He is my white knight in shining armor and my own black haired prince.
He was found to be reviving my love for him from ever since
We had to learn how to love each other so much again.

Our neighbor’s long black haired cat
killed all five baby birds in nest
nestled in evergreen tree in front of house,
the wife and I decorate for Christmas each year.
The animal kingdom is cruel.
Only the strong survive, though in this case.
The well fed house cat allowed to roam outside
with nothing but time on its hands to cause mischief .
Like when I was a kid, out all day shoplifting,
just for the hell of it.
Oh, you African!
Of cocoa skin and black-haired
Like your judgments
You African!
The lamb in the elections
Son of the people, wandering in the dying neighborhoods
With your sweet and spoken worldly pretentions
Hiding your ties, leaning of lions
Uou African, black as the charcoal
Of heart as the darkness
looks at the White! look at the glitter!
but you left the moodle
Ignored the guides, the witchcraft
And infiltrated yourself in the Avé Mariah
Becoming despaganized Christian
why did you lie to us? Why?
Why did you hide yourself, why?
Why did you steal our wills?
You are not lamb, You are black wolf
We are already sinners to burn
This hell and the upcoming
And the flames of worms, dead alive
Ah! Revered Beloved Black
Heavy are your sins both hidden as revealed
that they rise with the clamour
Of the pregnant women, the virgins and the young men
Without bread, water, without light
And you there in your sublime throne glittering
But only a king has his throne, Jesus the Narazeth
And this is not thou, black brother
I write upon my twisted trails of fairytales
Whereby some arcane beauty is defined
As meek blonde girls sweeping the coals
No chance to dance at balls
Hoping only for pity from some magic elf
Or a royal's fetish for tiny feet
But now she's shattering those mirrors of deceit
crossing out lies left too long on the shelf
She needs no prince to break her walls
No damsel wrote this scroll
while the black haired adventurer partakes of wine
riding on backs of disappearing whales
whose red shadows splash over purple pirate sails
by colors erupting outside gray lines
as she cuts holes in paper souls
of heartless paper dolls
Once she rescues herself from this passive pale self
she will quiver the air with her drumbeats

A girl approached me in the street
After bedtime, on my way home
After closing time; still on my way home
She asked if I had something to drink
She said I could do anything I wanted; to her
I let her walk on by; all alone
Tall, black-haired and sad
On my way home
I thought about
What would have happened
If she had swapped
Those two sentences
If she had said I could do anything i wanted; first
Then she would have been
Tall, dark-haired and thirsty
Oscillating fans here and there in the house,
Naps in a cool cement basement,
Folding fans on an evening porch,
Dry breezes after twilight.
The ice man with tongs holding a 50-lb cube,
Throwing it into a heavy wooden ice box,
Galvanized and painted like porcelain inside
And a tub underneath to catch the melting to empty.
A grape arbor in the backyard where a little girl played
With a black-haired dolly named Jane,
The ice man mussed her hair and smiled
As he went on his merry way.
And then Daddy’s homemade cooler,
A big box lined with excelsior,
A pipe around the top with holes punched
Attached to the yard hose to drip.
In the box was a big oscillating fan
He bought second hand from a bank,
His water cooler was the talk of the town,
His ingenuity to thank.
We splashed in the yard in our bathing suits,
There were no home pools, few trees, no shortage of laughter,
Fun was fun hot or cool,
We got by happy ever after.
My blue hair women paintings are surprisingly fun,
But the most interesting are my blue black haired combo.
I know this because I am staring at them now.
Pony-tailed, hatted, hanging, one doing the mambo.
I always thought the pink hairs would be the most “ut”.
My pink cats and dragons have them completely topped.
If I counted all the flowers and hearts on my walk.
I would laugh at my ludicrous self, that I could have never stopped.
Painting has been a most enjoyable hobby to me.
It has kept me out of relatives’ squabbles galore.
