Locked down my mind gone away

Even just the faintest light
In this so dark world;
To prove one’s presence alone
Can cast away all shadows.
Cast away these moods of blight!
And turn towards the light
My dear, your future `s frankly bright.
So the bullet bite
Rejoice in your good fight!

Footprints in the soft ground

The light I see within your eyes
shines like a million suns
with darkness vanquished, cast away
to never be outdone
Your heart I see, it resonates
a love that beats, at core
allowing me to know you well
and never want for more
isn't it so funny, how serious we take life
we have to put ourselves above the others
and we call this journey strife
truly all the pressure, comes to us from deep within
and if we were, worth our measure
we would cast away this sin
