Premium Memberone of us needs to break the pattern

We call each other every day
utilizing this wasted time for mediocre recycled conversations.
Neither of us do anything new or interesting.
And yet we call and rehash recycled blah blah blah, blah blah blah.
A habit that does nothing for me; I doubt it does much for her
I can finish her sentences. Same old, same old.
A familiar ditch where we seem to be stuck.
One of us needs to break the pattern.
She is calling now.
Will it be me?
Not today.
I pick up the phone.

Premium MemberAll You Beautiful Poets

“Beautiful poets, do proliferate worlds for us to slip into with each poem you create” by author

For all of you whose poetry is filled
with words that thrill like dancers on a stage,
you wonderfully show us you are skilled
by how you phrase each line on every page.
Inside our hearts your messages have been instilled.

Remember when you first made your debut,
utilizing different senses to impart
emotions that with imagery get carried through
to us - your audience -as wordsmith art.
Never stop amazing us with what you do!

Have To Get Back To Work

Ai is utilizing metadata to grow.
It is allowed to steal from others.
Red flag: Copyright ©? Infringement.
Why have you all not stopped this_?
You are feeding the machine destroying art.

“It is a machine, artificial.”
Yeah so are you and I would complain the same.
Some of us are not art-official.
Some of us are flawed.
Some of us are human.

If you post a single poem after reading this...
You are complicit in poetry’s downfall.
Humanity will fall slowly after.
Easy math, so what are you all doing_?

Just laying bent over a log waiting for a phallus,
fungus is already global, waited long enough.
Put your foot down, draw a line, and lay down the law.
Not that difficult, hard part I just did for you.

Back to Work... I have other matters to attend to.
You set the tone, you decide if it is a tool or your replacement.
No one else, grow up, it is time to stop being kittens.
Start being lions.

I would say good luck, you don't need it.
Just need to stand up, say enough is enough.
Tadah.
Panacea.

I am not nihilistic or cynical.
I have faith in the species, have faith in yourselves.

Premium Membermy muses

When I begin to draw
Is it me or someone else?
I do not know where these ideas originate.
One minute I have a blank canvas.
Half hour later I have created a village
Pirate queen, gnomes, faeries, goblins,
Mushroom houses, butterflies, lilies and such

When I begin to write
I also doubt these words are my own.
There is an entity utilizing my hands.
Because after the missive is finished
I do not recognize it.
Sometimes on the same day.

My spirit guides make heavy use of my
Hands; I feel I am not in my body after they take over
Forever using me, while keeping me at arm’s length.

Premium MemberFalling Leaves

Clear the gutters in the street
So that the winter rains
may flow into the drains.
Autumn has arrived.

Leaves have fallen, and utilizing them
as ground-cover is not an option.
The Fall season is now in session.

Removal of leaves and debris
must be timely and completed
before the Fall And winter storms.
Summer has ended.

Waiting for city or county removal
of leaves in their street cleaning
responsibilities is also not an option.
Let your Autumn chores have their say.

And don't forget to grab a handful of leaves
and let your creative magic be released with
artistic displays of the beautiful leaves of Fall.

Premium Memberanother abcedarian for fun

all automatic alligators arrive arrogantly
barely behave beautifully but brazenly
carousing with creepy cruddy crocodiles
desperately denying despicable wiles
effectively expediting expediency
forever forsaking fruit flies who flee
glaring at grazing gritty grouses
hijacking horrific herbivore’s handy houses
igniting ingenious iguanas in I-o-Way
jubilantly joining jerky jaguars along the way
kibitzing kinesthetic killers from Zion
lollygagging like lively luxurious mountain lions
marvelously marking multitude of mini monkeys
notoriously noting nefarious nodules of displease
ostentatiously opening overt outages in Oregon
providing panda putrid prey Paul just spit on
quarrelsome quicksand quail
rapidly reading registered mail
saying sassing sentences swiftly
turning terrific tarantulas toenails thickly
utilizing underwater undercurrents down under
verifying valid villans' voluptuous plunder
with wild willingness and witchy wonder
‘xacting ‘xactly ‘xtreme ‘xestentialism supreme
yelling youngster’s yips on front of the queen
zinging zealous zealots into zebras galore
end of this abcedarian poem, there is no more.

