Premium Member Seems Like Yesterday Mystic

I step beyond my front door, shoes brushing dew
And the air is crisp, familiar-something old, something new.
The sky unfolds in pale gold, the sparrows sing the same tune,
And I swear, I've wandered here before, beneath the waking moon.
Sunlight dapples over lawns just as it always does,
Neighbors wave, dogs bark, the world's gentle hum abuzz.
Every scent, each rustle, is a whisper from the past:
The rustling trees greet me-echoes that forever last.
My feet trace the sidewalk cracks, memory's soft parade,
I know the way the breeze feels, the shifting light and shade.
Deja vu in every heartbeat, in every glance I steal-
It seems, like yesterday, this day was wholly real.
Yet, as I wander outward, with wonder and with grace,
I find new meaning hidden in every time-worn place.
Perhaps I've lived this day before, or dreamed it in the night,
But outside, in the morning sun, the world feels just as right.

Premium Member Dream Sequences Are For Fags

(“Bardo Dreams”, 2017, original mixed media encaustic)

Maybe so in Hollywood, yet
We all dream, not just fags,
And in our dreams we are all equal
Equal in being dreamers
Disembodied spirits on the way
No matter our sex, no matter our race
No matter our age or even species.
Disembodied spirits on the way
Dreaming like lovers do
Lovers of Life.

The great coat of wind and light

Patterning in, bathe in silhouettes of panes,
Vicinate high and low, the yellow gold.
Scrupulating in curtains' gleaming gold,
Freeze the sun in infinitum on floor.
Cold, not so cold, stir the winds - The soul.
Breathe in, my eyes the winds of Oxford.

Premium Member My Dream Within A Dream

Sometimes my dreams to me real
         I know I am awake.
Planning out my day’s events
   With good intentions make.
However, often cannot get.
To where I need to be.
No matter how hard I will try.
   Something is stopping me.

My vison then becomes quite blurred.
Why can’t I just move on?
I have a time frame to get there.
    I really should be gone.
Trapped in a force that holds me back.
I need a pair of wings.
And with that thought they will appear
   When blocked by silly things

Like a bird, I will soar high.
    Fly up into the blue.
I often dream, I’ve had this one.
   So great I’m telling you.
With no restrictions I am free
    Can go to anywhere.
Then in a flash, I am awake.
  My day then to prepare.
My Dream within a dream see!

“Strings of thoughts in my mind oft stream,
Asleep or half awake, like a dream
That soars in a while to the sky
Soon after I open my eyes.” By Author

My Dream Within a Dream

Lost in slumber, deep and still
I dream of a journey uphill
Strewn with thick thorns on the way
A scorching sun all through the day
Wild winds whirling without cease
Oft slogging with bruised knees
	Left to my own destiny
With no soul to goad me
As to brave the storms I strive
And at day`s end to survive

The view ahead of me is bright
Offering a picturesque sight
Each step I trudge raises me up
Leaving worries in a cup
With each step up, the air grows sweet
Though heavier become my feet
Yet I move, pulled by rays of hope
As the peak beams with new scope

Just when at top of the hill
Wild winds hurl me downhill
I quite wake up in sweats, with fright
Half asleep, under the moon`s light
I wonder with a soft scream
If life is a dream in a dream
An uphill battle to wage with steam.

The Sudan California

People have water
In the Sudan?
And oil and fire and tarnish
Miscible treasury
As in Thousand Oaks California
I for one cannot reach my Sudanese Archway
Without war mongering fear hate teaching itself
The touched parts of myself for one day
Not allowed the oasis of bathing
Without city council
Economic freedom votes
Tens of millions of Sudanese Americans
Have the identical rainfall amounts
I have a gripe of French soaps

Premium Member Dreaming the Dead

Last night i dreamt
Of being around a dead Charlie Kirk
Strategizing with a small group of guys.
I was just there, like at the next table over,
And got the feeling that while it was clear
Charlie was dead, his advisors/friends weren’t.
It was fascinating to hear them talk of his death,
Its impact and the way forward.
The vibe was upbeat
Energetic and inspired
As I imagine it was when he was alive,
At least alive on Earth in the body he had.
I was just a fly on the wall,
But it was cool to see
The show must go on
And on indeed it does.

My Dream Within A Dream

We dream we can share our darkest secrets without judgement or retribution but realize we can only share them safely with others through our poetry.

Tonight, I will dream of you.
I dream we share our secrets
Indiscretions and hurtful pasts,
Told as gilded sagas
By immoral sociopaths.
I share to you with confidence
One of my poignant dreams.
A tale of stirring fantasy,
Images not as they seem.

Cold snakes coiled on soiled paths
They spring in naked truth
Biting hard at every turn
Retelling their violent youth.
Poised to prove their stranglehold
On phantom victims’ crimes.
It’s here we hide the willing sin
We’ve accepted many times.

As dreams become reality
Our thoughts embrace their role.
We resist the curse of others
Playing mind games in our soul.
Here I hunt for solitude,
And here I find my soul.
I search my heart within myself
To learn what I have always known.
