Into the abyss
I look in to see
Peeking over, to discern
Her looking up at me.
Reptile cold and slithe,
I slither through the dewy blades,
And writhley race across the glade.
A lumping creature,
Limpling, legless loping,
Filled with their plastic dopamines.
Wet with amnion, glistening,
Halting in the flatlands,
No colour lights my way,
My brain is shriveled, stupid
Human thought so far away.
My mind a blackhole vacuum
Leaving naught alive
I eat up ash and dirt
Living only to survive.
Pulsating log, flicking tongue
To smell the sour air.
My mind consumes it
Swallowed whole,
Leaving me no feeling.
Absent, that sacral dome of thought,
Vacuous cranium, filled with
Negative nothings,
Not a word of right or wrong.
In that chasm, to which I look again
I see my steady gaze returned
Regurgitated, digested meat
A meal for hungry birds.

Some people have jackets.
The jackets have wrinkles from sitting in the closet.
We have been trapped in our winter coats for so long.
The afternoon creeps in.
By then,
Some people don’t have jackets at all!
Their jackets are fluttering in their stern arms.
Windy but warm.
The wind is trying to eat up everyone’s hats off their head.
Restaurants are dusting off their patio tables.
The crowd is sitting and chatting outside,
Making spring complete.
Until tomorrow when winter returns.
Until tomorrow when the snow blows back in.
But for now, we are shedding our jackets.
On this Michigan February day.

Human’s ready to serve
Zombie’s flesh crave
Human’s have no time left
Hungry in wanting
Appetite in needing
Thirst for blood
Head to toe serving
Eat day and night
Human’s get no sleep in plight
Total darkness with no light
Danger Danger Danger
Zombies enter
Eat in content
Flesh to bones
Never be alone
Zombie eat up

I am young but I have grown up
some, and with a new job set up
now, plus home and car all got up
here, thanks to how I was brought up.
Interviewed with the higher-up
then, the foreman and I met up
and, got things before I start up,
turned, the crew gave me a thumbs up.
The work, like my past jobs, speed-up
so I had no time to warm up
cause, 'twas busy now we're caught up
in time for lunch, we all eat up.
'Twas a great first day as we wind up,
... byes and smiles that just lift me up.

Churches bow to the pulpit, time to confess your sins
Crocodile tears over evil acts that you know you'll perform again
So tell yourselves that all is forgiven, and that inside you're okay
But behind the heart of you hypocrites, demons shriek all day
Paint your white picket fences, those values you hold so dear
One day you'll realize that all that you love will someday disappear
There is no reward, no great meeting, no happily ever after
But an endless void that will eat up those scared pastures
So run and hide, those of you who believe
All the lives you ruined because of things you can't even perceive
The demons that lurk in darkness as you say
Are yourselves in mirrors, so get down and pray
We are the future and your foundations are dying
The end of oppression over us with all of your lying
Stronger we grow, so fear us, we are coming soon
Those who hold so closely imaginary religion that will shortly be in ruin
And not everyone in these places are so bad
But the loudest majority, which is what is so sad

This long day has come to a close,
don't regret the vocation you chose;
drink up, your work is done!
Drink up, life only offers wine,
it's a brief pause from insane worries
and unaccomplished things!
Drink up, it's the moment of desired rest;
think about how hard was all your sweat,
drink up and look up you're so blessed...
you can peacefully sleep on your bed!
Cheer up, hold up your shining cup;
drink up, eat up, leave no chump!
Be filled to the brim and start to dance;
it's a swell time to rekindle romance!
Let these be the longest hours before dusk,
break your glass and wish yourself some luck;
will tomorrow change anything you strongly wish?
What's your dream money or something to cherish?
Drink up, it's the moment of desired rest;
sit down and let stress out of your chest,
breathe easily, think how good is calmness;
drink up, drink up and worry much less!
Drink up, your work is done...
your worries are all gone!

Pill junkie was born in the closet in May
He popped out yelling “Hi neighbor” the very first day.
We did not know how to respond or what to say.
What do you eat? I asked him, socializing away.
I eat up all the pills you were throwing away.
This was easy cooking for me, so I said, “please stay”.
He has consumed all the old pills of Jeff, Johnny and Jay.
He tells me he loves naps in the closet, sleeping away.
We wonder what will happen next Saturday.
By then pill junkie might not have any reason to say.
Because he is now devouring the pills of sweet Grandma May.
But if we cannot find any more pills, will he have a reason to stay?

Disturbed forbidden valentine
you level me and that’s the draw;
I’ll be all yours if you be mine;
Your roughness I wouldn’t refine,
I eat up what’s enticing, raw;
Disturbed forbidden valentine;
Profile’s bent and that’s by design,
left is right when you’re a southpaw;
I’ll be all yours if you be mine;
Cliche’ of shivers down my spine,
there lies the appeal of an outlaw;
Disturbed forbidden valentine;
Two hearts completely intertwine,
ignoring each red flag and flaw;
I’ll be all yours if you be mine;
Rage at a different baseline,
holding my neck and a handsaw;
Disturbed forbidden valentine
I’ll be all yours if you be mine.

Let me tell you a story about
Merlin the Magical Cat
He could conjure up the best magical spells
but couldn't keep himself from being fat
He would eat up
all the treats
and then would go hunt down more
critters and creatures to eat
But he would try his magic
to reduce his gut
but the fat would just
rearrange towards his butt
"Meow, meow, meow!"
he would scream
Why oh why were the laws of nature
so mean!
So he decided to go on
an exercise program
where he would jog and run each day
along side his man
It worked as he grew skinnier
and skinnier
His magic in this instance was not needed
he was the winnier!

Come in and sit a spell the waitress said.
The diner’s lights were blinking red.
I’ll bring you the special. No charge today.
She went to the back, way far away.
We heard her yell “Two side bars for my new friends.”
She brought back a board that had weight; it bends.
There were biscuits, gravy, sausage, pie- and black-eyed peas.
Just coffee today, I said, “If you please.”
That old waitress gave me the evil devil’s eye.
“You had best eat up, and I’ll tell you why….
We were just closing up and I made the grouchy cook stay”.
I gobbled it all down and was sick the very next day.

"There is no God," says the fool in his heart:
Dreadful, depraved, nowise good, even part.
The LORD looks down on the children of man,
sees if they seek him, if they understand.
Corrupt, all have turned aside, everyone
there is none who does good, not even one.
Of Him, no knowledge, not even a shred.
They eat up His people as they eat bread,
snubbing their peril, blind to the terror;
God's with the righteous, not those in error.
O man, you who shame the plans of the poor,
do you not perceive? The LORD will restore.
When, LORD, salvation? When will it be had?
Let Jacob rejoice, Israel be glad!
