What to Submit?
Hi, Fellow Croutons,
Well, this morning has brought the first good frost of the season, so when I hang the washing out, I'm going to have to fold it all afterwards using a hammer. And if the sun comes out I can rub some factor 30 into my scarf. Which means winter is coming.
So my theme for the competition is 'My Winter'. Write about your winters where you are, what you do, what you enjoy, maybe miss, how you feel, memory or meaning.....don't just do a description of what you can see, I can get that off a Christmas card. I'm sure that winters around the globe and how people react with it differ, so put some local interest in. Maybe, you will run deep and write of a winter in your heart or soul, that is acceptable. Any form you wish, illustrations welcome if desired.
NO NAMES ON POEMS PLEASE. THANKS.
****IMPORTANT*** Your poem must be titled 'My winter' so I don't accidentally read it, and that would spoil my little post-judging game of 'guess the poet', so that title only otherwise you won't make the winners round.
I look forward to putting on my bobble hat and ugg boots to read your worthy submissions.
Anu questions, Soupmail me.
Love 'n hugs, Viv
