Greave Poems

Premium MemberTerra Incognita

I heard of lands both far and near
where wealth beyond tale can conceive.
With rivers deep and mountains sheer
for the brave to challenge and reave.
I heard of them and I believe
this call that moves me to explore.
I should follow my heart and weave
the path where none has gone before.

Through legends spread by foe and peer,
my head and heart do wish me leave
the comforts of my home so dear
to seek the thrills that I perceive.
The first to achieve and retrieve
power and fame I can’t ignore,
the tug on the conqueror’s sleeve,
the path where none has gone before.

I’m confident in what I hear,
stand ready with sword, shield, and greave.
No time for mortal dread nor tear.
No time to cause angst or aggrieve
the loss of friend or kin bereave.
I sail to explore a new shore
and swear on death I will not leave
the path where none has gone before.

I seek your audience and ear
to beg, my dear Prince; I implore
your blessing, funds, and ships to steer
the path where none has gone before.

How Can We

How can we
kiss another
but
love each other.
How can we
laugh
with another
but
cry for each other.
When she is gone
I'm the one you run to.
That shouldn't be.
Why can't I be free?
You are the noose around my neck.
I should stop thinking about thee.
Here soon we shall never see again.
Does that greave thee
as it grieves me.
It shouldn't greave me.
But sometimes when he leaves me alone
it does.
His family talks of wedding rings.
I hope to marry him,
but first I have to wash my hands
free of thee.
After 3 years of loving thee,
it's hard to think of a life without thee.
Does it greave you
as it grieves me?

Premium MemberMy Barn,Warehouse, Storehouse Fulfilled

My Barn, my Warehouse, Storehouse is fulfilled
A building of raw materials
A glass mirror to reflect a clear image
That I may see far ahead of no hidden image
Supplies have been given
My needs, wants, and desires has been fulfilled
According to His riches in heaven has been revealed
Where the enemy can not kill, destroy, or steal
What a deal He has given to us
Turning rust into dust no more curse.

The supplies He Has given to all of us
No-fuss, no-rust, no-curse
This is what I must do to receive
Open my heart to believe
No greave, no disbelieve just achieve.

My Barn,my Warehouse, my Storehouse fulfilled
with substances of quantity, quality revealed
You may ask is it real
Only if you believe, receive, achieve and it will be revealed.

Better To Love

Nothing stays the same,

We sing, we dance,
We weep,

And we grieve for what was,
For what might be,

And so we love,
For it's better to love,

We dance,
For it's better to dance,

And we chase the end of rainbows,

Better this,

Then stand at the side,
And just

Watch.

What Did I Do

What did i do,
To deserve all this?
The pain, the fear,
Caused by my miss.

What did i do,
To cause distress?
Wanting to die,
Due to my mistress.

What did i do,
To make her blame?
For all i've done,
Gone up in a flame.

What did i do,
To make her leave?
With no goodbye,
And she'll never greave.

What did i do,
To live in pain?
And end my life,
And begin again.

What did i do?
Why is it me?
How did this happen?
Why can't she see?

That i live in pain,
And i want to die.
That she's done the same,
Now i say goodbye.

Really

Real life or cartoon?
God's image or baboon?
Truth or fiction?
His voice or intuition?
It's true and really happened?
On His Word can we depend?

The story of our life
With peace and an afterlife
Is not a fairy tale
But as certain as inhale; exhale
Life and breath; truth be told
To each and all, be bold!

As for the children we'll see
They depend on you and me
So teach them the Bible, God's Word
The difference of it or what's overheard
The old, old story of Jesus is true.
Nothing just made up or "out of the blue".

We can have hope and believe
There will be joy for all who greave
Love so true it heals and fills
Each heart with peace and thrills
So rest assured today
There is a Way.

There is a real purpose to aim toward
We can have Heaven's reward
And a life
Void of strife
We can choose to obey
Be a Christian and faithful stay.

Defend Thy Bonus

Defend Thy Bonus!
(For Boris and Those City Boys of London)

“They’ll leave! They’ll leave!”
He cried, with a look of sheer panic
In those innocent blue eyes
“And ‘The City’ will be poorer without them....!” (he lied).

“Let them go! Let them go!” I cried
In fact let me help them pack
So I can be sure they won’t come back
After, of course, they have all got the sack

Alright the GDP might wheeze
Cough, splutter and sneeze,
But I for one won’t greave,
Oh how I do wish they would leave.

