Silent streams slide softly south
Subtle stars spill silver mouth
Shadowed slopes sleep, still and slight
Sable skies shield sacred night
Softened sighs soothe summer's song
Shifting shapes spin stories strong
Serene silence spreads so long

Sotto; I came to read you but also help you out. I'm 99% sure that Pleiades may only have a one-word title. Now, about you being a showoff, (I'm kidding) you definitely get the alliteration award, and I do believe yours is the only one I've seen that has consistent rhyme. You must have enjoyed gathering and shaping pieces for this; those of us who play with words truly enjoy said play. Impressive and embraceable Pleiades, indeed. CayCay

Hello Sotto, Your sublime, exemplary Pleiades sholuld be compulsory reading for every aspiring writer of this form which is quite deceptive. You discharge your duties with aplomb. Superb alliteration embedded in this wondrous piece whilst using sensible words and apt rhyming too.
