What to Submit?
**PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS, AS EACH TIME I DO A CONTEST I HAVE TO DISQUALIFY FOLK FOR SIMPLY NOT READING THE RULES, THANKS. **
Hello again, fellow wordsmiths,
something a little easier on the mind than my normal stuff, and forgive me if this theme has been done before, but I can't remember seeing it in my time here on the Soup.
Anyway, all I ask for is you to write about one of your favourite sights, sounds, smells, tastes and something that appeals to your sense of touch, and why they resonate with you or mean so much on a basic level. Please don't automatically go down the chocolate/silk/three day old baby/cat/Elvis song route, have a good think, because I'm sure after an hour of really thinking, you will surprise yourself and the rest of us. Most of us Soupers have lived long lives and experienced lovely things, so express who you are by delving deep into yourselves. I and the rest of us would rather get a sample of who you are and where you are than you basically reciting 'My favourite things' from 'The sound of music'.
All five senses, please. I feel this may be popular, so I am ramping up the number of entries to forty. Off you go then, and have a good look, taste, smell, listen and fondle.
***Titile of you poem will be 'MY FIVE SENSES' so I don't accidentally read it, thanks.
Looking forward to your input, as always.
Love 'n hugs,
