My Five Senses

My Five Senses

I can hardly remember the depth of your voice
I can barely outline the contour of your face
I want my eyes to dance all over you
While watching you move across a familiar space

All I know…
All I know is that I want to
Feel you in all of your warmth
Feel the touch of your lips sliding across my face
Feel the tightness of your skin gliding underneath my finger tips

I want to smell you fresh, after we’re caught in one of spring’s shower
Then sit with you in silence and see you in all of your grace
Smell your aroma evaporating in the vail around you

I want my lips to feel in place —tasting sweet perfection and now knowing grace
I want my legs to wrap around you
I want to be in your space

I want to see you laugh and hear the base
I want to talk up a storm to feel the vibration of your words
I want to see your matrix, fading in and out like taste
I want to touch you through and through, all the way to your heart
Beating rapidly then finding its pace
I want to taste your kisses and know that heaven is in place
Because the aroma, alerting us of, angels have landed in a sacred place
