metallic mass and molten mist,
mingles with stardust making marvelous melodies.
Stardust entwines with earth’s ethereal embers~
now effervescent, stardust explodes into song
serenading sentimental poets like you and I.
Sparks of stardust in their eyes
Tuning love into a serenade,
Arising as if the composition were prearranged
Ready for the moment of awareness,
Destiny written by the very stars~
Umbrella of the heavens,
Sheltering
Tent of beauty and perfection.
Shall we sing in concert with the universe,
Every sense imbibing wonder,
Reaping rhapsodies of melodious
Effervescent threads of angel joy~
Nubile romance keeps time with the stardust serenade,
As two roses grow into a bower,
Decades of love and laughter will not forget
Evening sparks of stardust in their eyes.
