Australia's Shame

Overcrowded housing Homeless people on the street, Below the line of poverty Through the freeze and heat. Whilst others are suppressed With hope not found as yet, Within the lucky country Where most are all in debt. Diseases and sicknesses Stress from being poor, Elders sleeping rough and scared Frightened to their core! Equality will never be when equity unknown, Hence I'm ashamed to call this place Australia my home.
