Too hot too hot yells the boy then he shouts      
with four little waifs on the run he has clout 
they jerk him around 
by a swimming ground 
poor little guy soaked and wet, like a trout

others plump your pillow
you hope to see everyone
before you close your eyes to them
they’ve dressed you in a lovely nightie
cast away opened-back hospital gown
you lay on death’s chest-  there’s nothing to fear
painfully know you have to let

fairy tale
from a children’s book

toss away this
silly dream
from the dead of night

toss away the
lovely girl
from your bleary sight.

ancient chant
from your memory.

As I drive down this lonely road
Wondering when it will end
I see my heart among the snow
Cold and alone laying with tire tracks

A beautiful sight to the eyes
But to this heart it waits to melt
The sun has not risen in many years
Just waiting for the snow plow

            my soul mate and lover I am now viciously dependent alone

Cast Away

Tomorrow never came
And still throughout the deepest of love
So divine, a taste of sweetness 
Thoughts controlled by one mind
Hopelessly I'll dream but only for one
I love only one
I've loved only once
Simple minds make powerful love
But who shall I love?
If love only came once
Empty hearts- tasteless thoughts
A sweet gesture before we depart
Whispers, cries of lust
Love stories

Cast Away

Silence me-
Hush my breath,
Whisper a feather, your kiss.
Defy dawn’s fast approach.

Could fate have proclaimed such a beauty,
Golden webs weaved entwining our souls?
Or has God blessed this union,
As our conjurer of love?

Perfection, my dear, is flown long last,
And gifted to the heart.
Sweep me away so that we may stay,
Forever one in eternity.

Cast away she remains,
On the deserted island of sadness

Looking around she wonders
Where has everyone else gone that made her feel loved?

Are they hiding amongst the driftwood memories?
Or have they left her there to die alone...

Tomorrow, she knows the sun will rise again,
But for today she succumbs to the darkness of her mind once more
