back in the day
Back in the day
Raptors and reptiles were super-sized
Alluring and provocative in their giant-ness
Carnivores were but a few, most were plant-eaters
Hefty dinosaurs who sought trees and leaves for food
I am confident they are all gone now
Original artwork of their beauty intrigues me
Stimulating my imagination and interest
A dream brings them into my night life
Utilizing my imagination and my poetic pen
Suddenly a brachiosaurus peeks at me from my writer’s mind
