The Mane Event - On The Catwalk
And now for something completely different! I invite you to experience this unique blend of music, where this dynamic video brings to life the essence of anthropomorphism, in an entertaining portrayal, highlighting creatures with human-like traits - a total figment of my fertile imagination.
Meet a lion 'With Attitude' so regal and fierce, as he prowls and sets the 'Catwalk' ablaze with his mighty roar, leaving a trail of awe, admiration and respect of the other jungle animals, and capturing the hearts of the lionesses. It's an auditory and visual feast, playing with themes of royalty, bravado, and humour.
Step into the vibrant spectacle of a jungle runway, 'The Mane Event'- On The Catwalk, a Blues Rock anthem bursting with charisma and wit, entertained by an elegantly dressed animal band and set to the gritty and soulful sounds and combines electric guitar riffs with stomping beats and deep, smoky vocals, inspired by iconic figures like the MGM lion. It combines realism with playful, cartoon-like elements set in a fantastical realm.
How does this bold and cheeky lion 'With Attitude' resonate with you? Could you see him becoming a legend on the animal runway?

Happiness is scattering herbs of kindness,
watering weathered willows in the wilderness.
Happiness is following lavender streaks of twilight~
gliding across cerulean skies, so bright.
Happiness, a synonymous noun for my precious son,
his lyrical laughter, mirrors the rose moon and sun.
Happiness is wildflower wishes that free flow~
woven with sunflower syllables, amidst inked woe.
Happiness is the dahlia sanctuary of my beloved’s heartbeat,
as home is a frangipani feeling in his poetic retreat.
Happiness is reminiscing magic within violet vapors,
recoloring mauve meadows on watercolor wallpapers.
Happiness is walking away from deceptive witches,
alone, wearing cashmere cardigans with no lethal stitches.
Happiness is indulging in the chocolate flavor, so sweet,
when my cousin bakes hearty muffins, together we eat.
Happiness soars from magnetic melodies of an electric guitar,
harmonizing diamond serenades of my twin-star.
Happiness is an endless emotion of peaceful purification,
when soul feels warmth through internal perfection.
In appreciation of Jimi Hendrix and Mary Shelley
I am sick of minor authorities,
and my boring life, and those stupid fools -
of my job, order, and priorities.
Strike this mundane existence and these rules.
Rise, Jimi, with your electric guitar.
Ghost of your wild, psychedelic flower -
flash stirring midnight lightning from afar.
Jolt me with true, tempestuous power.
Nature, release me from the doldrums' grip,
Blast away, these cloudless, temperate days.
Come on baby, bring it. Now, let 'er rip.
Light up this flesh, these bones through purple haze,
Like Frankenstein and his beautiful wife,
the lightning and thunder bring this beast life.
A musician resting in a spar,
Was playing his electric guitar,
An almighty spark
Plunged his home into dark,
He was left with a musical scar.
soft caresses sit on no evil stars
gently fall down like electric guitar rain
rhythmic motion of rainlike caresses
beat to a drum
rhythmic motion of rainlike caresses
gently fall down like electric guitar rain
soft caresses sit on no evil stars
"Classical Gas" was a family tune
With horns and percussion, drums and bass too
It played through my youth, down the stairs
In a basement set up for a band, in their lair
Trumpets,slingerlands, electric guitar
Bass, tambourine,much music from afar
From Beatles,Ike and Tina, Chicago too
My brothers and friends played upwards till "two"
Al Hirt, Al Green, the theme from "Hawaii-five- O"
Was practiced for hours preparing for a show
A lead singer would arise out of the crew
Singing "Proud Mary" more times than a few
My parents were smart had insulated the home
So upstairs only the bass would reverberate and roam
Allowing their children to experiment in sound
While upstairs classical music was always around
This family grew playing music just so
Their children played piano, viola, clarinet and banjo
Guitar was a staple for many it seems
One carried the brass section,a band of all dreams
At Christmas and holidays after dinner was done
Round the piano we'd sit ,listen and sing for fun
Playing music and singing together in time
Reminders of my youth a time that was fine
Remembering my dad's voice singing many hymns
Show tunes, ballads, anything it seems
'Twas a joyful experience shared over the years
Now just remembering can bring me to tears.
First day at the college with my new car,
as I wanted to make it perfect.
Yes, dressed like a rock star.
You know! How choosy we really are..
As to our whole world, it does affect.
And I was nervous, standing along the girls with cigarette and cigar.
Then I met a boy, who lived very far.
A boy sweet enough, with a brain and intellect.
He made my day, as sweet as chocolate bar.
I had heard a lot of stories all bizarre.
About my seniors and what they object.
And like a hot cake, the stories spread in bazaar.
Then came a man with a scar.
I got intimidated and my voice trembled as I reflect.
But he was a nice man, who had just parked my car.
All my lectures were equal to tar.
And one teacher, was keen on destroying every object
By the third lecture, all I wanted was to run away like a jaguar
Once more I saw that sweet boy beside my car.
Yes, I think we had something to connect.
Now he is my best friend and we rock like an electric guitar.
Like superstars from America to Myanmar.
Homey eyes of peasant stew
A cozy-colored mossy mew
Stony cottage, snowcheeks bleu
The forest fins for frosted fruits.
The warmest thought speaks crumbly bread
A partridge purr puffs through my head
That grants the grunkest grue a ‘Get!’
To packrat out the paquerettes.
Don’t see the speech I say with sneer
As something to be had with beer
Don’t bucker bricks of buttered bleers
And sift strunk talk through quandarous weirs.
The clothes and shelter of your mouth
Has cleaned my frame as cold as south
For queeks are quay, oh when you quoth
And yokel twirls are yaws of youth.
Clearings clean, as cream is crisp
With cluffs of clementine in risp
The grout of your cuts, freed of lisps
Your watch turns wandering whelks to whisps.
Sweet as sneezes from a lamb
As cozy as a Christmas ham
To jaunt with you with bread and jam
Is all I am, is all I am…
A blanket for the rawest nerve
A babe beyond the laws of earth
A smile sways the swooping surf
And gifts sweet goods of grinning girths.
Your hair? An electric guitar!
With sprinkles of suburban stars
Might smell of smelting lemon bars
Each strand a sacred seminar.
That hark the realms of Everfar!
And halt the helms of Neverare!
That licks the lich that leavens scars!
Screams “Non septimo, sempris quar!”
I believe you’re Good, I mean you’re blessed
With holy elks that guard your breast
Whose rumps remain on royal chests
And watch for wendigos out West.
A soul of Greyhound bus views darkly
Hushed in cornfields crumps so starkly
With windmills waning wicks so barky
Olive Garden oligarchies.
Clearings clean, as cream is crisp
With cluffs of clementine in risp
The grout of your cuts, freed of lisps
Your watch turns wandering whelks to whisps.
Sweet as sneezes from a lamb
As cozy as a Christmas ham
To jaunt and jibe with you with bread and jam,
Is all I am, is all I am.
One unread, there goes that heart again
Beating fast for no apparent reason
Two missed calls, there goes that brain again
Leaving me to my emotions.Where is the devotion?
I''ll be damned if i become a slave to them
Three knocks on my door, there goes my sanity
Flying out through the window i just fixed
Five vowels, three consonants and a croissant
There goes my pride, evaporating into thin air
Along with my self-control as you call out my name
Tame yourself before my morality listens to my body
Surrendering to its every desire like a liar
I cant afford to ruin this pair, its brand new
Though i cannot lie that you have me dripping
Strumming myself like am an electric guitar hooked to your bass
Tugging my breasts like i'm trying to find you on the radio
I better control myself before the beast in me escapes
You make it sound like the worst thing, feed the beast
Let it roar in pleasure to every naked thought you have ever heard

