Premium MemberSequencing simultaneously

It's

The simultaneity

Of it all..

Sequencing expected

Is no more..

Yet

Astonishingly

And not so

Sequencing shows up

Simultaneously..

Not 2..a story...

Premium MemberExit Ramp

The exit ramp looms large just up ahead,
though still an unknown distance ‘round the bend,
a terminus of sorts.
Perhaps a point from which to send
us out of time constraints, into the now,
the means by which remain unknown, just how
exactly, this all ends.
To fret, a waste, ’tis said, so I shall trust instead.

And yet, this ideation blooms within
my mind, a frequent fascination that
with other thoughts, comports.
If only now, is there no then,
and sequencing of time, thus obsolete,
as all arrive en mass, surprised to meet?
The world I know is flat;
my finitude stretched thin, constrained to trust again.

—————

Another fun one, a Mistress Bradstreet stanza: 10a-10b-6c-8b-10d-10d-6b-12a

This one comes from a notion from reading Matthew 25, in the Last Judgment. All would have died at different times, but on that day, all were surprised, hence the idea of different departures, all arriving at now.

Premium MemberSonic Sonnet

Sonorous, saporous symphonies: strong;
soothingly spirited, sublime sweet songs.
Satisfied sigh, sees salubrious springs;
sharp, sizzling sunburn scream: saltwater stings.

Searing sharp satirists, snarkily snide;
subtle smart sophists show soft, specious side.
Skimpy, salacious shows sell sexy spice;
somber, sad serials scarcely suffice.

Seismic'ly sensitive subsurface screens;
substandard systems: severe shakes scarce seen.
Scaling slick surfaces, snow-scented slides;
slogging sludge swamps, smelling stinky sulfides.

Sans similarities, superimposed;
sequencing syllables, simple supposed.

Infinite bottomless
Infinite limitless
Limitless stamina
Limitless energy
Energy overload
Energy burdening
Burdening burgeoning
Burdening flourishing
Flourishing enterprise
Flourishing company

Company safeguarding
Company sheltering
Sheltering enemies
Sheltering predators
Predators sauntering
Predators wandering
Wandering aimlessly
Wandering mindlessly
Mindlessly faltering
Mindlessly fidgeting

Fidgeting nervously
Fidgeting worriedly
Worriedly galumphing
Worriedly galloping
Galloping anxiously
Galloping fruitlessly
Fruitlessly gathering
Fruitlessly harvesting
Harvesting wastefully
Harvesting foolishly

Foolishly challenging
Foolishly strenuous
Strenuous exercise
Strenuous practicing
Practicing stringency

Progeny procreate

Procreate thoughtlessly
Procreate heartlessly
Heartlessly sickening
Heartlessly hideous
Hideous ordering
Hideous sequencing
Sequencing endlessly
Sequencing infinite
Endlessly…

Premium MemberLove

I think love is the greatest thing –
and few will disagree; and no
need for gene splicing, genome
sequencing in a lab to propagate –
just good old fashioned love
produces love: with gentle strokes
of kindness; encouraging words,
gestures and sweet nudges –
I see love in the feline grooming
her kittens; love in a bird protecting
her nest at the cost of her life if
necessary; love in the breast of a
nurturing mother – in the supporting
nature of a 24/7 wife; I see love
in the sun, for when it shines things
grow and ripen; I see love in the
rain, for we quench and know,
that love is alive and well – a short
word, and as easy to give as spell;
yet a world of evil can't kill it...for
God on high, as man's saving grace
supports and triumphantly wills it –

Premium MemberOur Dreaming State

Our dreaming state, discerned by mind sedate
Elements of cause and effect missing
All sense of time absent, as we gyrate
Having lost even sense of reasoning

There remains no logical sequencing
We have no will, when dreams manipulate
Puppet on a string, we cease questioning
Our dreaming state, discerned by mind sedate

Free will gone, unable to meditate
We yet go on thus experiencing
No will or power, we cannot create
Elements of cause and effect missing

As we respond to illusions flowing
Fear images arise, which we then placate
We question not thought forms, bewildering
All sense of time absent, as we gyrate

Fear or desire, we do not hesitate
Aspect of consciousness is accepting
Unable to ask flow of time to wait
Having lost even sense of reasoning

Difference between waking and sleeping
Unknown if our stupor does not abate
If waking too, like a dead man walking
What matters randomness of seeming fate
Our dreaming state

Prestigious Emile Pinet

Sponsor, I'm writing to let you know
I will not be entering your Contest
- Why do you feel you should judge my work?
I possess the pretty form of cotton fluff clouds
whispy pink serenity of sunset splendour

My fingers hold unending pencil of enduring strength
On my feet, shoes of pure gold
Everywhere I go, people bow to honour my keen skill
Word sequencing pumps in my blood
Gifted quill spills ink invincible!

If you don't know, the sheer bulk of poems
exist inferior to my superb unique style
Without doubt, my writing is too good
to be seen in your mediocre list!

Just for reinforcement, - here is my one hundred
percent pledge to refuse your offer
I will not submit work for your pitiful Contest

Now Sponsor, I must go, confining your scope
to those dull dim entries coming soon

My jittered limbed urge implores my continued
drinking of copious cups of coffee to fuel
my incredible hot ripe mind in streets of genius

        Kind Wishes, politely declining

With the Quickness

With the quickness ...
unprecedented corporate rise
Fabulous omni-view sky work space,
immune to boardroom gossip sickness

Poker-face negotiator disguise ...
keep the key competition guessing
Do the necessary background homework,
anticipate any proprietary lies

Next gen capitalist with no corruption trace ...
squint the inside of planetary councils
Logic sequencing of managerial decisions,
investors' hugs are a burgeoning dividend embrace

Lawyers love the legal byzantine thickness ...
corner the market on low g orbital gear
Warp expansion of the company's political assets,
explains how a lowly rock hopper ascends with the quickness
