Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed--In a moment in the twinkling of an eye. For our
For our Lord, Himself shall descend from heaven with a mighty
shout, with the voice of an arch angel and the last trumpet of God.
And the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we who are alive
and remain, shall all be changed. And be caught up together
in the sky and so we shall always be the our Lord Jesus Christ.
For our corruptible bodies must be changed to incorruptible ones and
our mortal bodies must put on their immortal ones. "For flesh and blood
cannot inherit the kingdom of God in heaven for during the seven year's
tribulation on earth." His saints shall be safeguarded and protected there.

I do not even know how many, many times
You have safeguarded this precious flock of thine
For the wolves we see,we hear them howl,
Are only the few you have allowed
Not to rend and rip and kill
But to lead me to your sacred will
Which if i had been faithfully following you
Instead of wandering on a path I choose
Wouldn't have been able to touch me at all
It was my choices and rebellion that led to my fall
But what the Enemy means as evil where I stood
You can turn around to be for my good
For every beast we see and hear,
there's ten more that get nowhere near
Wolves are far from our only enemy
There's also beasts of air and monsters of sea
And as painful, as heartbreaking as it is,
When one grabs hold and you think you won't live,
time and again you've been there,
to chase them away, and for my wounds care.
When wounded by predators, by enemies, Looking back I can always see
how there was a reason for every single case…
how you've used each tragedy to increase my faith
or to guide me with rod and staff, to the right time and place
To receive your blessings, your peace and truth
For You are the Great Shepherd…
And I will follow you!

A dauntless dachshund was my darling dog.
He was charmed to chase the cavorting frog.
He always ran and romped with great agility ,
For sniffing and smelling mice, he had a special ability.
He was rock black in shade and was very bold.
He stayed loyal and lively and never grew old.
His swaddling gait and swiveling move,
Brought much joy. From life, all boredom he did remove.
Safeguarded and shielded our home with a surveilling eye.
Lazily loitered with us under the lulling evening sky.
His sparkling starry eyes shone with joyful delight.
He sought snuggles and cuddles as if they were his right.
Sad, one day, our darling dachshund for ever departed.
Dropping his doggy duties, from us, he silently parted.
The memory of the magical moments he gave, merrily stays.
A faithful friend who gave us funny and festive days!

Ah, has anyone ever thought
that love would have become the object
of sexual gratification for many?
Can we deny the misery that repulses us?
Who safeguarded it were humble mothers
teaching their kids the right way to give;
have we changed our prospective,
becoming too liberal pushing aside
the divine thought of holiness,
the narrative of spoken words?
They never stained our conscience
with heavy guilt; they embellished
our minds with profound sentiment,
not being less caring and protective.
If humbleness has been replaced by pride,
and naughty thoughts are far from holy:
do we blame ourselves for what we perceive?
Do we look deeper into our conscience and grieve?

trapped,
safeguarded,
each appendage
secured in amber,
some Jurassic specimen
created for your gaze
you regard me
with a quizzical eye,
comb your notes carefully
for collected data
on my anomalies
how to straighten this limb,
shape this abdomen,
bend this thorax
to fashion the perfect
exemplar of your
scientific prowess
no manufactured artifice
will satisfy you
you deftly maneuver
and rearrange,
cut and reassemble,
manipulating your scalpel
and forceps
until you have your prize,
flawless and complete,
but for the glue
leaking from the seams

You had brought me into this world
when you were only twenty three years old
you must of had the word "mine"
in your thoughts when you named me "Mia"
You had trained me from an infant
on curbing the challenges of life no matter the size
even after I have blossomed into a matured woman
you never stopped training me
I have always been your most safeguarded child
because of my hidden birth defect
unlike my teachers and many others
who had failed me on a daily basis
you could have aborted me, miscarried me
forsaken me in the maternity ward or even born sleeping
but you never gave up on me
you were tenacious enough to overcome it
I knew you have missed out
on receiving legitimate parental support
when you were growing up as a child
but that did not precluded you from becoming a stern
but encouraging mother to my sister and I
The love and affection we may recieve from
our friends, teachers and significant others
would always blow hot and cold thoughout our lives
but your love and care for us would never drop out of sight

Torturous nightmares of hellish anguish
Make soul drowned in agony to languish
Torments’ onslaught disturbing blest silence
Dreadful lamentations God can vanquish.
Midst attacks of guilt heart strives to conceal
Frustration-wails reign midst hopelessness’ peal
Driving me to hide in the Lord’s chamber
Serenely safeguarded by His love-seal.
Fleeing from perilous temptation darts
Faith seeks refuge* in the Saviour’s ramparts
Hedged by grace, compassion, mercy and peace
Constantly braced upon truth of fresh starts.
When achievement is flooded by vain pride
Paralyzing sincere commitment stride
I’m driven toward failure’s grievous loss
Thus, in the Almighty I must abide.
As fervent service thrives to bear fruits well
Struggles’ inundation constantly swell---
My spirit keeps on worshipping with thanks
“To Christ be the glory” I humbly tell.
*Psalm 94:22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

