first impression

“To see, we must forget the name of the things we are looking at”
- Quote by Claude Monet

* after 'Impression, soleil levant', painting by Claude Monet
----------------------------------------------------------------------
visible outdoors
to show the seen

blending smooth
colors, tones, light

shadows follow
reflecting angles

smoke rises
unobscured

beating hearts
wade used

brush strokes
mirrors mind

high orange
floats in water

fleeting calmness
holds gaze

INCREDIBLE

Nothing has changed... but all is unlike from what it was seconds ago...

definitely showed no mercy
as Gunnery Sgt Hartmann
he delivered his best Marine DI impression

I had a wrong impression of him

I had a wrong impression
Of him
But after I meet him
He sounded like a nice men
I must say that I like him a lot
We talk about lots of things
I ask him how is life treating him?
He told me not so well
This is because
Mother nature don't want to give up
Even though it is spring
She send as more snow
That is a bad news
For us
We are not crazy about the snow

Premium Member She asked, 'What does your painting mean'

She asked, "What does your painting mean?"
I said, "Nothing really. It's just a portrait of a peaceful evening scene."
She said, "But I sense something ominously stark,
there, lurking behind those two figures in the dark."
I said, "Oh, yeah. I see exactly what you mean.”

Impression

I've seen the good, and I've seen the bad. I've never been happier than when I'd been had.
My life took a twist and my life took a turn. My life knows what it is to lose what I had to hold.
I've seen the light and I've seen the dark. It was the brightness of you that lit the spark.
If you could forgive and you could forget I'm sure that a wedding we would set.
I'd never forsake you. I'd never leave. This heart is yours that I wear of my sleeve.
Our destiny sits within your hands. My heart is as full as the bottle fills the sands.
You'll never know how much I miss you. Until you forgive me loneliness will have to do.
I'm sure that in time you'll forget me the way the apple forgets the tree.
I end it with this you were one of a kind. Not a minute of the day are you not on my mind.

impression

what does your vision depict
a soul or vessel, one to evict
one who should be showered and loved
or me, victim to being devoured and shoved
a masochist when you were hurting me
a pacifist but only hyperbole

Exciting life, can’t be mine

Doesn't us, a life separated kind, and comes from our lives
Yes, yes, oh, oh my love, doesn’t happening life in our lives
Why? Hmm, because you look down my kind; but it’s so old

Life, hmm, you know baby, forgotten feeling to us, birds in the sky
Birds in the sky, on sunlight, stars waving you, space looking
…down at you
You didn’t respect my life, because that far from your home,
… and not your like.

You were, yes, but no problem, I apologize for your sin; the dark line
Not you, oh not you, I live now in a dark wave; sunrise is so far
Take a heart, I am not you, find the difference, what could be us
… equal.

Get flowers, I mean tree-like, get nature, wood-like, love babies
… want you in the forest like
Kids running from the forest and crossing the rainbow flower field like life
Just watch them, watch them, oh Emma, our children now in the sky
… to me a vision of pain kind.

Exciting life
I am sorry
She was that
My life is off
Live nothing
Stay feeling
Following
… she

Peace gets
Always
In my you
Vision
Only
Get
memory
… to you

Someone
Loved you

Silence
Exciting
Hmm
Then
Gone

Impression

Lovely paradise
Where palm trees met ocean breeze
Salty air I breathe.

First Impression

Salesman groom with care
First impression are lasting
Your brief is your fare.

BRUISED IMPRESSION

Bare hands stirring over my body
Little resistance, pushed against wall
Echoing of my scream shivered down
Strong figure felt like a known to me
The stare sensed me of my own blood
Little did I know, Dad about you..

Premium Member Big Impression

It isn’t the big celebrations,
Enormous dinners or huge gifts.
Parties never rouse foundations,
Jamborees or festivals.
It isn’t the life-sized creations,
Who impress kings, rulers or monarchs.

It’s the little things, a gentle expression,
When hearts meet in the deserts,
When dreamers discover their profession,
When simple reaches into the heart,
Pulls out a feeling, an impression,
The beautiful that inspires the light.

It isn’t in the impressive,
When a life gets made –
It’s in the thoughts, so obsessive…
Which bring feelings we want to save!

Premium Member Impression

The crested waves were like frills, rolling toward me
I want to be that light, carefree, worry free
Led by the tides that pull me
Floating effortlessly to the shore
Where you are waiting for me
Where I know, everything will be ok, when I am there

I dream of a secluded island with white sand
Where there is nothing but love and peace
Such thoughts are needed in this world...
That has become so hectic, so full of concerns
Clouded by difficulties, weighed upon by challenges

Oh, let me be the crested wave
Letting go of all my troubles before I land...
So the impression that I leave,
Is newly, fresh, upon the sand

Premium Member Want To See My Crow Impression

Fabulific witch zoomed in on a full moon night.
We had never seen such a streak of femininity
Her gorgeous face hailed from a magazine cover
Those thighs, those boobs and that chin. Wow!

She leapt from her broomstick onto a large oak branch.
A fashionista, elongated ebony ribbons were flowing from her hat
Want to see my crow impression? She asked. We all did.
There was a loud squawk and she flew off, in a crow’s body.
