Robert Haigh I wish you all the best,

sad to read your news.

When it comes to people leaving,

I always seem to lose.

I know it's not about me personally,

though I empathise and care.

A poet/poetess who freely gives-

is with one I like to share.

I wish you well within your life,

and safe travels where you go.

I wish all is well with you and yours,

Robert, hoping you come and read this as I wanted to tell you to leave at least one poem or perhaps a message on your page because I believe after 6 months accounts that have no poetry are closed by soup admin. All the best, Robert on your new poetry site.

I enjoyed the times I got messages or comments from you and I would urge you not to take down your work. I know not your reasons, Robert, but I am faced with some very real frustrations and negativity here myself, and can relate. That said, there are some wonderful people here that I don't wish to be without, so I stay, (for now). I know your reasoning MUST be solid, so I respect it, but you will be sorely missed, my friend. Blessings to you and yours for the most wonderful of things to come for you and your wonderful work. Perhaps you can let us know your new home so we can continue to follow and stay in touch? I am truly saddened that such a wonderful person, great poet and good friend is leaving this site. I know people oft do what they must or simply what they think is best but I pray that he reconsiders. Or maybe just decides to take a short vacation and return when it is over. I wish him the very best in his life and in his poetry!

It is always sad when someone leaves poetrysoup, especially someone who has been here for a long time and he sure is a really great poet, If you open his account now, he has deleted all of his poems, he sure will be missed,

I hope Robert sees your blog Paris-Maree. I'm so so sad to see he's deleting his soup account, but I know he's not been active on the site recently and posts elsewhere. I wish he would think again and leave his poems here as I know others in the past have 'left' and come back and regretted their actions. Such a shame when people leave :-( hugs Jan xx
