he knows my name

our father in heaven
whos love is forever the same
how wonderful it is that you know our name
you know each struggle on the journey we make
you know every tear we shed every smile every thought
oh how your word will always remain
the one who called us
and knows our name Amen

God loves you immensely (John 3:16), He thinks about you all the time (Ps. 139:17-18), and He knows your name (John 10:3). Amen

With God Happy Had Been Beeing

With God Happy Had Been Being

(Psalm 100)

With God happy always had been being;
Much joy and gladness would be bringing;
Than care,
To share;
Will make a grateful sound when singing.

Jim Horn

Our choir did this past Sunday when
they sang, "when in Our Music God
Is Glorified."

Lovers Not

"Lovers Not"

Lovers Not

Games we play
hard edged
tongues
where no word’s safe
ecstasy to abstain
blindfolded
to begin again
saltwater stings
where you lay
bound to another
never-slept soul
worshipping her
alabaster shrine
your dream
prolonged
spent legs of this journey
spread on your Dante cross
submerged
you willingly
drown close
washed clean
by her rolling ocean
sans perfume
to taste the essence of skin
in shattered shards
of moonbeam
reckless in your
loose agency
a small price to pay
where the heat
from her words
blow your
pages
wet and hot
black feather quills
well oiled and cut
blood written
no escape plot
Purgatorio and Paradiso
Beatrice led
you don’t beg
to stop
tied up tightly
wanting to remain
mind-stripped
no slow soft rope
Games we play

Lovers Knot

The Forbidden Heroes

Hawker Hurricane was his plane.
Karubin was chasing a German fighter
at tree top level, when his Hurricane
 had run out of ammunition.

Karubin closed the distance
 and climbed right above
 the German fighter,
 who crashed into the ground

when he had seen, underside of Hurricane
within arm’s reach of his cockpit.
The German pilot tried to avoid the collision,
 reducing altitude without precision.

In 1944 on D-Day,
he and all members of his Squadron 303
 flew many times
 over the landing beaches.

Division 303 used its Spitfires
 on various ground attack missions
on V-1 and V-2 launch sites,
 located in the Netherlands.

Pilots from Squadron 303
claimed 126 kills in six weeks,
had 7 their pilots killed and 5 badly wounded,
 but were not invited

to London Victory Parade in 1946
and Western betrayal of their country
culminated upon taking half of their homeland -
braking morale of the broken winners.

Variation of a Lullaby

v.1 Hush little baby don't say a word
Mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird
And if that mocking bird don't sing
mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring
And if that diamond ring don't shine
mama's gonna give you all her time
Every hour of every day for the rest of your life

(chorus)
So hush little baby don't you cry
You'll always be within my eyes
Within my arms, within my touch
Within my heart, within all my love

v.2 Now hush little baby don't you cry
Mama's gonna sing you a lullaby
of all the times that we will share
We'll learn to love and we'll learn to care
And if our ways should part some day
in your heart my love will stay
Every hour of every day for the rest of your life
(chorus)

Ruins of the Day

v.1 Reflections of theses things I need to hide
reaching down to my child inside
Can't ya feel the pain behind these eyes
Sorrow bleedin through a whole lifetime
Don't tell me that it's gonna be ok... it's just the Ruins of the Day

v.2 If I could start to feel inside
maybe life would be just a little kind to me
But everyday it seems just one more thing
is pushin my feelins to their bitter end
Don't tell me that it's gonna be ok... it's just the Ruins of the Day
Don't tell me heh, it's just the Ruins of the Day
Don't tell me heh, it's just the Ruins of my Day
Don't tell me heh, fallin away
I pray the Lord my soul to take

v.3 Now I just need a place to run and hide
till I make it to the other side
Misery loves it's company
I hope someday you'll all forgive me
Don't tell me that it's gonna be ok...it's just the Ruins of the Day
Don't tell me heh, it's just the Ruins of my Day
Don't tell me heh, it's just the Ruins of my Ways
Don't tell me heh, fallin away
I pray the Lord my soul to take
I pray Dear Lord...my soul to take

Rejected Departure: Give Me a Reason

V.1:
Give me an excuse or a reason
To overcome these waves of emotions
Give me a couple of good reasons
Why you do the things you do on a daily basis? I feel this strange insecurity &
hopelessness
Why are you looking for traumatizing troubles and countless commotions?
Give me a second to breathe in and out & step out of the abyss
The tears are drowning my eyes…is there any healing potions?

