Sacred Secret
My love for art is special and way beyond compare
To any other way of life when it takes me there.
Unsure of when it takes me though where it has no time
Another place, another space in this world o mine.
Again I am child though how I may not see
For it’s more of just a feeling when you are so free.
Difficult to describe the spirit when it’s carried
Perhaps it’s the release after being buried.
For reality is often hard to simply comprehend
Hence balances the other where I may transcend
To a higher self, to a higher being unconscious of the state
And I wonder other artists if they do relate…
This wonderland ever so grand and how they live to tell
To recognise the difference where they fall and fell
Though I must not be the only one where art has interrupted
Consciousness, life we see to only be abducted.
Yet I wouldn’t dream to live my life where pain engulfs my being
So take me sacred secret to the place unseeing
Keep me in this precious place safely shielded longer
To only be awakened with love for art all stronger.