Entertaining me in every which way and wild.
Keeping me away from cleaning which I truly abhor.
VIOLET LIPSTICK
She was . . . smiling into me,
Her eyes, in mine, asking me
"Sir, what do you want to order?".
I could not speak
I could only see
her violet lipstick.
I quickly, shyly, adverted my eyes.
I did not see that she was tall, shapely,
black-haired and pretty -
did my racial mind blink?
Not.
What does race matter
when it comes to beauty
and violet lipstick!
I have never seen it before,
violet, this exoticpassion hue
on a woman, a goddess,
or a black angel.
I thought she must have
beautiful eyes, but I could not
stop looking at her lips.
I mumbled my order
and fell
in love
with life
again.
Beautiful, busty black haired gypsy girls
looking at me
like they want to steal my heart
and keep the money they find in my back pocket
Those beautiful gypsy girls
rolling through my town
showing leg and drinking champagne
for no reason what so ever
and the one thousand year old grandmother
with five hundred granddaughters
and they all are looking at me
all those eyes pointed at me
and my heart skips beats,
each one take my heart
and a penny from my pocket.
To the black haired girl,
the foolish girl who lost me,
And made me lose myself
I have news for you...
Those pictures we took
Those notes we wrote to each other
Those paintings we exchanged
Those memories
you remember-
I threw all those memories into
an old ragged shoe box
and drove myself to a bridge
on a cold night
and I lit a cigarette
while that flame was still burning
I tossed the lighter into that shoe box
and burned you away
Burning out the past
all those promises burnt away
and tossed into that freezing cold river
Now, you're gone
and I am finally happy
and glad you are out of my life for good.
Could you blame me though
for holding on for so long?
Decades of mystic dreamers have worn the path
trod across the leys, coupling pairs within Stonehenge.
Beneath the Wiltshire skies cornflower blue; they lust,
lotus-eaters, loose-limbed, seeking a blessed outcome.
With longing strides-- they reach, climbing earthen berms
to add their lovers song to move with the cycles.
Some take the blessed day, others wait the pearly moon.
See her so fairy fair dressed in naught but moonlight?
Watch his black-haired beast rise once encircled by her arms.
Back pressed against the dolmens, her heels wreath his waist
as virgin blood runs red like the holly berries
to feed the holy earth, she'll bear his child; she trusts.
A black-haired dirty thinker
your words invade my head;
where lust and thirst become me
and love will see me dead.
Your body build a sailing ship.
Your keel at my back.
Your nods upon the ocean-
my death from your attack.
A bum to form a segment.
A fruit as firm as day.
A touch to stun the surface.
A helm to clear the way.
She is so beautiful
that my heart can love no other,
but only her;
she sees me for a ghost
and my heart has no courage
to tell her my own true feelings.
She so lovely,
when she laughs
she brightens the world;
when she smiles,
she makes my heart laugh
and she makes me feel alive.
She is so kind,
she makes the birds fly high,
the rivers flow,
and the ravens sing songs,
as the merry deer prances away
all cheerful and in love.
She is my one and only,
my world, my love song,
my moon, my star, my sun,
my spring, fall and winter.
She is my rose, my sweet, beautiful rose,
my black haired angel beauty,
who I love so dearly;
she is my everything...
Only if she knew how much she means too me.
.12.22.2013.
Your honey laden affections
captured me from the taste
of your first deep kiss
and my eyes melted into yours...
Your soft smooth hands
prompting my innermost desires
as you caressed my chest
with a soothing touch of adoration...
It's only you, you, black haired youth
with your dark skin and nocturnal eyes
and rubies glowing on your lips
it's only you I see, nobody but you...
You dark angel, yes, of my fantasies
the ideal shape I see in the afternoons
who whispers sweet seductive words
repeated by the autumn breeze...
Only you i have felt this way
a most tender elated anticipation
you've filled my hours with delight
you've spawned new life within me...