I wanted to be
an electric guitar,
to vibrantly run my screams in
melodically riffs and solos...
Turning my pains into art...
But I'm just that... lone cello
how bitter and silent
dies of thirst in a corner
without performing any blues.... !
THE PUSSY CAT AND THE OWL
(With apologies to Edward Lear)
The Owl and the Pussycat went to sea
In a Sealink Hovercraft.
They took some hash and plenty of cash
Wrapped up in a banker’s draft.
The Owl looked up to Telstar above
And played to an electric guitar.
“I’d like to take you to Capri Pussy love,
But the lead wouldn’t reach that far - that far, that far.
But the lead wouldn’t reach that far.”
Pussy said to the Owl, “It’s perfectly foul,
The discords you play on that thing.
But I’d still like to marry - it’s your baby I carry.
We’d better look out for a ring.”
They sailed that night to the Isle of Wight.
The place where the tourist goes.
And there on the quay, a Punk they did see
With ring through the end of his nose.
Owl said, “Do you agree to sell for 5p your ring?”
Said the Punk, “I will not.”
So, unable to wed, they cohabit instead
With a commune at Cowes - in a squat.
They dine on the floor and have yoghurt galore
Which they eat with a white plastic spoon.
Then - with a new partner each, they go down to the beach
And smoke pot by the light of the moon, the moon, the moon.
And smoke pot by the light of the moon.

Artificial Intelligence has been around a long time: before Biden invented the wheel, was first man to step foot on the moon...before he crossed the Delaware to rout out the British, thus saving the colonies. Before Pete Buttigieg made safe the railways of the US. Before Barack Obama ended Racial Injustice. Before my first wife said that I was an experiment failed (what did she know!?) – before my parents hated the electric guitar (hmm...) – before the Natural High of God was replaced by formaldehyde laced weed. Before Clinton invented bleach. Before Harris saved the Southern Border from invasion, and is now headed to our Northern Border by flatulence filled balloon to make her explosive presence felt there as well (reader, please feel free to comment with your own be-fores)....
Yes I'm a metal head
Yes I write poetry
Yes this is the general concept of my story
And yes I'm usually hunky dory
Booming cords from the electric guitar
Echoing in my mind, heart racing faster than a flying car
Static it is to others,
It speaks to me softer than a sweet lover
As I write this very poem
I'm blasting metal from jvc headphones
Listening to instrumental metal,
Letting me fill in the words as my mind settles
I can still be sensitive and still enjoy headbanging
Just watch out for my long brown hair when it starts swinging
Music so loud my ears start ringing
But i don't care as long as my heart keeps singing
Jimi Hendrix-Played electric guitar with his teeth and left hand
Ripped through scales, held notes, used flames on stage on command
Janis Joplin- Rolling Stone—Her cover enthralling ”Me And Bobby Magee”
Mezzo-soprano vocals and an "electric" stage presence that’ll ever be
Mama Cass- Of "The Mamas And Papas" Singer Alto—perfect pitch
“California Dreamin” rumor she choked on a ham sandwich
Mama Cass was in the club too
but kicked her out because she was 32!
Jim Morrison- “L.A. Woman” His presence quite a sight to see
The Doors, his band, Jim’s buried in a famous Paris cemetery
Amy Winehouse- Jazz singer—her deep, expressive contralto vocals
New York bluesy new Motown sound, knew she’d die young say the articles
Kurt Cobain-Modern day Rock Icon died
lead singer & guitarist of Nirvana, by suicide
Although rumor has it was Courtney Love
Kurt’s death meant he joined the fabled 27 club
A few of “The 27 Club” Rock Stars that rocked me!
A dormant sadness erupts in me when their songs are played
Rock Stars are noted for their high-risk lifestyles