From Kenya With Love

Five o'clock it is
gray sky slowly turning heavier than this
one by one
the birds fly they too are done
and by the dance of the greave
i take its time i take my leave.

Another day bout to make a bow.

Ha!
rain drops just now
adding to my wow
to get to my warm house
take off this blouse
and snuggle next to my spouse...

Haha!
Till tomorrow God willing
have yourself an evening that is thrilling!
.... ....... ...... ..... ....... ...... ..... .....
Chheeerrrss!!!
From Kenya with love!
xoxo!!!

Compelled

Let me close shut and bring the end of your story
Greave in the pain that I bring as my hears pounds
Limbs of a mantis as they strip in america's glory
Scream into your ear can hear the deafening sounds?
'
The hate I harbor is more than can be expelled
My eyes begin to drown in the devils adrenaline
Break apart your fingers I feel so compelled
Your gushing meat is that of rotting venison
'
Cringe in pleasure to the hearing of your scream
This distinction lets you feel my beating breath
Poor the warm bucket of blood into the stream
You will not yet see the heinous face of death
'
This pleasure withers throughout me to no end
Chisel your backbone and let the blood out
Taking pictures then letting people see is what I intend

Against the Current

I grew up climbing mountains
Walking against the current
Always looking for a meaning for home
My mind keeps throwing at me those thoughts like painful rocks
Trying to find answers for questions larger then the capacity of my mind
Time keeps on passing
I’m still fighting with feelings I will never understand
Day by day growing old
Always calculating the years of my age
Satisfied that I’m simply bigger year by year
My life did not stop in spite of everything
But knowing that I have become no more then a stone
Makes me shiver
Dissatisfied when looking at what I have done in my life
Where nothing can be found
I was always different
Never understood
Disappoint by many
Today starting from now
Sadness, depression
I will not give them the honor of occupying the pages of my life
I will greet tomorrow with a bright smile
I will celebrate my birthday
And not greave about the years that’s lost
I will move on
Seal my doors tightly
With every step I well plant flowers that will never wilt
I will search new memories
That does not exist where disappointments and fractures

Bombs

We're running late, and we have to leave.
"Come on" my mother yells as she's stressing more than I.
While in a rush I hit my shin and feel I need to greave.
I see my dog wag her tail as I shout "Goodbye."

We're getting close almost there.
And that's when I hear it as if it's shouting in my ear.
And then i realize it's bombs as i think "Why there?"
Then it hits me like a rock and i get a sudden fear.

Grandma, Grandpa, even cousin Ash,
are all gone and are never coming back.

Kalie's Prayer For Mommy

Kalie’s Prayer for Mommy

It’s been three years a world of tears but there’s something you must know
I rest within our Father’s arms no choice but had to go

So wait dear mother faith can heal, I need you to believe
The gift of hope for every man is precious to receive

So mommy… wait, please listen now…. I whisper in your dreams
You must not greave I’m safe and sound I know how long it seems

I’m waiting in this world of light a place there is no harm
The day will come I’ll see your face and hold you in my arms.

My love will take you back to me I hold you in my heart
Please live a life of love and joy I’m fine you need to start

God will choose the day we meet we’ll sing and dance and twirl,
that day throughout eternity you’ll hold me…… your little girl.

APOM (for Ashley and her Mom)

Vintage Season

Dew dots the folicles of the earth,
raised in static praise of what came and left,
what dreams did come.

Blades drank down to dirt and marrow,
parched and harrowed, juandiced in the light of Ra.
But he has gone the way of Tiamat.

Now may stray tears enter the cyclical fray;
the dividing line, terminus heralding the coming of the day.
A vintage season, come to stay and greave for the end of an age.

Suicide

I had a friend who died,
maybe he thought we wouldn't mind.

I knew he had a soft heart,
but killing yourself wasn't all too smart.

We all miss you so dear, Steve,
did you think maybe I would be the one to mostly greave?

When you had died that night,
I didn't even have the chance to say my final good-bye.

Steve, I really miss you, too,
I never even got to say that I loved you.

I think about you everyday,
maybe you stand by me till this very day.

I think you may have died in 1997,
but at least you're now in Heaven.

I hope you can hear this,
'cause this is my newest lyric.

I hope I've made you proud,
because this is my new sound.

I know everyday I have to be strong,
because you loved my mom.
