Premium Member To Burn And Mend

It must have been April when we both strayed
Vindictive, I refused to warm fire’s glow
When livid words raged... triggering my ire
Though pleading sorry, I shunned Kate’s hello.
Yet at nights when laughter used to ripple,
I knew burning bridges kept us apart ,
And missed all our years graced by kinship's bliss;

Enduring rain and snowstorm of life's chart
On Kate’s doorstep I knocked to mend this rift...
How my eyes burned like splinters of dark ray;
She had gone -- far off--- my closure too late
A void bitter ... oh on her natal day.

A Cry for Calm

The thunder screams outside my window.
The low, rumbling threats seem to decipher the knots of the obscured gag in my throat.
The white shocks my room with a stark, sudden white, coating the walls in a raging light.
I look out the window.
I ask him what’s wrong.
He screams again, louder this time.
The scream seems to coax itself onto the cracks of my skin, solving the puzzle of my silence.
The rumble tries to pulsate beneath the callouses of my skin, quieting the throb of my silence.
The white appears to alarm the calamity of my skin, triggering the mortification of my silence.
My silence.
That is all I find in the brown of my skin.
That is all I find in the amber of my eyes.
That is all I find in the silver of my rings.
A silence sculpted from an ignited plea for obliteration.

Black Sheep Rising

I told the truth, and made some mad
Felt threatened, and told me to stop
Tell me who I am, no they cannot
Control my reality, no they could not

Better the view, way from the top
They see me rise, and I see them fall
I got fed up, and said enough
They criticize, I say shut up

Comparing me, and cannot match
I raise my voice, and they are shocked
Some mocking me, and then I block
They had a say, now it’s my turn

Out of my way, have them kick rocks
Call me black sheep, better than lost
I am the one, and they are pawns
Triggering them, with just one word

If the shoe fits, it’s not my fault
I am now free, I know my worth
The slate is clear, facing the sun
A brand new me, I have transformed.

Frangipani Tree

my essence to nose as honey to tongue
purifying power moves you to One
rooted and decorated I stand atomic
down from seventh heaven cosmic

I’m tough, hardy, regarded as Old School
though ever-new coloured petals drool
milky sap as sacred unseen ambrosia
woven in fifth sheath, Atman’s kosha

Adamic my aquiline profile I breathe
connection memories, ascension eased
brain wave entrainment silent reviewed
time-space exquisite pure quarks exude

seraphic perfume as garden valance
invoking blissed emotion within balance
sanguine I worship, triggering transmutation
darkness to loosen my blossom’s salvation

pastel or bright in sunrise dewy morn
connecting to dynamo ancestors shorn
sighting me is intriguing immortality born
abide beneath my falling petals each dawn

sensations edenic across my butterflied
                            c e r e b e l l u m spied
my innocence your life awakening
earth minerals my satiating ~

Premium Member Beneath The Clouds

Waves dance beneath the clouds,
tossing fish that fly high in the air.
That hot storm was triggering foam
as square ripples erode the shore.

Tossing fish that fly high in the air,
so enticing yet so far out of reach.
As square ripples erode the shore
designing art with their destruction.

So enticing yet so far out of reach,
immune to the luster of seduction.
Designing art with their destruction,
a view undoubtably awe inspiring.

Immune to the luster of seduction,
all of the seagulls know better.
A view undoubtably awe inspiring,
the picture of complete disruption.

All of the seagulls know better,
that hot storm was triggering foam.
The picture of complete disruption,
waves dance beneath the clouds.

Premium Member Every minute matters

In a world of alternate reality
choices made lead us down
to different destinations

We zigzag leaving patterns forging pathways
with consequences hardly insignificant
each triggering a chain reaction

What a complicated maze
of endless possibilities
with outcomes unpredictable

Every thought every action
every silence every denial
weaves in fact the fabric of our destiny

Triggering

We listen to you
Act the way you want
We stand in the queue
For the things which you can’t.

You don’t hear me
I had a blister in my knee
Taught to stay in the igloo
In the summer out of blue

They waste time differing
Hunting for our flaws
We can see through the gloss
Can’t stand it, that’s just triggering.

Overwhelmed Avalanches of Doubt

So many ways to say one thing
More than one way to turn pawn to king
Too many turns to the grocery store
Which turn shall I take?

Countless words to choose from
From sunrise to sunset
Too many ends to be met
With no end

So many ways to say one thing

How will I say this?

The paralysis of perfection pours
A whisper at first
Drown out by the delusion of desirability
Preserved in acid proclamations of praise
Beating echoes in snowy peaks
Peaking in phrases veiled in value
Pouring
Heavy
 Heavy
  Heavy
On the mountaintop
  Failure
 Failure
Failure
One weakened layer causing seismic shifts
Elephant echoes fragmenting snowy ideals
Triggering avalanches of lost identity
Slabs of fallen promises break loose
Forming a track of forbidden truth
Too much weight bids perilous
Useless words of compliment
Descend to a suffocating
Ignominious demise
Plagued by tiny
Thoughts of
Fading

Premium Member a fickle flip scares the butterfly

Oh the power of the narcissistic
would be king enthroned,
crowned not with wisdom,
but with arrogance,
delusion and nihilism.

The crowd waits on his every word
which has the power
to flip the world order
from boom to flop
from soar to bust
to tip the seesaw
to flip-flop panic.

Why should one person,
posting his own thoughts social
in the middle of the night
have the power to scare
the butterfly, making it
flap its wings,
triggering the accord
to tip off the cliff
Into chaos.

Abuse

Hiding away,

Afraid to say,

How it Hurts,

Everyday watching,

As dreams float away.

I don't want to play,

Silly games of chase.

Wishing I could erase,

This face from the mirror.

Going to the hole in my heart,

To try and restart,

While falling apart.

It's Time to depart,

I have to think smart,

I get confused at this part.

I start to use,

Any excuse, Or situation,

Vindicating my abuse.

Feeling I Always lose,

Burning the fuse.

triggering the cues,

No more love to use.

Seeking the juice,

So I can choose,

To rise above,

And free this recluse,

Trapped in patterns of abuse.

Premium Member Locusts in the Alley

In the old graveled alley, overgrown with weeds,
at footfall, locusts sprang and leaped,
triggering a riot.
But soon their swelling motion
subsided like fried popcorn on a skillet.

Machine Guns

Sitting here in Silence,

Machine Guns in my head.

The Echoing of things I said,

Firing every Second.

A dangerous place to tread,

Untying the Thread.

A place I dread,

Feeling already Dead.

Cant take back what was said,

Like bullets flying Ahead.

As they make their mark,

I light up my Spark.

Embracing the dark,

Cold, Harsh Truths.

Its No Use,

Stop the Abuse.

Its Everywhere,

You see.

In You,

In Me.

The Duality,

Hiding in Humanity.

Emotional Waves,

A Tsunami of Energy,

Comes Flooding over me.

Strengthening my Resolve,

Swimming in puzzles to solve.

Dissolving Density,

Evolving as an Entity.

Seeking, Teaching,

A New way of Being.

Seeing Value,

Going through,

What i Had to.

A beacon to others,

Experiencing ,

Unpleasant feelings.

Revealing the roots,

Triggering Truths.

Cleansing the Soul,

So we can Let Go.

Dodging Bullets,

Within the Flow.
