Look at the Birds

Remember well the words that Christ has said:
'Look at the birds, they neither sow nor reap,
Yet by His Hand they daily still are fed' -
Our Father keeps awake while the sparrows sleep.

It pleases God to meet our every need,
As we draw near through prayer and Holy Word.
In time with Him, our trusting hearts are freed,
And faith responds when His command is heard.

We launch in faith, obeying His decree,
And learn how true our God remains, how kind.
Faith does not shift with each calamity,
Nor bend to fleeting feelings of the mind.

Its anchor holds in Scripture’s firm accord,
The inner voice - stirring – ‘Speak Lord’.

Look At Her

Look at her body,
Her scars tell stories.
Look at her face,
Her smile hides so much pain.
Look at her eyes,
Those green eyes have cried so many tears.
Look at her heart,
You’ll see it’s broken.
Look at her ears,
They’ve heard unimaginable things.
Look at her shadow,
It’s the only one that never left her side.
Look at her cheeks,
You’ll see the path of every tear she has cried.
Look at her legs,
There are times that they aren’t strong enough to hold her up.
Look at her hands,
She has screamed into them.
Look at her scars,
They don’t define her.
Look at her,
And you’ll see what matters.

Look at the womb of my mother

From the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I am flesh, made of bones and skin that can easily tare. That unhinged love is the most unconditional, I grow and deforme when all I do is obey. From the womb of my mother- I was born a blessing. While others see me as a monster. I Am A JUST WOMAN! Through God and christ I shall never fall but to walk with grace and faith.

Premium Member When I Look At His Picture

I kiss his bedazzling framed picture,
Every time, I miss my former mister.
I gently hold my own cheek imagining
How he used to do so in a way so endearing.

The dance is over just look at the time

I have a dance
And so do you
So we could dance together

My heart a hole
For you to fall
Losing all your feathers

I can’t breathe the air of death
Without the tangle of our mess
Kisses of the black hole kind
Loving, hugging and making us blind

Make us hungry make us sad
Promise to make my world so glad
But when I take a grasp of time
To look outside the bedroom blinds
The window reflects
An abyssal glare

It isn’t hungry it isn’t sad
It isn’t angry nor is glad
The dance the two of us would do
Our tangle a mess of death

I thought was true that this time
I wouldn’t be so blind
To share a key and bed
May hope come light instead

Into our black and white landscape
I knew it would be there
A glance of hope
A look at home
To take my heart
Where I belong

Beyond the window glass so clean
I saw an angel of future
Look at who I was
And decide to change for better.

Premium Member A Look at Life

Look at life as an excursion.
Here, you stop, there you learn;
there you pick up a wife,
then a kid or two.
Then you run out of gas.
You look back and say:
“Damn, how did I go so far
on so short a road so fast?”

Premium Member I look at the sky as an ocean of freedom, a realm of boundless flight

I look at the sky as an ocean of freedom, a realm of boundless flight,
where birds sketch their destinies on the blue canvas of infinity,
and I wonder why I remain where wings are just unlived dreams,
but the mirror shows me the answer, a truth hidden deep in my heart,
for my wings were never broken, just taught not to open.
Every time they flutter, a voice whispers to me of gravity,
of duties and guilts dressed in the cloak of false love,
carrying in my chest cages built from old promises and unspoken rules,
their doors have always been open, but fear shouted louder than the wind.
I have grown roots in places I should have left long ago,
I called them loyalty, I called them home, but they were just the comfort of familiar pain,
and now, I lift my gaze to the sky with longing, not because I cannot fly,
but because I have not yet learned to believe I deserve to be among the stars.

Corpulence was once a sign of vast wealth
Although these days it’s a sign of poor health ~

Still, his wife seems to say, “Look at yourself!”

As the sun (L)ifts today
Sending rays (A)cross the land
Breathe deep (T)hrough the way
Your path of (L)eisure will help you stand
Seconds, minutes, are like gold
Shining in your palm to hold
Your arms like wings, your mind your guide
Across any rough waters to the other side
Every moment counts today
Look at the light, comfort will stay

You can try to make everything right
Travel the road, looking every direction
You can plan, work and predict
You can try your hardest and live the fullest
But, there is no control of what happens
Anything can happen at any time
Things can turn upside-down in a flip
Even when all you do is right and with effort
When the sun rises and things are ok,
be grateful in the moment for this rising
Step forward with trust and look at the light

Oh Would You Look At Her

She walks along a misty path humming yesterday's tears.
A breath of a thing, only promising to run in fear.
The sky cries when she walks into the open.
The flowers fade, knowing her love is broken.
His frosty lies left bruises on her dainty lips.
Her fragile hands still remember him.
Missing his ancient soul became her hobby.
Oh would you Look at her, such a lonely body.
