Letters between Child and Father

    Dear Father,

I just wanted to write to you today to tell you how much I love you.

I know I spoke to you today, and so often my mind and heart are turned

to you, I long for you, so much. I know one day we will be

together and that will be wonderful!

I look forward to the reunion; longing replaced with the belonging!

As your child, I just need to know how you see me? I hate to admit it,

but so often I feel like I am a failure, I mean, I just don't measure up,

you are so perfect, I am not, no matter how hard I try.

I know you have always watched over me, and care for me and my siblings

and now, I need you to answer me honestly. You always knew that

I knew not the love of the mom who birthed me, but of your

love, Papa, I knew. You were happy to be my father. It was You who

wooed me with lullabies and loved me as I am, and knew

that I indeed had a purpose for my life. I was planned, right?

You didn't make a mistake, did you? I just need to know. I am feeling

like an insecure little child, please forgive me. I await your answer. I'm

looking forward to reading your reply. I love You! Talk to ya soon.

                                              Sincerely,

                                          Your lovin' kiddo

                                                Me <3

Hey Kiddo,
Wow, you didn't read the words I have for you? Oh well, that's ok, maybe you didn't receive it yet or possibly mislaid it before you read it, it happens all the time among my children, more on that later.

In response to your letter, wow, really? Of course!
Yeah! I have loved you with an everlasting love! You're going to need to read my letters as soon as you can, read from the book entitled Jeremiah, chapter 31, verse 3, you can put that in your search engine if you like, Jeremiah 31:3. My word in my letters are really famous, so you'll see it for sure.
I have heard you, and I have known of your tears, read the verse in 2 Kings 20:5.
Of course, I love you and you were indeed 'planned'.
All of my sons and daughters were.
Read Genesis 1:27 :) Yeah, kiddo, planned. I didn't make a mistake. It was good <3
I inspired a poet to write in a book called Psalms. Attribute chapter 139:14
to your own heart, if you will accept it and believe it. He wrote “I praise
you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” – Psalm 139:14 Hey, you should memorize that verse
kid, because it pertains to you. You too were fearfully and wonderfully created. Kiddo, and you know what? All my kids fell and still do fall short of the glory of God and got into debt before they even realized what they were doing. It's just the way things are now since your brother and sister Adam and Eve got into debt to the devil in the garden of Eden, you have all ended up in debt and fallen short owing a huge debt. That fruit cost them more than they ever could pay, and the devil puts the debt on every one of you. I just wanted you to know that I sent someone to pay it, for you, His name is Jesus, you need to accept His payment asap, I mean, it's already paid for, He paid it in blood, and only His righteous blood could settle that debt. The devil isn't going to let you off on the debt that you inherited, so hurry and accept the gift, the sooner the better.
See? I love you a lot.
Remember this verse, will you? "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

Ah yes, I know what your biological doner told you, but in Jeremiah 1:5 – it was written “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee...” I knew everything about you.
And remember that before you were even born (or your mother, because you do know don't you, He paid for her debt too. She made mistakes even as everyone else!). Memorize this one, please, it's a really good and uplifting verse, to prove my love for you: and her...
"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
See, He paid your debt, but you need to accept it. I knew you'd need your debt paid before you ever even existed on earth.
I have written a much longer reply to your questions and longing my child,
volumes actually. I invite you now to read My letters written to you and if you don't have one, or lost your copy, there are many copies of it, even on that website you love so much, the poet's haven 'Poetrysoup'. Look on the sidebar <-- <-- under 'Poetry Resources' on site right there to the left of these words
'Bible'
You know what kid? I had you in mind all the time as the words in those volumes of letters were written. I see you as precious.
Ok, enough for now. I love ya kiddo.
Talk to you soon, call anytime, I love hearing from you and I AM always listening!

                                         Love Always

                                   Your Heavenly Father

I read it again w/o my Dad perspective turned on and clearly saw what your words were feeling and emotively giving to God. I thought I made clear my Dad echo clear but apparently no one grasped it, don't think they looked for it. Should u read it again, it'd be great if you shared whether it is, indeed, clear. Appreciating you - getting to know you, Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Until I read the end, I was startled to read my Dad issues mirrored in your words. Now, I'm unsure if it's fact you created a creative twist reader wouldn't see coming. You shared you saw your Dad's final breath, as I did. I don't know if I collapsed or flung myself to the floor but down I went. I wish you'd read my reply to comments you'd joyously feel the awe of what echo meant in the poem. You may feel a spirit adrenaline rush; it was an awesome echo. Scroll to Paige's box should u desire..

When I read the son's letter to his father, I never had the slightest inkling that the letter was addressed to his Heavenly Father. Yes, our Heavenly father loves all of us and has His own plans when He birthed each one of us in His own image. Dear B.J. your faith as reflected in your writing is greatly appreciated. Great penning.

This is cute and written with love. Pity some parents do not love their siblings.