(Pre-Chorus):
I’m rejecting departure that leads to rue
How dare you…you…abandoning me…
Out of the blue…blue…out of the blue…blue
I’m done with you-ou…just set me free,
Oh Lord of accord, set me free from
Despondency’s captivity and I’m still waitin’…
Give me a reason to repent of my sin
When I wasn’t the one that committed the crime
Time flips on like a rusty dime . . . .

Premium Member The Coming of the Gospel

The prophet Isaiah clearly declared
of the coming of the Lord's way
by sending John the Baptist
to prepare for the Lord's day

John preached a message of repentance
for the forgiveness of sins in the wilderness
pointing to a greater one than he
who baptised with the Holy Spirit no less

John baptised the Christ in the Jordan
Jesus came up out of the river
and the heavens opened and spoke
my beloved son pleases me for ever

Jesus was driven by the Holy Spirit
into the wilderness for forty days
there tempted by the devil
angels were His aid scripture says

Jesus then went into Galilee
proclaiming God's glorious good tidings
telling repent and believe the gospel
such salvation joy Jesus brings

Jesus then calls His disciples
to follow Him becoming fishers of men
immediately they left their nets
as today He calls as Jesus did then

A Angel Dedicated To All My Angelic Friends

I thoughth I saw an angel

To a Young Poet (Fiboquatro, V.1)

Young
Mind,
Chaste and
Innocent,
Oh, gently whirlwinds
Through wonder page of whisperer

Fragile, yet too prevailing
Sweet smile upon his tender age
Youthful and witty, his charms tinge
This world o’ mine, with glade of sage

Note:

Fiboquatro is a poetic form, consisting of 2 or 3 stanzas,
a combination of Fibonacci and a stanza of 4 lines, with
an abab rhyme scheme. The specific theme for this form
is more of love and inspiration, but a poet writing in this
form can have his/her own choice of theme. Visit my site

Jack Daniels and Me

V-1:
Clenched fists...in a barroom of sorrow
Against the bar...thinkin' bout tomorrow
Filling my mouth...from a peanut sack
Down I went...another shot from Jack

V-2:
I picked myself up...got me to my feet
Head spinning...as I sit on this bar seat
I wiped the blood...from my left brow
For tonight...Jack really put me down

Chorus:
All alone...Jack Daniels and me
Tonight my friend...had me feeling guilty
My wife up and left...said that's your life storie
As she left us alone...Jack Daniels and me

V-3:
Woke up this morning...in a Motel of shame
Still holdin' Jack...and my head full of pain
My mind flashed back...to the night before
Watching her leave...me and Jack on the floor

V-4:
I rememberd those words...she'd say everyday
The drinkin' must stop...or I'm going away
Now the last ten years...is all shot to hell
As I cling to my friend...on this floor where I fell

Chorus:
All alone...Jack Daniels and me
Last night my friend...had me feeling guilty
My wife up and left...said that's your life storie
As she left us alone...Jack Daniels and me

I Take Back

{V-1}
In the darkness of my mind
Where your image fades away
Your memories all I find
As my tears fall today

{V-2}
The note you left for me
Has sorrow in every line
Through black and white I see
You erased me from your mind

{Chorus}
I take back all those words
Those words that broke your heart
I take back those nights
Those nights you cried alone
I take back those words of pain
Those words that made us part

{V-3}
Today those flowers in the window
Are wilted and turning brown
Your picture on the mantel
Has me praying you'll turn around

{V-4}
When I see your red silk nightie
My tears start again
Oh darling I'm on my knees
and my minds on memory lane

{Chorus}
I take back all those words
Those words that broke your heart
I take back all those nights
Those nights you cried alone
I take back those words of pain
Those words that made us part
