"Fathoms Deeper"
What are these strange creatures?
They swim in skins
not their own
calling us
into them
they amuse us
we are fathoms deeper
they
are a long way

Up and Down Australia's Gold Coast
All the hotels are prone to boast:
"You can ask your host
For Marmite on toast
But beware the Vegemite ghost!"
Khaki lapped mangroves, sun bouncing transferred
Journeys bright flashes along branches texture
Conveyerbelt spot lights glide, bright pattern superb
Bath tidal shallow travels water's gold reflection
High heat subdued by horse tail tassled foliage
Sea loving pine hung in bunches, long drapes swung
Salty silt bed rigid roots drink in river knowledge
Steady light slide show rhythms calm dance among
Hectic city spectacle, hulk forty storey bulk surly
Gaped naked windows glare against cement facade
Dominate diminished dunes, emit shadows early
Rough road map arms umbrella mangroves in mirage
A million miles distance gifted in fifty metre gap
Delicate crescent of white sand, best spot on globe
Display of unreal critters crawl warm yellow sap
Dappled place of sanctuary spurs disco bulb strobe

I’m having a Kericho gold cup of tea
from a red, merry kettle.
I’ve brewed my Kericho Gold leaves;
they’re ever so special.
Tea grown on the Gold Coast,
in volcanic Kenyan soil.
I’ll sip quite a toast;
A nourishing, catechin dose.
Rich succulence flows
a bold, gold delight
The next tea party I host
I’ll serve it up, right.
My last tea party
I held on the moon;
unfortunately, a moon bee
made it end, way too soon.
Kericho Gold – A specially blended tea from leaves grown in Kenya.
Great White Sharks are a Gold Coast wonder
Though crocodiles may steal their thunder
But all surfers know
It is time to go
When kangaroos line up Down Under
O' Mother Ghana
O' mother Ghana, how proud am i to be your grand son
My skin so black from the burn of the sun
For a woman to head a country shows your bravery
You won us our freedom from our colonial masters during the slavery
You are a brave African black beauty
Even at the age of sixty
Your red,yellow,green and black wrapper makes you look bold
How can you go hungry when you farm cocoa and mine gold
Despite your bravery,you are known world wide as a mother of peace
Whiles other parents are still struggling for peace
O' mother Ghana, embrace us with your warm loving heart
Your African cultures will forever dwell in our hearts
Gone were the days when those masters called you Gold Coast
Now you are an independent woman and with that you can boast
You first son the brave intellectual Dr. Kwame Nkrumah
And your handsome and beautiful grand children Kofi and Ama
You serve as with Banku with grinded pepper,Fufu with Groundnut soup and other delicious meals
We love you mother Ghana
May you live long O mother Ghana.
They say, “Nessie is dead”,
because there haven’t been sightings, for years.
Ogopogo still lives, as does M’okele M’bembe.
What if they are one in the same?
Oceans, caves and caverns,
are spanning the globe;
what lies within its bowels,
remains undefined.
Perhaps, “Nessie”, tires of being ogled;
spends the summers in Lake Okanagan and
winters in the warm, Gold Coast waters?
Perhaps, Nessie ages in a warmer,
more private climate?
Why stop and smile for the
underwater cameras?
Even water giants, can be…
Paparazzi-shy...
Ancient and time-worn legends,
Never really die;
perhaps fracked earth,
has simply added another room,
to her lair;
a secret hide away?
What's a dollar worth?
Well years ago it was worth a dollar.
Now it's worth a lot closer to two cents than a dollar.
The reason....www....can't be put any planner...
More and more people go on line www daily...
The old cheer 2 bits 4 bits 6 bits a $
All for (state your team) stand up and holler...
Well..that's about gone
8 bits=$1
This was years ago...
Now 8 bits = 1 byte...2 widows mites...2pennies...
Here's some binary metrics for you ...the future worth of a dollar (sic) next to computer memory
2^^3[1(2^^10-10))] or 8 bits = 1 byte or 1PENNY
2^^3[1(2^^10-0)] or 8192 Bytes = 1 dollar , 1dollar = 8192 Bytes
2^^3[1(2^^10+10)] or 8388608 bytes = 10 dollars
10 dollars = 8388608 bytes
It's far beyond 2 dollars = a penny , 3 dollars = a penny etc...
My sister in gold coast New south Wales oz, said dear brother
It's only gonna get worse before I re it gets better.
I think this is what she meant
DREAMING HOME…
In cosmic dreams,
I’ve waded the Nile
In golden Nubian sunsets;
Felt the warm breath
Of Sahara breeze
Kiss my cheeks;
Made my bed in tall savanna grass
And cooled my soul
In rain forest dew;
I’ve crouched beneath Gold Coast palms:
A palm wine drunkard…
Arms flung wide;
My soul
Has soared
Atop Uhuru Peak:
Yes,
I too,
Dream of Africa.
LIKE A TREE PLANTED BY THE WATERS
Though stolen, I never left you: remaining
Like a keloid
Etched across your healing womb.
The umbilical flow of a river never
Empties itself of its source.
Thus I wade backwards to the genesis
Of my being;
And grow like a tree planted by the waters:
And I shall not be moved.
From my Nile and Gold Coast waters beginnings
I shall not be moved.
From my blackness, I can no longer be
Sold.
From my blackness, I can no longer be
Cajoled.
From my blackness, I can no longer be
Ostracized.
From my blackness, I can no longer be
Comprised.
My sable Sahara soul is indelibly free
As I want to be.
Like God, Africa is, and I am, like a tree planted
By the waters:
And I shall not be moved.
At the Gold Coast
Parched and dry I stand,
Waiting and recalling
thirsty for your love,
At the Gold Coast
we met last summer,
Under the blue
on the sandy gold,
Memories afresh
Soothing winds unfold !
Your deep dark eyes that
pierced into my heart
Our tale of passion
at first sight did start,
That mighty embrace!
Melting emotions
with heat of breaths,
Tranquillised by
waves that covered by!
An impulse borne away
with every breath,
The most generous one
made me its slave,
Then the tyrant in both
of us well played,
Skin next to my skin,
thinnest air between
simply slipped by,
Intolerance precipitates
setting my soul ablaze,
Make love to me
in this ancient place,
Tears lost in time
and beats not keeping pace,
Wanderlust of my soul
ends at the Gold Coast,
My heavenly abode !

One Autumn day
The day we met at the gold coast,
Beauty of yellow and orange was a toast,
Pleasant breeze was giving a caress,
Colourful fall was sure to impress,
As I intruded deep into his heart and spied,
All conflicts were then kept at bay,
How lovely was that autumn day!
