Metalhead Poet

Yes I'm a metal head Yes I write poetry Yes this is the general concept of my story And yes I'm usually hunky dory Booming cords from the electric guitar Echoing in my mind, heart racing faster than a flying car Static it is to others, It speaks to me softer than a sweet lover As I write this very poem I'm blasting metal from jvc headphones Listening to instrumental metal, Letting me fill in the words as my mind settles I can still be sensitive and still enjoy headbanging Just watch out for my long brown hair when it starts swinging Music so loud my ears start ringing But i don't care as long as my heart keeps singing