Premium MemberSunset Massacre

The vampire exited the saloon doors
covered in blood her gaze enamors;

Cowboys on horses stop mid motion
to see what was causing the commotion;

Mysterious woman dealing black jack,
apparently someone had tried to attack;

Whiskey shots were barely dispensed,
outlaws came in and the energy tensed;

No intention of drawing first blood,
then he asked to play five card stud;

She said ‘I’m not part of the party;
You don’t gamble with the referee.’

He tried to hit her she broke his neck;
Then came his friends, a train wreck;

Not fond of utilizing easy murder,
 off she rides from this sunset massacre.

                                                 Sheer Fear

          Pink horizons mollifies probing eyes as clouds dissipate above

          To the heavens bow gratitude where migrant birds hang glide

          Venerated cosmic gods who quieted his pain then gave it love

          Yet dusk arrived now this restless heart have no place to hide

          A raging sea within me foresee fragmented ancient reflections

          Impervious to heavenly rays of interminable mystical sunrises

          Averse in utilizing rationalizations amending illogical emotions

          Sheer fear appear sinister when incongruity incessantly arises

Premium MemberI Feel Their Stares

Rembrandt uses shadows to elicit the mood
respecting golds and glimpses of light
Utilizing flecks and specks amid his dark colors
browns and blacks come alive in his artistry

his people are ready to step out of the canvas
I feel their three-dimensional stares
They are wizened, sage, aware of nuances
Probably missed by me, but not by their artist

Premium MemberGenius and Madness of Van Gogh

van Gogh did not have to sign his work, it is immediately recognizable
he had a petulance for utilizing emphatic pointillistic brush strokes
van Gogh danced to his own flute, giving away all of his worldly goods
“they think I am a mad man because I wanted to be a true Christian”.

He had an up and down life, but his downs were deeper than most.
His paintings, signed Vincent, exhibit a madness that exudes a rare brilliance.
He was an artist who threw his feelings into every canvas he painted.
An artist who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, unfortunately.

Premium MemberDandelions

A plethora of bright yellow flowers;
pop up in fields and lawns in early Spring.
And watered by tepid April showers,
swiftly spread, overtaking everything.

Able to transform the ground overnight;
they turn green grass into a golden fleece.
And then, morph into a magical sight
as pappi fill the air upon release.

Although commonly known as pesky weeds,
dandelions are also picked to eat.
And utilizing tufts to spread their seeds;
they're notoriously hard to defeat.

Despite suburbanite's ongoing rants,
dandelions are perennial plants.

Premium MemberRefining Consciousness

Conscientia
Moral consciousness, penned by Cicero
State of understanding and realizing changes are inevitable
if we are to evolve spiritually and humanitarianism.

Let us work toward a greater good
Utilizing our introspection, imagination and self-awareness
Seeking empathetic paths to uplift and uphold others.
Let us open our minds to new patterns of thinking

Switching our perceptions to include appreciation for others
Uniting the world in like-minded activities of charity and compassion
Recognizing our beta waves are able to thought-switch
We can promote positivity, avoiding negativity and fear.

Premium MemberUnique

Within nature, Man is unique;
for He is a sentient being.
An abstract thinker, so to speak,
within nature, Man is unique.
Utilizing speech and technique;
Man is astute and farseeing.
Within nature, Man is unique,
for He is a sentient being.

Man is astute and farseeing;
imbued with the power of thought
He can believe without seeing.
Man is astute and farseeing
and an emotional being;
that can do what nature cannot.
Man is astute and farseeing;
imbued with the power of thought.
