Why Am I Me

Why am I me, I shall this not know,
Till I have lived a day, where I’ll grow.
Upon this earth, I came in with a veil,
Thus, from a young age to the old I shall sail.
The ebb and the flows, of life’s highs and life’s lows,
My psyche shall hit a plateaux,
And off shall I rise to the heavenly skies,
No more shall I be in disguise.
But, I’ll look at my life through eyes of contrite,
As well as through the heart- soul ignite.
My passions, my loves, my joys and my fears,
How I lived, who I was all those years.
It is now I shall question the Why I am me,
And answer because I am thee!

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
