I.
I woke up
from a head trip dream
or did I ...
II.
flight of imagination
the veil of sleep lingers
between two realms ...

Residual trance curves my lips,
prism hearts left behind in dreams;
Your lips as you pull my hair,
I want you when I wake up;
Prism hearts left behind in dreams
shine in the glow of morning eyes;
Oh if they could feel my head trip;
Your lips as you pull my hair,
we speak the same language;
Together in eternal intervals;
I want you when I wake up;
You demanding me cools me down;
Seduced by this strange sleep.
Hallucinations in the sound of the wind
and the doors of our favorite place;
Sounds in the woods
and the roar of the waves,
all I see is your face;
The carnival ride of a head trip
clouding my cheeks and flushing my thoughts,
focused on this altered state of mind
drawn in by the euphoria of hallucinations;
The clarity in the dark of this vision
sometimes you don’t need to know;
Your heartbeat is louder than words;
The soundtrack to these hallucinations.
Listless images swirl up from tangled seaweed.
Instead of going home to study
a youth stayed on at a topless bar.
This reoccurring nightmare is a parody,
a Dahliesque floor show of every
melting, pants down moment.
Unschooled for future-shock, ill-equipped
for long forgotten questions;
scruffy owls hoot in an empty lecture hall
as a mind reacts with a jittery dread.
A lost post-graduate thesis rides on a city bus,
passengers sit on it as they come and go;
the manuscript is deeply buckled
with butt cheeks.
No time to revise the unprepared.
Dimples of anxiety indent a head trip.
Despondency envelopes.
At any moment,
eyes will open above a pool of sweat,
then blink stupidly
as they have done - often and repeatedly
for the last 45 years.

Her poetry was conceived
'round fancy pants scraps,
inclined to reverberate wrangles
'tween an I reckon ma'am
and well versed jazzy visuals,
paid no mind to cowboy's
bumbling foolishness &
lumbered foreign gibberish
knowing full well it was
a lone star disposition,
merely a Texan head trip
See y'all next time...
Written in response to him calling out my words as 'fancy pants'...all in good fun.
"Well yessum we surely do. Y'all fancy type just lasso circles 'round us with yer fancy pants words."

Defies his namesake daily
This, one of our most beloved…
artists who loves to share his knowledge
almost equally as his talents
Oh, and mad-skills he doth possess, yes
With the power of his pen’s ink

Not for the depth and breadth
of his head-trip, yet

Money name fame
take it all
and buy me peace
save me from my fall
I ran on easy street
like a deranged man
but when i looked back
chilling winter wind palpitated my heart
Some are born with silver spoon
i arrived with a wounded fate
and i ride success hill by a crazy train
but this eclat will fade to black
Sometimes i fall in love
but everytime i endure pain
yet i want to burn in this sweet flame
like a sapless man in the rain.
People love me, people hate me
i do not care much
once fell from you
oh' tree , fruit is not yours.
Where do i go now
i have house but not a home
my dream castle is falling
and affinities are burning to coal
Now i am sitting here
with corrupt heart and rusted mind
dark lord is devouring my soul
i do not wish to live anymore.
This worriment is not only mine
masses are suffering
dwelling in the land of commotion
waiting for cessation, asking the solution.
The answer is
Life is beautiful, ocean is more blue
trees are greener and beauties are true
love is so real, so is harmony and peace
you can feel it if heart is open and vision is not blur.

head
To have all the money in the world
That was dropped onto the ground
Every day, would uniform richness
But that isn't the way it is
Eyes glued to the pavement?
Head hung to the streets?
To every place trampled
There it goes
A poor, poor presence
Trying to have it all
Out of gas for everything
Lucidly latched onto a hopeful head trip
Wearing masks to guise dreams whilst knowing
Its belly will not go up in flames.
Penurious promise shall control all
When the presence does nothing
But observe.
Get out of my head!
Stop bouncing throughout my thoughts!
Get into my arms!
I’m in a dream world most of the time
To escape reality because of all the war and crime
I sharpen my skill using my minds hone
I want to be as close as I can to the zone
My problems seem to grow bigger with every hour of every day
I hear you talking clearly but I’m a million miles away
I stay up in the clouds away from the confusion
I’ve created my paradise island will you visit my delusion
To stay away from anger and the constant hate
Go to your own place where your fantasies did formulate
My problems seem to grow bigger with every hour of every day
I hear you talking clearly but I’m a million miles away
If its all to much and you think you might flip
Get away from it all and take a needed head trip
Release your stress and watch it flow
Go to your imagination beyond the end of the rainbow
My problems seem to grow bigger with every hour of every day
I hear you talking clearly but I’m a million miles away
