Sweet Noodle Goongey

20 thin sliced eggplant or zucchini
brined and water and dried
30 slices of white tomato
30 slices of a good stiff red tomatto
4 tablespoons of crushed garlic
1 &1/2 cup of diced onion
2 lbs of sliced peperoni
4 cups of ground beef cooked
1 tub of ricotti
2 cups of cottage cheese
5 eggs
salt 
pepper
cayeene
mushrooms
spinach
roasted red bell pepper in oil

Pool Noodle

There once was a young boy named Stever,
Came down with a sudden head fever;
Grandma said,”stay in bed!”
Instead to pool he fled, 
‘Cause Stever just didn’t believe her. 

Noodle doodle-dodo

I like to doodle noodles
with my wibbly nibbly pen;
girly, curly whirly, and,
arty farty, too!

Carefully simmered, a steaming delight, 
Hearty and soothing, through day and night. 
Ingredients bubbling with warmth, a fragrant dance,
Carrots, celery in a culinary trance,
Kindling warmth within, a comforting goal, 
Every spoonful's a hug, healing the soul. 
Nourishing body and spirit, its essence unfurls.

Overflowing flavors, a soothing sight,

Noodle Kugel

Everybody’s noodle kugel
Varies in a way
And some taste just as different
As the night is to the day.

Most recipes were handed down,
A bit of family lore,
Or found in temple cookbooks,
Which have recipes galore.

I tried a few when searching
For the one I’d call my own,
Since the kugels of my grandmas
From my memory have flown.

But I hit upon

A bug who loved to doodle
was floating on a noodle.
He had to get some sunscreen;
the sun was getting brutal.

He could not reach the lotion;
he needed a commotion
to interrupt the pristine,
make waves just like an ocean.

he sidled up beside her
to ask if she would help him
because she was a glider.

Noodle Lake

The calm lake woke up suddenly
On an all consuming day
Received its first visitor from above
A truck, a tractor trailer fell from the sky
Crashed!...An accident perhaps
A high ridge to sharp
A curve too narrow
It split open like an egg on impact
Tons of noodles scurried out
Boiled up soft in high noon heat
Lunch fell over Summer over time
