Sky Serenade - Pleiades
Written: August 10, 2026, for a contest sponsored by Rob Carmack
***************
Silent streams slide softly south
Subtle stars spill silver mouth
Shadowed slopes sleep, still and slight
Sable skies shield sacred night
Softened sighs soothe summer's song
Shifting shapes spin stories strong
Serene silence spreads so long