I find it hard to believe the sun is setting
That the noble experiment is in fatal decline,
Just because so many people are forgetting
Descending into what I’d call a piteous whine.
That the noble experiment is in fatal decline
Belying solid foundations of our Constitution
Descending into what I’d call a piteous whine,
Conspiracy theories adding to rank confusion.
Belying solid foundations of our Constitution
With safeguarded freedoms in amendments
Conspiracy theories adding to rank confusion
Bringing to the forefront ridiculous arguments!
With safeguarded freedoms in amendments
And not elevating to power insurrectionists,
Bringing to the forefront ridiculous arguments
To remain stalwart, we need constructionists.
And not elevating to power insurrectionists
How close we came to witnessing a coup
To remain stalwart, we need constructionists
We need strong leaders who know what to do.
How close we came to witnessing a coup
Just because so many people are forgetting,
We need strong leaders who know what to do
I find it hard to believe the sun is setting.

Pardoned fully from iniquities’ doom
Heart basks in bliss midst serene delight
While guilt is vanquished by clemency-bloom
Gift of God offered with redemptive light
Compassion at work along truth and right.
Forgiven* of confessed transgression gloom
Soul is ransomed against condemnation blight
With assured eternal life for heavenly zoom
Granted by the Saviour upon grace-might
Sanctifying human nature spite.
Acquitted in that sin-judgment courtroom
Spirit now soars toward service height
While joyous life-building role does assume
Safeguarded against imprisoning fright
Thanking the Lord for triumphant stewardship flight.
Fulfilling ministerial tasks though temptations loom
Faith perseveres propped by prayer plight
Overcoming angst that skeptic doubts presume
To bear fruits of good works’ sight
Exalting Christ of devotion contrite.

What a glorious sight as you flit about on your gossamer wings!
You visit me each day and, Oh!, what pleasure to me it brings!
Welcome to my humble abode, please make yourself at home,
As you sample sweet nectar from my flowers and visit my garden gnome!
You wintered in sunny Mexico and I envy you for that my dear friend,
While I suffered blizzards in Colorado of which there seemed no end!
'Tis awesome that you flew so many miles to return to your favorite haunt,
Guided by The Master Compass Who safeguarded you during your jaunt.
What a sensation of angelic breath you impart when upon my hand you light!
Thank you for the beauty you add to His Creation for my and others' delight!
Godspeed as you begin your journey south, you've brought me so much cheer,
And I pray that you or one of your offspring will visit me again next year!

A View Of Hope
Since Coronavirus: COVID 19,
Had disseminated throughout our world,
We safeguarded ourselves through quarantine,
With worn face masks, rubber gloves kept all furled.
It preoccupies our society,
I control my time by being engaged,
31 times 2, this 2020,
In contemplation on how I have aged.
The retirement age, not 60 plus 5,
Not anymore, just a tad bit longer,
If social security will survive,
Let us expect that it will get stronger.
Hope for a cure so things do not get worse,
Then a sonnet it is, and not free verse.

your silhouette lingers into a soft verse;
ebony etched ethereal aura engrained on age old canvas-
like a chrysalis your affection encompasses me in comfort
~safeguarded from fear forevermore~
for you shield me from persistent weathered seasons;
defend me against the lassitude of grievances i somehow call
forth when i am finally happy…
hands once ached, now solaced;
tears once shed, now dried-
fear erased like a pencil's mishap,
satchel of passion prevails...dignified
enchanted by epiphanies of alluring nights,
where touch remains intimate;
sheets of satin lining my curves-
eyes catch like the first and you whisper…
“i’m still so madly in love with you”-
you devour me whole - bad seeds and all;
(you always did see my scars as beautiful)
i am left unscathed in your arms
kept safe by love’s renown shield-
you are the magic holding the
heavens up in the sky...
thank God i am FOREVER yours

Poetically sees…
an ebon eventide with cascading vapors ascending,
gaping over shores of ripples that thirst for redemption-
mounts with founts that peak with utmost desire,
reaching altitudes that make constellations cry.
He stands on a lone rock with ease;
for he is safeguarded-
And he poetically sees his reflection in the reverie,
ceasing his verses of dark syllables; shading the night-
he wishes his bones weren’t too brittle for healing,
yet he knows only a muse that a true gift can bestow.
“Ivory stardust falling upon pebbles of shackled stone,
darkness seeps into skyline wearing fear of the unknown.
Silent stars listen as they shine with a black undertone,
for there are shadows of grey silk reaching heights alone. “

Oh lovely tree, you used to stand
upon a hill 'neath skies of blue.
Now you're cut down, bound up to land
somewhere indoors, your home anew.
We dress you up with balls and lights
adorn your branches, full and green.
Your colors sparkle through the nights;
outside, through windows, can be seen.
How loved you are on Christmas day...
the center of festivity.
Below your limbs, the presents lay
safeguarded 'neath your dignity.
And still, you stand through new year's show,
on guard until the season's done.
But one cold morn, to curb you go...
dried up and naked in the sun.
But now, these days, you might be spared;
your replicas, for years, can last,
are trimmed, then packed away, prepared
for next year's holiday, recast.
